Preston Place in Sherman, TX is a wonderful home for my father. The facility is well managed and clean. The staff is great and they treat the residents with care and respect. I am so pleased that we found such a good fit for our family. Update: Many thanks to all the hard working, caring staff at Preston Place. My father recently passed and their kindness and attention to him in his final days was so comforting to us. The staff was very attentive to his needs and also helpful to us in navigating such a difficult time. I am grateful that he passed in such a loving, caring environment.

I went to visit my grandpa and I was walking around with him. I believe her name was Nicole Pryor, she was very helpful. She not only joked around with my grandpa and made him laugh, she made me feel good that he was here. Thank you to all the staff.

Went today for the ribbon cutting and the staff and facilities are awesome. Everyone is so welcoming and really seem like family. All of the residents all seem so happy and well taken care of. You can tell that there is so much attention to detail and love that goes into every little thing.

I’m a hospice RN who has taken care of several residents at this facility. The staff are caring, they have events and daily activities with residents. The food served is superior to many facilities I’ve been in. They have always communicated well with me to provide timely and efficient care.

Wow!! What a great experience coming to Preston Place. The facility was very clean and I really felt right at home. Meeting with Chelsea Bain was truly a difference maker for me. My mom has lived there during the pandemic, a period when such facilities have tremendous staffing challenges. I have given 4 stars rather than 5 because at some points Preston Place, like others, has had to rely on temporary staff. That said, key staff have been wonderful in caring for my mom, especially the nurse Peggy and ever-present Dorothy, and Rebecca. Peggy, Dorothy, and Rebecca are wonderful and tireless. New staff members who I have met also seem excellent, but I don't know them as well yet. We have experienced none of the nightmares or chronic problems that one hears about assisted living facilities. Also, I visit almost every day and have never seen any interaction between a staff member and a resident that did not seem caring and appropriate.

I love this community. Some pf the nicest people I have ever met. They even have an Argentum national award winner for best care. Location is really nice, kind of secluded, and the food....let me just say Chef Phoebe is one of the best I have ever come across. They have not had anyone with Covod-19 and been working hard to stay that way. Great place!
