My father stayed at The Springs at Anne Maria for a relatively short time”about 10 months”but the impact it had on both of our lives was truly meaningful. His move came with some apprehension after a medical event that required him to transition from independent living, and naturally, we were unsure of what to expect. From day one, however, our concerns were put to rest. Every single staff member was absolutely amazing”from the office team to medical staff, housekeeping, and the kitchen and dining team. While I won’t name individuals for fear of leaving someone out, please know that each person played a role in creating a loving, warm, supportive, and genuinely caring environment. The compassion, professionalism, and sense of community at Anne Maria went far beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend The Springs at Anne Maria to anyone seeking a place for their parent or loved one. In truth, we now consider the people there friends for life”and honestly, if I could, I’d move in myself!

I believe it’s called ghosting. It’s when you interviewed and they have no intentions of really hiring anybody. I interviewed with [name removed]. She then said they would send me a personality test. During the interview, I realized that it wasn’t what she was advertising. The job title was wrong and the pay scale was wrong. I knew I had been had. It’s really a shame. There are some people out there that are really needing the work and they look forward to those interviews and the hopes of taking care of their family. Myself I already have a job but really wanted to get back into senior care. This type of practice is positively repugnant, and does not reflect well on a company that should be exhibiting a great deal of dignity and respect being that they are caring for our elderly. I would hope that [name removed] would at least send me an apology for wasting my time, and promise to stop this marketing practice.

My aunt lived at The Springs of Anna Maria for almost twenty years in independent living. The management and staff are so caring and have activities and outings based on resident’s interests. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is very walkable to local trails, restaurants, the Asante Medical Center and easily drivable to anywhere in the valley. My family and I were always impressed with the vibrancy and friendliness of the other residents as well, we felt so welcome when visiting. One night, I heard laughter coming from the small movie room on the third floor as I walked by and thought how fun to be surrounded by friends for a fun, casual movie time right in your own building’. When our aunt passed away, the staff was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. Thank you to Meaghan, Nancy, Jeremy and so many more.

The staff is very experienced and supportive, and every time I asked for special help of any kind they always came through for me. My mother lived at The Springs at Anna Maria for more than 15 years! She began her stay in the Independent section and eventually moved into the Personal Care Unit. Mom moved 3,000 miles away from her original home before residing at Anna Maria, so it was a huge transition for her. Not only was her apartment spacious and beautiful - the staff and residents were warm and welcoming. She quickly made friends and felt at home. During her entire stay there, I always felt sure that she was receiving the best care possible. The staff always kept me well informed and I was always welcomed when I visited her regularly. The facility was always impeccably maintained and the food was excellent. But, it was the amazing staff that made the atmosphere feel like family. My Mom and Dad moved into the Springs at Anna Maria in 2012. My Dad passed in 2015. I’ve been very pleased with the care and living environment that Anna Maria’s has provided to my folks. The apartments, facilities, grounds, food, staff and caregivers have always been very good. My Mom loves Bridge and I’m so happy she can continue to play even at 96! She also loves the convenience of the on-site Salon, the library, card rooms and transportation for her appointments. Knowing that our Mom is safe and cared for gives me and my siblings so much peace of mind. I would definitely recommend the Springs at Anna Maria for anyone needing assisted living.

My mother lived at The Springs at Anna Maria for around 3 years, starting out in independent living and later moving into assisted living. Throughout this time, I was pleased with the professionalism, care, and compassion presented throughout the organization. Employees at every level-- from the top administration, to the front desk, the medical staff, the housekeepers, maintenance personnel, dining room staff -- EVERYONE made an effort to know my mother's often idiosyncratic needs and preferences and to accommodate them with kindness and patience. The facility and grounds are lovely and the food is varied, nutritious and quite yummy. I am especially impressed by how, through the Covid years, the facility has kept cases to an absolute minimum compared with others in the area. I also appreciated Meghan's thorough and timely communication about the status of things vis a vis Covid infections. We eventually had to move my mother into another facility due to her cognitive decline. But I feel that the staff bent over backwards to accommodate her rapidly changing needs. They really endeavored to keep her in her familiar home for as long as they were able to within the parameters of their licensure and concerns for her safety.

My in-laws moved to Anna Marie when it was determined that our mother needed additional care. Unfortunately, she only lived a short time after moving in, but our father was there for 5 years. He was treated with love and compassion. He was a fine man with a deep love for his wife and his grief never dissipated but his appreciation of the concern and care he received kept him going. Meaghan and her staff were so kind. We became like family; especially with admin staff members Margaret and Nancy. My folks moved into The Springs at Anna Maria almost a year ago and our experience has been excellent. The apartment is perfect for them, with a wonderful patio with a gorgeous view. The food has been excellent and the staff has been so kind and helpful. My husband has had many major health problems in the last year and it has been so helpful to know that my parents had all the support they needed while I was less available for them. The neighborhood around provides excellent safe, flat areas for my dad to walk and is close to all their doctors offices ad the hospital. The transportation provided has been so helpful and my dad enjoys using it. If you have a family member looking for a new living situation in the valley, you should absolutely consider The Springs at Anna Maria.

