BROOKDALE HAS MADE TRANSITIONING MY MOM INTO ASSISTED LIVING MUCH EASIER THAN I would have ever dreamed. The staff has been like family and that has allowed me to work and live very normally. I truly have not one complaint about out time associated with Brookdale. We have had nothing but kindness and respect shown to us . I find everyone there trustworthy, caring, friendly and professional. My Mom is happy and done well there under her circumstances. I cannot stress that being kind when working with others fosters relationships and if you want to build one with them , this is the place to go. I will go as far as saying they have been a big blessing in both of our lives.

Brookdale Willows has been a very pleasant experience for my family and my mom. When you walk inside you immediately feel welcome and at home. My mom is very picky about food and she always talks about how great the food tastes. The staff have always been available for questions and help. Brookdale Willows just has an overall wonderful feeling.

Back in December of 2020, my Dad was in complete lockdown for over a year, in an independent living community contracted co-vid and had to move him 5x over 6 weeks! to different facilities ... and since moving to the Willows at Brookdale he has changed dramatically.... when he first arrived he was on a gurney and on hospice with not a long time given... With the love and encouragement and constant work the team at Brookdale did with my Dad...he went from on a gurney to in a wheelchair to now walking! Angels on Earth...They even gave my Dad a reason to work hard at his rehabbing.... get him to see the new football facilities at Sherman HS, my Dad was a football coach there back in the 70s... Christina(Sales and Marketing Director) and the team orchestrated the best visit , with media, cheerleaders and old teammates to greet and tour him! My Dad is back to being his old self...happy, healthy and probably outlive me... couldnt imagine this is where hed be today. Best Experience ever!!! Thank you Brookdale Willows Sherman... Do I recommend them? YES!! See what they can do for your loved one!

Its been almost one year since I moved mom from her home of 17 years. The staff, from the start, made mom feel welcome and secure. They are very supportive and understanding with moms mental well being (dementia). Over the last several months the team at Brookdale are always striving to involve mom in activities-events. The staff has also welcomed moms little schnauzer, Princess Polly, into the community. Everyone is attentive to moms needs and Pollys too. Thank you!!

My mother has been at Brookdale for 20 months now with Alzheimers and she actually improved since she had been home alone previously.. She immediately felt comfortable and was able to not only adapt, but thrive since living there. The staff has been very attentive and helpful which has been a godsend for both my mother and us.

My mother is in the memory care unit at Brookdale Willows and the care she is given is without a doubt the most outstanding care that can possibly be provided.....The ENTIRE staff from top to bottom provide care from an emotional perspective.....The staff understands the utmost importance of caring for a loved one.....When I'm out of town I feel at total ease when situations arise because they are handled with top notched professionalism. I am so happy that we chose Brookdale Willows Sherman for my mom. As soon as we walked in the facility, we felt comfortable. Everyone was kind and welcoming. It is clean, everyone is well cared for, and they offer many activities. Mom has been there for about a month. It was such a difficult decision to make the move, but she adjusted so quickly and actually said after the first week that she hadnt cried once and she didnt think she was going to. That speaks volumes for the staff and her sweet neighbors. Tyler, Sarah, Heather, Mike, Shauna, and Cari have all been wonderful. They all take a genuine interest in each resident and have created a family atmosphere. I trust the staff at the Willows to take great care of my mom. We couldnt be happier! UPDATE.... my mom has been at Brookdale Willows for 5 months now. She absolutely loves it. Every staff member knows moms preferences and interacts with her with such genuine care. They have created a fun, respectful, safe, loving environment. Mom feels at home and enjoys the many activities available. She is flourishing and enjoying wonderful new friends and fun activities. Family was invited to dinner last night to showcase the new chef. The food was delicious! This is by far the best assisted living facility Ive seen!

I Have recently moved my father to Brookdale of Sherman. I want to thank all the staff for their professionalism, kindness and concern. Every employee I have come in contact with has been very helpful. Thank you everyone for showing such compassion. You are doing a great, heartfelt job and my father seems very happy. If there were six stars to give It would not be enough to describe the quality and sincerity that this facility shows toward the care of their residents.

My Mom lived there until she declined to the point of needing a nursing home. She loved it there! The rooms are spacious and beautiful, the staff is wonderful and caring. She had lots of friends and enjoyed the activities. I still pop in occasionally because it was a place my Mom loved and it makes me feel close to her. She passed five years ago.

My Mom was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Since both my brother and I live on the West Coast, we were in a dilemma about where to place her to receive the best care. Originally, we placed her in a facility that was not a lock down and, unfortunately, she escaped several times and they could not handle her behavior. She was sent to the hospital where she was waiting for a placement to a new facility. Leah Bergdoff at Brookdale Willows and their RNs were incredibly helpful to me and went way beyond the call of duty to assist us with our Mom. They sent a nurse to the hospital to interview Mom and arranged for her to go to Haven Hospital. Unfortunately, Mom was unable to sign herself in to Haven Hospital, so we had to find alternative placement. Even though she was not placed in Brookdate due to her behavioral issues, Brookdale was amazing in terms of their care and concern and helped us in every way they could. Their facility is beautiful and I'm sorry it didn't work out for Mom to be placed there. I would highly recommend them for their exceptional care and their willingness to step in when no one else would. I am very grateful to them.

After a lifetime in the same home, I had to move my mom out of her home, the town she grew up in and her state. To say that I had reservations is an understatement. However, after meeting the staff at The Willows, all of my hesitation and anxiety were put to rest. Rachel, Leah and Sara made us so confident with the move and gave such great attention to details of mothers condition of alzheimers and dementia that for the first time in years I was able to know that Mother was in good hands and being cared for and attended to. The room is perfect for her and the Willows is so encouraging about decorating with pictures to make it feel more like home. Because I live nearby I am able to drop in unannounced and am always greeted by friendly smiles and greetings. The other residents are happy and it shows in their demeanor. I will admit, it took a little while for mother to adjust, which was expected, but the staff of The Willows helped both mother and I understand about changes. It makes me feel so much better that she has 3 good meals daily, Bible study weekly and even her hair appointment weekly. The Willows offers activities such as bingo and bus rides that mother has taken advantage of and it has been wonderful. She has been alone for the past 30 years and finally, she sees people daily who care about her. Because I lived so far away, I was only able to see her every 3 months. Now I get to see her 2 or three times a week and she is getting to enjoy her grandchildren and getting to know her great grandchildren. Her neighbors at the willows have become her friends. Any questions I have are answered immediately by any staff member I happen to encounter. When she had a little discomfort in her chest, the staff immediately contacted me and made arrangements for her to be taken to the hospital. The nurses are attentive and patient and truly love what they do and it shows in the way they treat the residents. I will never move my mom from the Willows. She considers it home, which blesses my soul. I am eternally thankful for everyone at The Willows.

Placed my friend at the Willows in July of last year. She was very well cared for - the staff is unfailingly helpful, concerned, attentive and pleasant to work with. The facility is very clean and well-kept; numerous activities are offered. Personal attention to each resident is very evident throughout. The food is about the weakest link in the chain - not awful, but not noteworthy, either. I would recommend the Willows to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable and caring facility.
