Brookdale Medford has been the best choice in the Rogue Valley for my mother. Brookdale, is moms home away from home. It is inviting, warm, cozy and safe. The management is extremely great to work with. The care team and staff are a blessing. They all really care and love mom. Even the chef is friendly and available to talk with. Super friendly staff, always with a smile to say hello. Caregiving is a hard job, but you wouldn't see this in Brookdale's staff, they have grace and compassion for the residence. Location was huge for our family. Brookdale is located close to Asante Hospital and moms Primary Care Physician, less than a mile away. A local grocery store half a mile up the road, two miles to I-5. Brookdale could not be in a more perfect location with the beautiful mountain views and garden setting. I could not be more satisfied with the care mom gets. Even in an event that mom was sick, they all come together as a team to help her with her needs and make her feel comfortable. Always in communication with me for suggestions or something mom may need. If anyone is looking for a place to have your loved one go to, I could not be more happy with the love and care Brookdale has for their residence. Let me tell you, I am a picky daughter who cares and loves her mother deeply. This is my husband computer, I am Melissa McKenzie 🙂

I appreciate so many of the staff at Brookdale Medford who make the community a warm and welcome home for the residents. The environment is comfortable and the activities are engaging. My mother is 92 years old and very independent yet. I feel comforted to know that at any time, day or night, she may have need of assistance, it is available to her at the press of a button. I love going there and seeing the happy faces, both residents and staff.

Well someone is certainly not telling the truth @yfw.Marcella. I’m in this community several times a week as a third-party provider, and I feel compelled to speak up after seeing a recent review that is completely out of line with what I’ve consistently observed. This is truly one of the cleanest, most well-run senior living communities in the area. The staff are professional, attentive, and genuinely care about the residents. Claims of drug use, poor hygiene, and staff sleeping on the job are simply not true ” they are baseless and harmful. If you’re considering this community, don’t let one angry, misinformed review mislead you. Visit the community for see it for yourself. The level of care and cleanliness here speaks volumes.

My father moved in to Brookdale two weeks ago, and while a transition to a new home can be difficult, Brittany, Gary, Tanya, Autumn, Paja and the entire staff at Brookdale have helped make this change easier for my dad than I could have ever hoped for. They are caring, responsive, and communicative, and they've encouraged my dad to join various activities and events, and he's already met really nice people and is making new friends. Brookdale is a clean and inviting community, and I'm grateful for the warm reception my dad received from both staff and residents. Searching for an assisted living community for a loved one can be overwhelming. The sales manager Veronica eliminated all of the stress. She regularly contacted me to provide information about Brookdale Medford, answered questions, offered suggestions and resources whenever I asked. Mostly, she cares at her core for each resident and their families. Thank you!

Some of the staff at Brookdale were very good to my father, but mostly it was a very bad experience for both him and us. The transition for my dad was extremely difficult and the manager of Brookdale was really very cold and rude. She caused a lot of additional stress and turmoil in an already difficult time for us. My dad had very limited vision and often was struggling with mealtimes and the kitchen staff was rude and unhelpful. We paid extra money for staff to walk his dog, and they only did it if we bugged them about it. I could go on and on, but I would just say that we were so happy to move him out of there before he died. He got to enjoy his last few months at a most wonderful place that actually cared for him rather than just the money....

I moved mom in to Brookdale Medford OR in June 2025 and have been very happy with the process and her care. Veronica, Cassie, Brittany, Kathleen and Chris (as well as many others that are not listed) assistance helped ease our way as she moved in and adjusted to her new home. Mom was apprehensive with this move but has shared that she likes her apartment and the staff and residents at Brookdale. When mom’s health declined due to terminal illness, Brookdale provided her with the best care until she passed. I did not have to worry about mom if/when I was not at her side. I would recommend Brookdale Medford to anyone looking for a home for themselves or parent. Thank you! Pam C.

My 93 year old mom will be moving up from southern California to live at Brookdale. Veronica was so helpful, guiding me through the process. In one week, I had secured an apartment! I did not get overwhelmed or frustrated, as Veronica walked me through each step. Each time I went to the facility, I was impressed by the friendly employees, happy residents and the clean and inviting atmosphere. I know my mom will feel safe and cared for. I'm looking forward to her move-in date and all the good things to follow.

