Grand Villa of Ormond Beach is the perfect place for my mother-in-law. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. Throughout the process of getting her settled in, we worked with Jean, Toni and Dawn and they were all so kind, compassionate and helpful. Every time we visit, we see how genuinely the staff cares about their residents and families, which gives us great peace of mind. We are very grateful for the excellent care and support she receives and feel it is the best place for her to be.

I recently toured Grand Villa of Ormond Beach with my Aunt Kyle, and the experience was excellent. The facility made a strong impression from the moment we arrived. We met with Austin, who was professional, informative, and incredibly supportive”guiding us through the beautiful grounds and amenities while also being a great help to me as my aunt goes through this transition. I also had the pleasure of meeting Lisa, the Nursing Director of Assisted Living. Lisa was particularly impressive; she came across as strong, confident, and highly knowledgeable about resident care and the community’s protocols. Most importantly, my aunt has been doing wonderfully, which brings me a great deal of comfort during this process. Overall, we really liked Grand Villa and the employees we encountered. The staff’s expertise, compassion, and welcoming demeanor make it a top contender for my aunt’s care.

The staff made my mom feel right at home on her first full day as a resident. She loves to joke around and is still full of life and they picked up on that and laughed right with her. That is exactly what she needed. From the front office, to the front desk, to the housekeeping staff, to the dining room staff, to the maintenance staff, to all the caregivers and activities staffI know you all have a difficult job but I commend each and every one of you for your kindness and patience in caring for all of my mom’s needs

My mom loves her home at the Grand Villa. She has made many friends. The staff are the shining stars as they all know her name and make everyone feel welcome when they come to visit! There are activities everyday that she can participate in if she chooses. I think her favorite is the monthly excursion out to lunch at a local restaurant. She also enjoyed playing putt putt golf, having lunch at the ocean, and taking walks on the trail in downtown Ormond Beach.

I am forever grateful for the care my mother is getting at Grand Villa. Lisa, the head nurse, genuinely cares for the residents. She listens to my concerns and acts on them. Lisa is honest and there for the right reasons. The staff from the receptionist, Dawn and Toni were so patient with my constant calling to check on my mother when she first got there. The techs are awesome, the chef and his staff go above and beyond to make residents dining experience pleasurable. The activity director is spot on with keeping everyone moving! I was very dejected by the time I did my tour at Grand Villa with Austin, but i was so pleasantly surprised. I have been caring for my mom with Alzheimer’s for 10 months twenty four hours a day seven days a week! I needed a mental break. I placed my mom at Grand Villa Ormond location for 10 days in Repite Care. They weee absolutely wonderful! A big thank you to Keith, Christine, Brittany, John Toni!!! The staff did a great job caring for my mom and she had a great time socializing even played bingo and corn hole! Would highly recommend their facility and will probably use them again in the future so that I can have a little break!

Grand Villa Senior Community offers a beautiful assisted living situation for seniors of all levels of care. The staff is very caring, helpful and pleasant. The dining room offers delicious food by a top chef and staff. The rooms are lovely and the entire facility is immaculately kept. It is a living arrangement that I would be happy to live in myself, should the need arise. I live 10 minutes away and am able to spend time with my mom, as well as take her out for the afternoon and return her to a safe and pleasant environment. There are activities available to those who are able to participate . I highly recommend Grand Villa to anyone searching for a good living arrangement for their loved one, during what could otherwise be a very stressful and emotional time. My mom’s safety, comfort and happiness is what made me choose Grand Villa.

Very satisfied with our experience with Grand Villa. We were unsure of the next step for my grandmother after rehab, but Grand Villa made her transition extremely easy and comfortable for her. For nearly ten years, we have been paying members of this community. I trusted this assisted living community to actually assist my mother and take care of her needs. As a result of her increasing dementia, she began exhibiting some negative behaviors. I was not called in for any consultation or discussion at all. On November 2, I received a brusque, formal, uncaring phone call that informed that I must move my mother to another facility. There were no attempts to have a meeting with me to discuss the situation, to seek medical or social solutions, to call in medical professionals, to seek answers to her problems. All I received was just a dismissal notice to let me know I had to have her out of the facility by Christmas Day. Who evicts an old lady on Christmas? The aides are wonderful--overworked and underpaid. The administration is a disappointment and a shame. Do not put your loved one here.
