I am very concerned about the care and safety of residents at this nursing home. There are serious issues that I believe need to be investigated, including concerns about medication being given incorrectly or in excessive amounts, residents being given milk to calm them instead of receiving appropriate care, and reports of residents being physically mistreated. I also have concerns about the cleanliness of the facility and whether proper sanitation procedures are being followed. Food preparation and cooking temperatures are another concern, as food should always be prepared and handled at safe temperatures to protect residents from illness. Families trust nursing homes to protect and care for their loved ones, especially when they are vulnerable and unable to speak up for themselves. These concerns should not be ignored. I strongly believe the facility needs closer oversight and that the safety, dignity, and well-being of every resident should be the highest priority.

A warm and welcoming community that focuses on its resident's dignity, independence and commitment to care. They have lots of activities and events to encourage socialization, physical and mental wellness. The food is fantastic and the neighbors are even better!

Executive Director Glenda and her team are very responsive and caring. The new owners are investing quite a lot of money into the facility (all new windows, exterior painting, new landscaping and more). There are plenty of activities on site (movies, crafts, entertainment, bingo, happy hours, holiday events and more) and they also have a bus to take residents off site for activities (ball games, casinos), local grocery shopping, etc. There is available transportation for local doctors. There are a wide variety of food choices for all meals. We don’t use the in house doctor, so I can’t speak to that.

My father has been residing at Lake Howard Heights at their assisted living wing for 4 years due to his Parkinson’s Disease. I’ve been impressed with the caring and compassionate staff since day one. The staff at Lake Howard Heights always goes above and beyond in caring for their residents. Their social activities and life enrichment opportunities for both independent living and assisted living are unequaled. They have a constant line-up of daily activities for their residents so there’s always something to do. I would suggest taking a look at the most recent Activities Calendars on their website to see the full range of offerings for their residents. I highly recommend Lake Howard Heights for anyone seeking a first class independent or assisted living community!

Had to ladies who lived there and seemed to like it. Tillie ended up in nursing home and died there. Think Edna died while there. Both were good friend. Tillie was like a mother to me boo hoo

The staff here has been amazing!!! Just settled my dad in last week and everyone there was VERY VERY accommodating. Glenda, Meghan, Vivian, Dena, Pam, Michelle and everyone else I forgot!!!! I am very happy I chose this place for him....

My mother in law has been a resident at Lake Howard Heights for almost a year. The facility is very nice and the staff are helpful and friendly. They provide social events in house for the residents regularly and also do outings as well. They celebrate holidays and decorate and even dress up which is fun for the residents if they want to participate. I like the fact that they offer independent living along with assisted living.

The senior staff is always receptive to comments and suggestions. I am very pleased with Mom's decision to move to this community.

I recently toured Lake Howard Heights for a relative. Right when you walk in you were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff and residents. The community was very nice and clean. Megan was very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall it seems like a wonderful community.

We moved our dad a month ago into Assisted Living. We have had a long relationship (more than a year) with the Director of Sales, who connected with us and kept up the connection until Dad was ready to move. During our multiple tours (some unannounced so they couldn't be staged), we saw happy residents who have purpose in their every step. We heard and met engaged and friendly staff - clearly a tight-knit community. Most employees have been at LHH over 10 years, which tells you something positive right there. Dad went from being isolated to socialized and gets regular exercise and a healthy diet.

Brayan made this transition for our mother and family such an easy process. He has an infectious and warm personality and made us feel welcome from the first meeting. All of the staff here are very friendly and warmly greet you when you arrive. The facility is beautiful and has many activities for their residents. Brayan is the heart of this community and facilitates communication even after a new resident moves in.
