My dad and I were very impressed when we visited The Rosewood. We are doing some research for future assisted living while he continues to live with us in our home. Cortney was so caring and kind as she gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. Rhonda was amazing as she came out to our house to assess and go over more details of my dad’s life. The Rosewood is beautiful and clean and very welcoming. Thank you for a good experience!

My mother - in - is very happy with the is facility. We had her at two different Life Care facilities and paying full price found them lacking in service and she wasn't happy. Here she is happy with staff and feels she has freedom with some of her own furniture and we know they keep a watchful eyes on her at all time. With us being only 5-10 minutes away and drop in at odd times, she is being taken very good care of.

I visit a 101 year-old friend every week at Rosewood in Fort Oglethorpe. From the moment I walk through the lobby door, I am greeted with friendly smiles and a warm-hearted "Welcome to Rosewood". I am always impressed with the quality care that my friend receives from the staff. These workers are sincerely compassionate and very attentive to my friend's needs. Oh, and I must say, I schedule my visits in between the many offered activities that my friend likes to partake in at Rosewood!

My mom (Ms. Pat) has been living at Rosewood since Sept, and she is loving it. I have not seen her this happy in a while. The staff are exceptional, with her top ones, Monica, Dawson, and TJ. They have made her feel extra special and she just lights up when talking about them. She has told me about she feels needed again, and that is something I was afraid she was loosing after moving in. Her friends that she is making there are all she talks about. If you are looking for a safe, comfortable, and loving place for your loved ones, Rosewood is definitely the place for them.

My dad moved to Rosewood in the middle of December 2025. Since living there I have noticed a positive change in his mental and emotional health. He enjoys spending time with his new friends in the dining room and participating in many of the other activities there. The caregivers who take care of him do a great job and always make him feel special. The family has been very pleased with his care and the facilities...highly recommend Rosewood.

Our mom (Betty) joined the rosewood family 12/28/24. A real adjustment for her,. always being in charge of her own home. . The staff welcomed her , always addressing her by name. It is very clean facility and feels like home anywhere you are inside and outside . The courtyards are beautiful. I have eaten several times with her and rosewood always serves a great hot nutrition filled plate.. I can go on and on , it’s just a great peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands. We toured several places to make a decision when Mom decided a change was necessary. I had done a lot of research and had my lists, etc but Mom, after visiting Rosewood, told me she just knew that she could be happy here. She was right. Rosewood is very clean and the food is good with a lot of variety. There are a number of daily activities that she enjoys. But the most important aspect of Rosewood is its hard-working, dedicated staff. They have embraced her as if she were family. Her well-being - physically, mentally, socially - are always at the forefront of their interactions with her. And from what I have observed, that same attentive care is the norm for Rosewood residents not the exception. Though she has only been there a relatively short time, Mom feels at home and for that I am deeply grateful.

I had the pleasure of touring The Rosewood at Fort Oglethorpe today, and it was truly one of the best senior living tours I’ve been on! Emily, the Community Relations Manager, did a phenomenal job showing me around and highlighting everything the community has to offer. I was especially impressed by how engaged and happy the residents were, and how immaculately clean the entire facility was ” major props to the housekeeping team for their hard work! My Mom has lived at Rosewood for over 2 years - both in assisted and memory care. It’s a wonderful place that encourages and welcomes family involvement. Never fun to have to put a loved one in a home, but feel very comfortable that she’s well taken care of and loved.

My mother-in-law moved to Rosewood from another facility about two months ago. We have been thrilled with the change. She is in independent living at this point, but we expect that will change in the coming months or years. It is a comfort to know she will not need to move again in order to receive the care she needs for her situation. The facility is nice and very clean. Even though she is independent, the staff checks on her and helps her order her meals 2-3 times a day. When she had a day of confusion, they were quick to call us so we could go talk to her and reassure her. She likes the food and enjoys eating meals with her new friends. Housekeeping is great at cleaning her apartment and doing her laundry. It is not inexpensive; however, it is reasonably priced for the location, service, quality of care, and condition of the facility. Also, it is less expensive than her previous retirement home across the state line that wasn’t nearly as nice and where she had no help from the staff. She loves Rosewood, and we could not be happier to have her there and closer to us.

There isn't a great variety of food for the residents. I saw there was creamed potatoes at least 3 to 4 times a week. You served Fried Steak, Fried Chicken & lots of frozen veggies and rice, no fresh veggies, to much fried food and never any vanilla ice-cream on request. I ear lots of the residents complain about the food.

My dad entered Rosewood at the beginning of summer. The administration and staff were very professional. All my questions were answered and answered in a timely manner. The atmosphere is very friendly and the facility has always been clean and well kept when I visit. My dad loves his nurses and those caring for him. When he needs something the response time is very quick. Communication with our family about our dad has been wonderful. I would recommend Rosewood to any family needing help with the care of a family member.

My grandmother moved in towards the end of April and she could not be happier there. She has been happier when we visit, as well as saying she feels like she was put there for a reason.. She brags about the staff being sweet and all the good food she is having. Our experience with meeting and applying was also very smooth and easy going.

I lived with my husband who had midstage Alzheimer’s disease when we moved in the last week of May 2024. Being with him 24/7 for the past 11 months before his death with a heart attack, I want to share that this is the place I want to die also. Is Rosewood perfect? No. Do they do Everything possible to try to be perfect? Absolutely!! I never addressed an issue that wasn’t resolved to my satisfaction. The staff and facility is the best!!! Even though I moved out after Ernie went to Jesus, I still feel like a family member there. God Bless Rosewood and all the precious lives you make better! I love you all. Debbie Davis

Couldn’t be happier with the staff. Activities Monday through Friday. My mother loves going on sunshine tours. She feels safe. Her apartment is great. She likes the food. Help is a push button away. Nursing staff is always checking on her.

Very happy to write this review I recently have had to deal with a parent with dementia and I have to say out of all the places I contacted I was the most impressed with Rosewood and the staff there. They were very understanding about our circumstances and went out of their way to help us during a very trying time. I love each and every one they have been wonderful to me and my father. Very hard to make good decisions when faced with a loved one with this disease and they did everything they could to make those hard decisions easier for me. I would absolutely recommend this place whether you need memory care or just looking for retirement home. Thanks Rosewood

My mom was in memory care at Rosewood for almost a year until her passing last week. She received excellent care and I was so pleased with how attentive the staff was. Also, her room was always neat and clean, bed always made, and nothing ever came up missing. My only regret was that I didn’t move her here sooner!

What a caring, skilled team of exceptional staff members at Rosewood! Means so much to my husband and I to see his mom so well taken care of. Her hair looks great and I loved that her eye brows were tinted as well. Nails look fab and I heard she had a visit from podiatrist. Thank you so very much for taking such good care of her! The caregivers are wonderful. Very kind and always willing to help. Maintenance has gotten extremely slow. The food has changed. When my mother first came they used real plates and silverware now it’s paper and plastic . Portions has been reduced with little or no diversity in the weekly menu. Almost like they’ve had a budget cut that’s limited meals to a lot of sandwiches and soups and always without condiments. Bread and meat makes for dry sandwich. There does seem to be slightly above average turnover in employees. Nursing and aides rock as well as physical therapy. Hoping they get a bus driver hired soon. It’s created hardships for the people that relay on it.
