My mother-in-law passed away about a week ago, Thanksgiving Day. The care that she received from the staff was outstanding. During her stay at Brewster Parke for 2 yrs, She was so happy. The staff always was so helpful with her daily activities. Everyone at this facility treated you like you were family. I could sleep at night knowing she was in good hands. The staff answered any questions. It was so nice to be included in your care planning. When the time came that she needed more care Hospice was suggested. We want to say thanks to the many aides, and nurses, the care planning team. The laundry and cleaning employees would come in with a smile. The day we had to admit her into the nursing home the admissions director, Lisa made this such a good experience. Thank you. Jennifer the social worker is amazing so helpful and caring. Thank you. A special thank you to Christina, DON for helping me each day when I needed a friend to sit and chat with. For being Shirleys friend when she needed one. Thank you to Caleb in dietitian for bringing Shirley a smile each day, you would take the time to say hi, you even came in on your days off for a short visit. She loved your visits. Thank you, Jason (candyman she would call you) a nurse who was with her during her last hours. Hospice had many caring people who was there for Shirley besides the care of Brewster Parke employees. Kathleen, Tina and Chaplin Steve are truly a blessing, Thank you so much for everything you had done for Shirley. So yes this is a very caring place, that have many hearts that truly care about their residents. Thank you so much once again. We love you all.
