How to Stay Connected with Loved Ones In Senior Living Communities
While our parents might have grown up with rotary phones, many facilities now offer the latest technologies for keeping in touch. Staying connected with loved ones should be fast and simple with free WiFi. Residents can call loved ones or enjoy video calls via Zoom or Facetime.
Ranking The Best Senior Living Facilities in Mississippi
Our ranking protocols are not based on the popularity and extra amenities offered by a community. Instead, our rankings are built on online reviews, affordability, incidences of state violations as reported by the Mississippi State Department of Health, online reviews, and essential amenities provided.
Mississippi has one of the lowest costs for assisted living, averaging $3,500 per month. Housing, meals, basic services and amenities are included. If much more care is needed, memory care and skilled nursing is a better choice, but costs much more. We did our best to find and rank communities that are competitively priced. A community is only good if you can afford to live there.

What residents and loved ones have to say about Brookdale Hattiesburg Assisted Living:
I’ve been overwhelmed at the kindness and care Mother receives at Brookdale. I was nervous over placing her in a home as this, but everyone there has made me and my family feel relaxed and confident she’s in good hands. When I visit, my mom excitedly shares events, parties, or trips she’s been to or participated in. She always looks adorable with painted nails and pretty hair. The staff is also fun to see for me as they joke with us and tell me little stories about sly comments mom has made. We transitioned last year from Brookdale 1 to 2 as mom’s abilities changed. The move went seamlessly for her, thanks to the staff. I also greatly appreciate the attention to detail on Covid-19 restrictions, and the thoughtful care of shielding residents. I’m delighted to share our good experience with Brookdale in Hattiesburg, MS. I would recommend to anyone.

What residents and loved ones have to say about Peach Tree Village:
We love it here so much. The people are stellar. It is clean, safe, beautiful, experience rich and the food is better than most restaurants. The staff somehow manages to treat each resident and their family like their main priority. No need to look any further. Just go talk to Tony he will take care of you.

What residents and loved ones have to say about The Goldton at Adelaide:
When my dad could no longer live independently, my sister and I made assisted living arrangements at The Goldton. Every day he comments that, “They’re so good to me”. Though he still misses his home, he is very happy with his apartment, his meals, and most of all his care from the staff. They check on him regularly and constantly try to get him out of his room more often. The integrated Physical Therapy unit is only a few doors down from Dad, and Todd has been amazing in relieving his pain, working on his balance, and encouraging him. We absolutely recommend The Goldton to anyone, but especially families like us who live close by. Being able get over to him in minutes makes visiting and checking on him so easy.

I cant say enough good things about The Blake and the care my grandmother received there in her final years. She felt at home there and as family, we always felt comfort in knowing the care she received. I would definitely recommend The Blake at Township to anyone looking for a community for a loved one.
