Be very careful with Wood Glen and Aspenwood - While the caregivers are mostly wonderful - Management is horrible - It is no wonder why the occupancy is so low at times - Go look for yourself - Lease agreements are very misleading - They attempt to double charge families which is why they want automatic draft - Be very careful!!!-Most of the positive reviews are from employees

We couldn’t be happier with Woodland Court! From the moment we toured the facility, we felt welcomed and confident in the care provided here. My experience revolves around my brother's care...he lived at Wood Glen Court for five years. In that time, he grew to enjoy relationships with the staff, who were very kind and patient with him, as his needs were many. Even if I did not have a personal connection with Wood Glen, I would think, when walking into the welcoming reception area, that this would be a great place to live. I can personally recommend this wonderful place for excellent care and a warm environment.

WGC staff made my father's stay a positive experience. From the kind caregivers to the responsive administration, everyone cared and provided great support. They were always looking to improve and we saw a number of good changes demonstrating their efforts. Check out WGC, it's a very nice place. Ultimately, the caregivers being kind, compassionate, and competent was the single most important thing to Dad. They were really there for him and for us.

Shared from Nick Fava and Family: My mother took up residency at Wood Glen Court since Dec. 2023. The community is clean, welcoming and comfortable for all the residents. Mom's room is a spacious studio, and other models may be available. Some even have access to the courtyards! If you do not have the options, there are plenty of access points to spend time outside and get some resh air. The administration is competent and ready to assist you with any needs, The medical staff provide expert care for all the residents needs on a daily basis. The staff exudes warm care & provide us with peace-of-mind that Dorothy is being cared for just like we would. The highlight of her stay is the activities. There is no shortage of daily activities that keep her engaged, encouraged, and feeling energized. There are many options including Bingo, move it or Lose it, and they offer religious services too. There is a solon so that she can get her hair and nails done. Physical therapy and Occupational therapy is also available through PowerBack. Our family is so glad that our mom is happy and being cared for. Wood Glen Court is her new home.

When we moved my mom into WGC, Radigan went over and above making sure mom’s transition was smooth from installing her TV to setting up her phone. He really cares about the residents and doing a great job! Don’t go anywhere Radigan!

In a world where customer service, face to face conversation and a good ole hug are becoming a thing of the past that is not so at Wood Glen Court. I bumped into a staff member named Cheryl who made me feel at ease with her positivity and personal touch. I had some questions while I was visiting my friend, and her knowledge of the property, amenities and residents was impressive. She never made me feel like I was burdening her. Hats off to this blessed employee named Cheryl.

I have a friend who lives here and I know someone else that lives there. There only complaint is the food. And from what I have heard of the food it's awful. I mean chicken nuggets for adults. The staff is great they are so helpful to the people who live there. We went Wednesday night with our church group and they did a singing for them.

Woodglen court is one of the best facilities in Houston. Everything is so calming and nice. The residents are welcoming and amazing. My friend Sarah, who is 96 years old, has been at Wood Glen Court for over 5 years. She has always been happy there. That is really all that matters to me. She loves the staff. I watch her interact with them and they are all so kind to her. She has medical staff to see her when she needs them, her medicine is always administered when she needs it and I'm contacted if there is a problem. When I have any concerns, the staff takes their time to address them. For me, as the caregiver to Sarah, I have been so happy with Wood Glen Court. Sarah loves it there. She is well cared for and is treated with the utmost respect. I would never have left her in a place that I didn't have confidence in to meet all her needs.

Had an uncle and aunt at Wood Glen Court they loved it. Facility was wonderful great environment, very clean, had many activities, food was wonderful. Plus, you could go to the dining room at any time and get any of the snacks that you wanted you would never go hungry there. They loved living there the staff treated them so nice and went beyond to see that they were happy. Never had any problems. I would refer anyone that needs any type of assistant living to Wood Glen Court. Treated my aunt and uncle with the best care as if they were family. Never had any complaints. Staff was very courteous treated them with respect and never once did I have to worry about my aunt and uncle the environment was fantastic!

Wood Glen Court has been such a wonderful place for my Mom. She moved in right before the pandemic put the world on lock down. They have fiercely protected their residents and kept them safe, happy and entertained. And well-fed! Delores, Maria, Kim and the whole team have gone above and beyond to make these days fun and keep to us informed with what is going on. It's such a lovely place too.

There are so many activities to keep the residents busy, and the Executive Director, Kim, regularly keeps families informed of the most up to date health and safety protocols. I have been playing live music and entertaining the residents at Wood Glen Court for the past year. I have had nothing but positive experiences while I was there. The staff is helpful and courteous. The residents are fun and very interactive. They love to pick songs and dance. The facility is nice, clean and welcoming. Definitely a 5 star facility. Thank you Wood Glen Court!

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Wood Glen Court for about 14 months now. Prior to the lockdown due to the Covid-19 virus, I was a regular visitor to the facility at many different occasions and various times of the day/night. Every staff member I encountered was always friendly and had a smile and was so kind to my mother-in-law and knew her by name. When we attended events, there was always such warmth and camaraderie and you could see the staff genuinely cared about their residents. The activity director goes above and beyond to plan fun events and tries to include everyone to participate at whatever level they are able. She knows how to put a smile on their faces and is so encouraging to everyone whether resident or family members. The special care they have taken during the lockdown is remarkable. They are there for her when we cannot be and have gone to great lengths to make sure that no one gets exposed or sick. They are truly heroes in our eyes.

My mother moved into WGC almost four years ago and she couldn't be happier. My siblings and I agonized over the thought of her being in "one of those places", but our concerns were totally unfounded. It was the best decision we could have made. From the administrative staff to the medical technicians, and everyone in between, they treat my mom like family, which is priceless. If you're considering such a move, I would highly recommend taking a look.

My 93 year old father was suffering from heart failure and moved into WGC to receive needed help. The staff at WGC(especially the daytime staff), tried to accommodate his every need. It was their staff that helped our family through the most emotional trials we have ever experienced. They helped us in more ways than we could ever expect. BEST ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY/STAFF AROUND!! My family and I have toured dozens of places for my 95 year old grandpa, and we weren’t going to settle for anything less than amazing. The moment we walked in the first time, the overall vibe and mood overtook us with happiness! We asked many residents who we came across how they liked it, and 100% of them had nothing but good things to say about their experience! We moved my grandpa in roughly two weeks ago, we’ve visited probably ten times now and we are absolutely in love with our selection! The staff is so genuine and cares deeply for their residents. My parents and I toured this gorgeous property filled with light and joy. The apartment is over the top luxurious, beautiful finishes, very large with so much storage. They are delighted with the scheduled activities at the property, as well as being taken to some of their favorite restaurants; Perrys Olive Garden, red lobster for lunch. My parents and I are delighted to say we have found their new home! A very fine home they can be proud of!
