Sunrise of Madison is a cozy & quaint, assisted-living facility, nestled beautifully, offset from the road in the heart of the sweet town of Madison. Upon visiting here, you will often find residents and families hanging out in the common areas together. You are always greeted by the lovely staff and happy residents. A testament to a great community is not only how kind & caring the staff is, but how happy the people that live here are. From Robert in administration, Amanda and Jordan in admissions, Lily in nursing, and Jessie and his activities team, they all work so diligently and efficiently together to provide the highest quality of care. Everyone who comes here is always met with kindness and immediately can feel how much they care about the people in this community.

Great big mansion on lovely grounds in a terrific town. Updating apartments all the time and homey atmosphere. Everyone is friendly to a point of family feeling.

One of my favorite assisted living buildings by far. I have been in health care a long time. The staff at Sunrise Madison has always been warm and inviting. The building is small and quaint and can fit the care needs of any senior. The fire place that sits to the left gives a warm and inviting appeal. To the right there is an always bustling cafe. Jesse the activities director sells this place on his own with new exciting activities he provides with positive energy and a smile. You can tell he loves to work with seniors every day. The memory unit is one of my favorites in the industry, it’s warm and bright. The staff appears to love working there. I love the state of the art sensory walls and memory stations. The receptionist is welcoming and accommodating. If you have questions for sales Justin is always ready to help. Upstairs the nursing team works hard to accommodate everyone’s care needs. I would recommend this facility to a friend or my own parents.

My mother has been very happy at Sunrise of Madison since her arrival over 4 years ago. Thanks to a very kind and talented activities director, Jessie, my mother has been happy to join activities and engage with the other residents. More recently, Sunrise has added a second position in activities, giving Jessie an extra hand and having an activity person 7 days of the week. Thanks to Amy, my mother now feels an extra level of care and one on one attention that has been so meaningful for both me and my mother. She makes daily visits to the residents and engages personally to offer an ear, a laugh or a conversation. She has been a valuable addition to the team of caregivers, giving of her personal time and attention. Last week, for my mother’s birthday, she used her own lunch hour to eat with my mother in my absence. She has truly made a difference in my mother’s life! Presently, there is an excellent team of receptionists who know the residents by name and provide extra help and conversation to everyone. It is this special kind of attention that makes Sunrise a very caring environment.

My dad has been at Sunrise in Madison for several weeks now, and we are so happy that we seem to have found a truly perfect place for him. The facility is absolutely beautiful, and his 1 bedroom unit is bright and airy. The food is really good -- something that was quite important to my father! But best of all is the staff -- everyone working there is engaging, interested in the residents, kind, and caring. I can't say enough good things about them! On top of that, on the rare occasion that something doesn't go quite right, it's rectified immediately. We are truly completely satisfied with the choice to move Dad to Sunrise.

When a loved one is diagnosed with Dementia.. you know the hardest step will be when you have to move them into a memory care home. You look to find the safest, cleanest, best staff to resident ratio for more attentive care and support, with a comforting environment knowing you are putting them into the hands of others to care for them on a daily basis. This step is extremely emotional for everyone involved. Sunrise of Madison has been a great fit for our family member.. the facility is beautiful, well taken care off, the grounds are lovely and allow resident to sit in rocking chairs on the front porches, there is nice variety of activities, and most important the staff has been great. For us, Jelani Lee, the Reminiscence Coordinator, has been incredible in every way. He has been instrumental in the transition for my father, has helped with every aspect of moving in, responds to emails and phone calls in a timely manner, is always pleasant and is a comfort knowing there is a point person to help with any communication as needed. We thank you Jelani and appreciate you... and all the staff at Sunrise of Madison!

My father has been at Sunrise of Madison for several months now and our initial experience has been quite positive. This is our family's first experience with any sort of assisted living so, you can imagine that the transition was quite difficult. The staff at Sunrise has done a terrific job of making that transition as smooth as possible. They are very responsive to any questions/concerns that we have. And most importantly, my father seems comfortable and happy. The facility/grounds at Sunrise of Madison are beautiful and well-located close to highways, hospitals, and the town of Madison NJ.

we recently had a very difficult time with my mother - she was only here for a brief time in hospice care. the staff treated her and my family with the upmost care. my father recently moved in and has adjusted well. so far the staff are very courteous and welcoming towards him.

A WONDERFUL home for those looking for sincere care and understanding for their loved ones. I have never felt so confident in anyone besides actual family that wanted to do the right thing for my adopted Mom. She was a special lady and everyone treated her as such over the 3 years she was at Sunrise. They loved her and showed her that love til she recently passed.

Sunrise of Madison has been a gift of comfort to my Mom and family since August 2018. From day one Sunrise Care Managers, Assisted Living Coordinator, Resident Care Director and Activities Coordinator were welcoming and helped my Mom transition to her new home. Over time they learned my Mom's personal care history and proved her with sense of belonging, love and laughter along the way. During Covid my Mom had to be moved down to Reminiscence Community when we was not able to go in . This terrified me thinking at 98 how would she adjust. Jelani, Reminiscence Coordinator along with Nadine, Assisted Living Coordinator did an amazing job ensuring my Mom was comfortable in her new room and environment. I was so concerned but Jelani & Nadine and Nancy, Resident Care Director stayed in constant contact with me which gave me great comfort. The coordination within Sunrise was wonderful. Luckily my Mom is a joyful person so the caring staff once again welcomed her and knew the needs of an elderly person which help with my Mom transition. As our loved ones age we want to provide a safe, caring and engaging environment. The Enrichment Coordinator and Care Managers do a wonderful job getting residents engaged to the best of their ability at these tender ages. To be noted during Covid when those days were hard for the staff on a personal level they continued to go above and beyond to be sure my Mom was feeling loved and secure. Grateful for the FaceTime days! Also, to be noted open communications or concerns have always been addressed in a professional and caring way. We all have a choice where our loved ones are and my family and I are happy for Sunrise of Madison. Bravo !

I have had a family member at Sunrise in Madison's Memory Care (Rminescance) for almost two years, and I can highly recommend Sunrise Madison. I toured Sunrise Multiple times before we moved our family member in. The facility is clean, pleasant, and well maintained. The staff is always accommodating and helpful and is very caring. I like the location close to Morristown and Madison, plus it is surrounded by the old Bayley Ellard High School property. I looked at five other facilities and am very happy we chose Sunrise in Madison.