When our mother was no longer able to live on her own, my sister and I had the good fortune and peace of mind of her becoming a resident of The Springs at Anna Maria. It is a beautiful, well-run facility with a caring and conscientious staff. There is a nice range of apartments available, from 2-bedroom down to an efficiency. With the availability of meals and the weekly housekeeping, it is akin to being on vacation or at a resort. As Mom’s health situation changed, we were able to move her from independent living to the assisted living portion of the facility. With this move, she was able to get help with daily activities, including the administration of medications, while maintaining contact with and enjoying meals with the friends she had already made. Mom continued to take walks on her own and it was comforting to know that the staff at the front desk kept an eye on when she left the building and returned. As her health needs increased, Anna Maria coordinated with us to adjust her level of care to ensure her continued comfort and safety. Our mother was there through two significant health/safety events and I was duly impressed by the management’s actions for both. The coronavirus pandemic hit multi-unit living facilities quite hard. Anna Maria made what I assume were difficult, but necessary decisions to protect the residents. Visits to the facility and gatherings of residents were curtailed at times when transmission was high and staff, residents, and visitors were required to wear masks when in common areas. From my perspective, the result was few instances of covid-19 and no rampant outbreaks among the residents. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, there was a terrible fire that spread from Ashland towards Medford. The fire had destroyed large portions of Talent and Phoenix and was approaching the end of Medford where Anna Maria is located. Residents in the assisted living portion of Anna Maria were moved to a sister facility that was further away from the fire and the Anna Maria staff worked round the clock to make the transfer. Thankfully, the fire never reached Anna Maria. Thank you to all of the management and staff at Anna Maria.

What a wonderful place to call home. This was especially true for my father in-law (Jack) and his partner (Nancy) when they could no longer manage the upkeep of their home. Our mother lived in independent living at Anna Maria for a little over 3 years. After touring several senior living communities in the area we knew Anna Maria would be a perfect fit for her. From the move-in process to getting her settled in, the entire staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The friendly and professional team at Anna Maria care about the residents. They did a fantastic job at protecting their senior residents during the pandemic, while communicating their safety protocols with family. Located in a nice residential area, our mother especially loved the mountain views from her apartment and the lovely interior courtyard. Anna Maria feels classy, tasteful, and is very clean. There are plenty of fun activities for the residents along with many opportunities to socialize. If we hadn't moved out of state our mother would still be living there!

After her husband passed away, my aunt moved to The Springs at Anna Maria about 15 years ago from Maine to be near her brother and sister and their families who lived in Medford. After her brother and sister and many members of the families either passed on or moved away, she has stayed on at Anna Maria making lifelong friends with the other residents and members of the staff. She enjoys being able to have a pet in her room, attending church services and bible studies, attending the constant social activities, playing cards with friends several times a week, having her hair done, going to the dining room for lunch and dinner. Even during the pandemic, her life at Anna Maria is beautiful as she can see the courtyard and gardens from her living room and is constantly surrounded by loving friends new and old and loves the staff members. Everyone is so nice and lovely and I’m so happy she has her beautiful life and friends at Anna Maria. Thank you so much to Anna Maria.

My mother happily called Anna Maria home for 14 years! Originally residing in independent living, she transitioned to assisted living the last two years of her life. While the facility is lovely, well maintained, and offers many activities, the staff is their overwhelming strength - they truly CARE about their residents! Each staff member (maintenance, servers, caregivers and management) makes the effort to become well acquainted with each resident, allowing for personalized greetings and conversations, along with monitoring of the resident's well-being. I lived here with my mom for 10 months before she passed away from natural causes at the age of 98. She and Dad had moved here about 10 years ago when they were ready to give up the care and maintenance of a house and yard. When dad passed away a year later, we were so glad that mom had a place to live that was safe and comfortable, where she had friends and activities to keep her entertained. We would often join her there for holiday meals. When I lived there briefly, I especially enjoyed the sound of the courtyard river and the beautiful dogwood trees in the spring. Mom enjoyed eating cherry tomatoes that we grew in the raised garden beds during the summer. It was challenging during the pandemic, but the staff did an exceptional job of balancing safety protocols and the need for socialization and activities. In my opinion, Anna Maria is a great choice if you are looking for a retirement residence in Medford.

You enter in to a warm and welcoming lobby and are greeted by friendly staff . The building and grounds are well tended. There were many fun activities and outings offered, prior to Covid, and many activities are being safely reintroduced. The safety and well being of the residents is of utmost importance. Lots of opportunities to socialize. The staff is very friendly and caring, and call every resident by name. The Director and her staff are always accessible and keep residents and families well informed of events, policies, routines etc.

Anna Maria is the home of my MIL. Throughout Covid, the staff and the entire company have gone above and beyond in caring for everyone that lives there. It is a beautiful, well-kept and modern place to live. The staff are wonderful and encourage all the residents to give feedback and input into the daily programs and meal service. I have been to dinner numerous times with my MIL before Covid and the staff was friendly and the food delicious. I highly recommend living or even working there!

I recently helped my parents to become residents at The Springs at Anna Maria. The guidance and assistance my parents and I received significantly exceeded our expectations. Marina Sommer, the Director of Community Relations, responded to my many calls, provided detailed, well-informed information, and anticipated numerous accommodations. Especially impressive was the day of our first visit to The Springs at Anna Maria, to take a tour of the residence. Marina and Collette, the receptionist, welcomed all of us by name and with a smile. As we looked around the main lobby, every resident who passed by was greeted by a staff member in a similar manner, and asked a question which indicated a personal knowledge of the resident. My immediate impression was that the residents were part of a large and caring family. In addition to this warm and welcoming environment, the facilities indicated a dedicated maintenance staff; every room, such as the dinning hall, the interior grounds, and every hallway, were well maintained, clean, and furnished in a refined manner. The actual residence was clean, spacious, and of a format which facilitated ease of movement. My parents have are now members of this wonderful family, a place in which they are protected and cherished.

We recently moved our mother into The Springs. The transition from her home to the Springs was incredible. We had met Margaret two year ago, which made our move easier. Margaret and Angelo made us feel right at home. The moving company catered to all of our needs. They were very caring and efficient. The meals are out of this world. The Chef and his staff do a fantastic job. We are very happy with all the accommodations here at The Springs. The staff goes above and beyond to help in anyway that they can. We have a piece of mind now that our mother is here at the facility.
