My parents spent their entire adult lives in one house except for when they moved to IV the last 2 years of their lives. After a few months of adjustment, they considered IV of Aurora their home and the staff and caregivers their family. The love that comes from IV is palpable. Everyone who works there are 100% dedicated to happiness and well being of every resident. Our family was blessed to find Independence Village.

The facility was beautiful. I was blessed to work here. The wellness director Tanisha was helpful at all costs. If I needed anything, she was a text/call away. The patients were very sweet and there was definite team work throughout the building. I always look forward to every return! 10/10 in all areas. -a happy traveling nurse

My mother has made Cambridge Court her home for 18 months. It has been a wonderful experience. The staff are caring, patient and consistently give me the feeling they love their jobs. I have been extremely impressed by something many may feel is insignificant - the facility always smells good! I love the fact that a pleasant person is going to be coming to her room numerous times daily: to give her medications, empty trash, give a reminder of meals or events taking place. And they even check on her through the evening. My previous concerns about her living independently was her falling often and not being found for hours. Assisted living was the answer. Those concerns vanished. With the good care she's receiving, she's healthier and hasn't even had a fall during her time at Cambridge Court. I'm a fan! Debra Hochgraber

Moved my 93 year old mother to Silvergate Fallbrook in April this year. The apartment is very nice, a one bedroom one bath unit that has a cute patio overlooking a green belt area; my mom loves it! I am so happy because my mom loves it there and regularly comments that she loves her apartment and that everyone is so nice; she is referring to both the other residents and the staff. She is also very complementary of the food. I can attest to the fact that the staff personnel are very friendly and professional; they keep an eye on my mom and are very accommodating to her and our needs. I couldn't be happier with this place and would recommend it to anyone.

My mother Anne has been at VSL for 2 years and has had a great experience. She is 92 and loves the daily activities, monthly special dinners for family, 3 meals a day and the kindness and personal attention she receives from all of the staff members. The administrative, nursing, kitchen, cleaning, and maintenance staff all know her name and treat her with respect and compassion. I have grown up being a part of this community, as my mom has worked here for several years. She has been my inspiration, as she started as a housekeeper, and through hard work, determination and the love she has for the residents, she is now the Administrator. I love volunteering my time to help during special events, because I have grown very close to the residents. They are a part of my family. For the last few years, I have helped create the Haunted House Event (pics attached). This event is always well attended.
