My name is Nancy Day. My husband Rick was in the Memory Care Unit for 8 months. He loved being in Morada Friendswood. Rick loved people and when he walked out of his room there was a host of people that were his friends. Whether patient or worker he was loved by all. Those that saw to his well-being went above and beyond their responsibilities. It was amazing to watch them work as a team as they aided those in their care. Allowing each one to have the best quality of life no matter what their disability was that brought them to Morada Friendswood. I loved seeing everyone so Happy when I came to visit Rick. Staff and Residents alike were friendly and cared about not only Rick but how I was also.

I would like to give Carla and her staff , five stars! I was there earlier this morning to do an activity with the residents in memory care. Carla and her staff were right there to help me! The residents were well taken care of . Well hydrated. Well fed. They were also very happy! Thank you for having me . I enjoyed seeing everyone smiling and having a great time. The lady at the front desk. I need to remember her name, she is always so nice. Also Andy the wellness director is doing an amazing job. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

I can't say enough positive things about the care my Dad has received in Morada's Memory Care Community. Carla, Mary and Helena and the rest of the Memory Care Staff have been so kind, compassionate and helpful yet also very professional. They definitely go above and beyond. I am always greeted by name with a smile every time I visit. Everything is very clean and well organized. Theresa is the best with hair cuts and grooming and so patient and kind. It is such a comfort when you are trusting the care of a loved one to others you don't know. They are like family to us and we appreciate them greatly. Highly recommend Morada Memory Care!

My grandmother lived in assisted living here and eventually transferred to memory care. I can’t say enough about how helpful the staff has been throughout her time here. From the quality of the food to the constant smiles and warm welcomes, every aspect of her care has been wonderful. The staff is not only professional but also compassionate, making her feel at home. We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care she’s receiving.

I would like to thank the girls that work there for all the time dedicated to take care of the residents. Thank you for making sure day in and out the residents feel safe, heard, well taken care of, fed! Bigger shout out to Sam and Alicia! The atmosphere there is great. Nothing but smiles from the residents (depending on their mood of the day ) and the workers! I see a lot of teamwork and it just makes the atmosphere so enjoyable!

I have a loved one who lives in Morada, and I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful community. Every time I visit, I'm always greeted warmly by the residents sitting in the rocking chairs in the front and the staff is always very welcoming! The atmosphere is all around very comfortable and homey. If you're looking for a supportive environment for yourself or a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend Morada.

The food service has really declined since my mother moved into Morada Friendswood in April. No choice in food and at nights maybe a cold sandwich at best. Everyone has been complaining for two months to no avail. They need new food management to take better care of the residents. Food is a major component to their care but at this time be very concerned to move one of your family members into this facility.

The Morada Friendswood Assisted living facility provided a supportive and caring environment for my Father. They offered assistance with his daily activities, they personalized care plans specifically for his needs and also had a range of amenities to enhance the residents' quality of life. It's a wonderful option for anyone who is looking for a place for their loved ones. At the Morada they value independence but always help where needed. The staff goes above and beyond and I couldn’t be more grateful!

I toured this community looking for a place for my mom. We are in the early stages of looking but we were both impressed. We toured several other communities but this one truly stood out from the cleanliness of the building to the friendliness of the staff. When we are ready, we will be back.

If you need to move someone out of their home, and into their next home, then consider Morada Friendswood. It was with a very heavy heart we needed to, and since early this year, my Dad has done well in the Memory care unit. Is it perfect? No, but I only consider perfect would be my care at his house. However, the staff, from Angela, the Exec Director to Carla, the Memory Care Dir on down to the magnificent staff in Memory Care have helped me each step of this difficult journey. Doors and ears are always open and avail. for a concern or suggestion for doing something different! Daddy enjoys the new activities and I’m seeing those increase as Covid is lifting! My criteria was loving, safe, comfortable care, and they have met those with flying colors. On the one or so areas that might need a lil additional work, I am expecting nothing less than this group making it happen. 5 Stars + Morada Friendswood

In that time she’s had loving care & we feel assured that she’s completely safe & are notified in a timely manner when she’s had falls. You can tell the staff truly care about the residents. I recently looked at the Morada assisted living complex in Friendswood to place my 90 year old mother and feel comfortable with the employees and her getting what she needs. After meeting with the director and walking though the building, I feel very good about this establishment. My mother would feel good here too.

If your loved ones are unable to be at home alone this is a wonderful place for them to live. They still fell like they are independent, but the staff are watchful, helpful and treat the residents like they are family. The activities are are fun and interactive. The meals are served either in their rooms if they prefer or in a dining room that feels like a first class resturant. I have seen and experienced this first hand. We moved my Mom into the independent living at Morada Friendswood and she LOVES it. I don't think I have ever seen her happier. She tells me the staff are always so friendly to her. She stays busy all the time with their fun activities and she is even doing exercise classes twice a day. I couldn't get her to do it twice a week. She has enjoyed the food and loves that they listen to her suggestions. I have never seen her so happy.

I am very happy having my Mother here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of activities to keep Mom active from playing bingo to working puzzles, taking them to the store and out to eat lunch. They also have a movie every evening. This is the best place for my Mom to live.

Appears to be a nice facility with Senior Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Good location very close to many stores. Husband and I were very impressed with the entire layout and the many amenities included here. Becky was very friendly, informative and helpful during our meeting and tour.

We recently moved our mother into this community and we couldn’t be more pleased with this decision.This community and their friendly staff have been very accommodating to her. They offer various activities and great food choices to keep her active and engaged. We haven’t seen our mother enjoy herself this much in a long time.

We are very pleased with Atria. My moth in law is a resident. The staff is wonderful. The director and all the staff have been nothing but accommodating and helpful. We toured several places and Atria was warm and felt like a home. The decor is welcoming. The activities manages as an array of activities for the resident. Lastly, the resident assistance are wonderful and friendly and loving. Thank you for taking such good care of my mother in law.

We moved here from another facility. I am in assisted living and my wife needs memory care. The previous place was beautiful, but the care was of a very poor quality. They have had for Directors in four years and the resident turnover was huge. Needing to move, I visited several facilities before deciding on Brookdale in Friendswood. It is a happy place and that sets it apart from the others. Don't expect perfection. We did not have that at home. I give it five stars after comparing it to what I saw out there during my visits to their facilities. They all seemed to cost about the same, but the genuineness of Brookdale takes the top rating.
