Very nice facility. Too many unknowns as to know when we have to pick a place for my dear friend. If money were no object, we'd love this place. We just have to wait and see.

Meals are good and staff is friendly but my parents room was dirty and smelled. Staff is supposed to be cleaning their apartment.

I can't say enough good things about Brookdale East Arbor. From first day my wife entered Brookdale after spending two months in the hospital after life savings surgery she began to thrive. The staff was wonderful, caring & compassionate. On the directors desk was a sign saying "Be Kind" & everyone at Brookdale was very kind. Also a shout out to "D" for some very good & healthy meals that contributed to her healing & her return home.

Brookdale East Arbor is a warm friendly place. It always smells good and the building is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is secure and that helps me feel safe that my loved one is there. I have confidence that all is taken care of.

Brookdale helped my relative in an emergency situation, a life threatening occurrence and took in my relative and worked with me until I could get all her ducks in a row so I could feel she was safe and protected and not to feel like she was a problem to be handled. She was welcomed into the Brookdale family immediately.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for all of the staff at Brookdale East Arbor. I've visited/toured numerous places over several months. When the time came that I had to make a decision as my family member could no longer live alone, this was my first choice as being the best place for him to live. I don't live in AZ which can make it difficult to monitor his life. All of the staff and the inhome medical providers are so caring, kind, helpful, keeping me in the loop with all his care/concerns. My priority is that he is safe, well cared for, and all his needs are met. This is the place for him and again thank you to all the staff.

Brookdale East Arbor is a senior living community with staff and management that offer excellent customer service, compassionate care, and engaging programs for residents. The community is very clean and safe with several beautifully furnished areas for residents to relax and socialize. The dining service offers very high quality, healthy meals. My mom lived her last 3 years in East Arbor and I am thankful she was so well cared for and happy.

My 87yr old Aunt who has dementia and breast cancer is absolutely blooming at Brookdale. Every time I go to see her she looks happier than I've seen her in years. She has a very serious solumn personality so to see her walking down the isle towards me with a great big grin is super wonderful. She has her dog with her and her pictures of family all around and no worries at all. Thank you Brookdale and all the wonderful staff who help make this possible.

We are truly grateful to the staff of Brookdale East Arbor for performing their jobs day in and day out to the best of their ability and even more so during this unprecedented lock-down. We can only imagine all the extra work and tender care it takes to manage the residents without the help of relatives and at the same time keeping all relatives informed and in contact with their loved ones. We especially would like to thank them for their patience and graciousness during those times when residents are not at their best. Each time we brought someone to visit (back in the good old days pre-lockdown), they made us feel welcomed, informed and like family. They took time to share how our father was doing and special experiences they had with him. They committed to weekly video calls to keep us connected with him, called us when he needed more supplements or he had fallen, encouraged him to take care of himself, or just sat talking with him when we couldn’t. The kind and caring way they take care of residents and the myriad of little things they do for them is exceptional. Knowing all of them were there made it more bearable for us to have to stay away.

Mom lived at East Arbor for over 3 years and was so happy because the awesome staff gave her so much love and attention. Her final years and days were spent in excellent care and comfort. She loved her beautiful room and enjoyed the delicious meals. She painted pictures, played bingo and especially enjoyed Friday Happy Hour with live entertainment and good friends. Our family is very thankful we chose East Arbor because they went above and beyond for us and we know Mom was happy.

My mother has been in this facility for a little over a year. For the most part it appears that they take good care of her. Many times I have had to remind them of something they were supposed to be doing and had not done.I have had to point out places that have not be vacuumed in a very long time.Mom has dementia and is happy they have places like this for people like her.

My mom has lived at East Arbor for two years now and has been very happy there. She loves her hair dresser, enjoys the meals and has participated in many different activities while there. But most of all, she has developed relationships with the fantastic staff. They make her feel safe, valued and loved. I am really thankful Mom has such a great home. I, too, have come to know the staff well. They always are kind, caring and amaze me by how hard they work on behalf of their residents. East Arbor has a cozy, homelike atmosphere, but its the dedicated staff that truly makes it feel like home for families.

Brookdale has been home my Moms home for over two years now, and it really feels like home. She has been very happy there because she feels safe, valued and loved. The staff work extremely hard to provide excellent service and treat each resident with respect and kindness. I have observed their efforts to connect with each unique individual, seeing that they are not only safe, but enjoying life. Justin has gone above and beyond to see that our familys needs and concerns are addressed. The staff are so dedicated to the residents and treat them like a family. Nurse Christy has frequently helped me, not only with medical concerns, but even locating and replacing TV remote batteries! Beth makes Friday Happy Hour an event that draws a crowd around the fireplace to enjoy live music and is always so fun. Its all the efforts of the staff and the beautiful, friendly environment that make East Arbor a great place to be!

My friend moved into Brookdale (July 2015) with a lot of support from Jeff, he was quite competent in his job. So far we have been happy with the care my friend is receiving. The meal I had here was very good and the attention of the chief (making sure everyone enjoyed the meal) was above the call of duty.As she stays here I will update my reviews as appropriate.