My Uncle lived the last two and a half years of his life at Brookdale Medford. He was was happy and very well cared for. Russ made many friends and looked on the staff as family. He enjoyed exercise class, movie nights and the musicians that performed regularly. My Uncle had a health emergency that mandated he live in assisted living care, I had no knowledge of what facilities were available in the Rogue Valley, I looked at 5 and chose Brookdale. Brookdale's facilty is clean and bright, the staff was friendly, the folks living there were happy and the food looked and smelled tasty. No one could be as good a cook as Gramma, Russ a picky eater, admitted the food was pretty darn good. Brookdale supplied transport too and from Dr. appointments Russ always made the round trips safely and on time. The Brookdale staff closely monitored my Uncles health seeing to his needs, I was always called if further care was needed. Sadly Russ's health deteriorated to a point that hospice was prescribed, I was scared and did not know what would happen next. I spoke with Amanda at Brookdale, she assured me Russ could come home to his appartment and live out his days. In Russ's final weeks he was lovingly cared for until he peacefully passed away. I visited my Uncle 2 or 3 times a week for nearly 30 months, any concerns I had were quickly addressed and questions clearly answered. I was welcomed as a guest. Thanks to the caring staff at Brookdale.

Brookdale Medford has been the best experience for me, my family and mom. I can not be more happy with the decision we made. The staff are extremly friendly, they will work with you with any of your needs or concerns. The layout is great, there is a hair salon on premis, the dining is elegant but warm, exercise class daily, great decoration for each seaon. Everyone looks out for one another. It feels safe, comfortable, warm and most of all, for me the location is incredible.

I would defiantly recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for assisted living in the rogue valley. My mom was so well taken care of. The staff were super responsive to both my mom and my needs. My mother had medical issues when she arrived and the staff helped to resolve them (better than her previous doctor!) and as her condition changed they made her life both comfortable and safe. Brookdale Medford is top notch. Dad is comfortable and well taken care of here. He looks forward to seeing the staff on a daily basis. When we come to visit the staff is always pleasant and accommodating to our needs. His favorite staff member is Penny the shuttle driver, I think he may have a little crush on her. Brookdale has been amazing to my mom and her needs. We were so worried when my dad passed last year that she would isolate herself from the world. When we spoke with her about a senior living community she wasn't so sure. We toured 3 other communities in the area and our 4th stop was Brookdale. My mom absolutely loved it. The apartment suits her perfectly and she has made so many friends. She loves the "field trips" as she calls them and the staff has been so friendly and accommodating to all her needs and ours as well. If you are looking for a community for your loved ones Brookdale is the best! I highly recommend this community and their caring staff to everyone.

Yesterday I received a phone call from Kathleen at Brookdale senior living. She was inquiring about my upcoming tour of the facility and I explained that I had not spoken to anyone about a tour. A year previously I had been looking for an assisted living center for my wife.We did not choose Brookdale and my wife recently passed away. Kathleen asked if I would like a hot meal and I was completely surprised by the offer but said of course sure. She said dinner was served at 5 o'clock and today at 4:50, Ashley delivered a hot meal to my home. Thankyou!

I wanted to thank the staff at Brookdale for ltheir help in our efforts to move a family member to Brookdale in February during the extreme Covid restrictions, we were given a virtual tour by two young ladies that met us at the door. Ali then walked us thru step by step, never losing patience with my numerous calls and concerns. Our family member is happy with the feeling of home now and we are happy to be treated so well as we enter the building for visits. Can't wait for the time when staff can remove their masks so we can see the smiles that we know are behind them.

My Dad lived at Brookdale for over 2 1/2 years. It was top notch from the beginning. My Dad was diagnosed with end stage dementia a few weeks ago and the hospital recommended I put him in skilled nursing with hospice. I started to plan for that when I got a call from Christina at Brookdale. She told me that they loved my dad and wanted him to come home to do his end of life care with hospice help, in his own apartment. Christina, Cass and staff would hold his hand and comfort him for hours. My Dad passed away in his own apartment with dignity thanks to Broodale. I could never thank them enough.

My wife's mother moved to Brookdale Medford from Southern California last month, after her husband passed away.The transition has been surprisingly smooth given the circumstances, due to the friendly, attentive management and staff, the great food, the clean sunny apartment overlooking the garden my mother-in-law moved into, the activities offered (she especially enjoys the shopping excursions), and the terrific location, which is near everything she needs. Brookdale Medford is clean and well-maintained, and is about to be updated. We are looking forward to seeing the completed renovations.

My mom moved into Brookdale Medford in January of 2016. She absolutely loves it. The staff goes out of their way to help out in any way they can. They are professional and friendly. There is always a smile when you enter the building. They keep the rooms clean and my mother LOVES the food. Her medical need are met very carefully and she is very happy to be there. I feel anyone would be glad that their elderly parent was in such good care.
