My aunt was recently discharged from Healthcare Resort of Plano, and our family is incredibly grateful for the care she received during her stay. From the nursing staff to the therapy team and everyone else involved in her care, she was treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. The staff kept us informed, addressed our concerns promptly, and made sure she was comfortable throughout her recovery. Her rehabilitation progress exceeded our expectations, and we truly appreciate the dedication and professionalism of the entire team. Thank you to everyone at Healthcare Resort of Plano for making such a positive difference in my aunt's recovery. The receptionist at the nursing facility was exceptionally kind, respectful, and professional. She greeted every visitor warmly and handled check-ins and inquiries with patience and efficiency. Elizabeth was very attentive to my families needs, making sure everyone felt welcomed and informed. She is truly an asset to the facility and contributes greatly to the positive experience of both residents and visitors.

While the nurses and direct care staff at this facility were knowledgeable, caring and attentive to my mother, the administrative and case management communication with me, as her family advocate, was entirely unacceptable. This was our first experience with a skilled nursing facility and we should be able to rely on the care team to guide us through this overwhelming process. Intake paperwork containing my contact information was left in my mother's room and never collected by staff. I made sure it was known who I was. The case manager never once reached out to discuss her stay or the expectations. I was never formally contacted about her rehab or a discharge plan. In fact, I only found out my mother was being discharged because the third-party home health agency called me to schedule physical therapy. No one from the facility had notified me. My mother was not in a position to retain or relay this information, which the staff failed to recognize. The facility nearly discharged her without making sure family to coordinate picking her up. When I inquired at the front desk, I was promised a meeting in her room within an hour”no one showed up. I had to physically go back and force a meeting. While that manager was thorough in person, the execution was non-existent. We were discharged without the proper paperwork and her prescriptions were never called in. There was no follow-up information, medication list or further information on aftercare or rehab. When I called to fix this, I was promised a callback in 30 minutes and never heard back. I called 2x again and was finally contacted. As a result, they called in her prescriptions on Monday. My mother was discharged the Thursday prior. To top that, two room maintenance requests went completely ignored during her stay, something I wasn't going to review, but now there's a pattern of neglect and I think it's important. The irony is that while the facility successfully coordinated with home health, they completely excluded the family member responsible for her care and safe transition. Had I not aggressively tracked someone down to review her medications and discharge plan, my mother would have been helpless. Families look to the facilities for support and guidance during overwhelming transitions. If you place a loved one here, prepare to do all the heavy lifting.

I was there to visit a friend. She is doing well. Her husband is there also and he is improving . Their rooms are nice , The residents who were able were playing bingo as a group and not just stuck in their rooms. The facility was clean and smelled good ! The security worked exceptionally well. There were no issues with checking in or checking out.

The staff: nurses, nurses aid and other staff are sweet, kind and encouraging. They are friendly and enjoy a good laugh. They are here 24/7 which gives a sense of security. Meals are delish, PT well scheduled, and I must say they helped me through a difficult stage in my life and for this I am forever grateful. The Healthcare Resort of Plano deserves a five star rating.

While there will always be things to improve on, there are many things to love about the resort. The physical therapy program is first class and worth the visit. I have seen significant progress in just one week. Thank you Brian, Leo and the entire physical therapy team for the hope and encouragement you have given our daughter. In addition, the nursing staff is very caring and accommodating and Jamila and Moses especially go out of their way to meet every need. I can’t say enough about the transportation service and grateful to everyone for the tremendous support you have provided during this very difficult time. I would definitely recommend the Healthcare Resort to others. You are a blessing to the community.

Healthcare resorts of Plano has been a tremendous asset to my rehabilitation,everyone knows that food is a major source to help build and rebuild strength,while I’m grateful for the nursing staff I’m overly grateful for the kitchen staff and the meals provided.Im a strong believer that appearance is sometimes we’ll most of the times what makes us want to eat even if not hungry and that’s exactly what happened with me,many days I had no appetite but once I received my meals,that changed,the dietary department rocks the food was different than any other facilities I’ve been in ,it had taste and very flavorful.

My tour of the facility was great. Everyone is warm and friendly and answered all my questions. The residents and caretakers seemed happy and the overall appearance was very clean and welcoming. The size of rooms I looked at were spacious and well kept. The only thing keeping me from putting five stars is the lack of green space. An inner court garden or sitting area would be lovely but I do understand most residents wouldn't be able to enjoy that given their hindrances.

My mom was there for rehab, but got sick while she was there, and they took great care of her so she was able to return to rehab within a few days. I will definitely use Healthcare RESORT of PLANO again if we need to and we’ll recommend it to friends and family!

The staff here is extremely caring, professional and helpful. Especially love my nurse Haneen and my CNA Andres. So many notable people that have worked with me here. A.J.,Charee, Charles, Indu, Jaylen, Amanda, Lo, & Primo in Therapy. The list goes on and on. Wonderful caring people. Excellent meals and fun activities for all who want to participate!
