My mom was in memory care at the Waterford at Mansfield and she was treated so well. All the staff treated her like she was family. She passed peacefully while I was there. The Nurse and Nurse Aides were so attentive to me and my dad. I remember the Nurse came in to see if she had passed and I felt a hand on my shoulder and quietly the Nurse said I am so sorry, your mom is gone. I remember when I came to see my mom the week before she died, (I live in another state and cant travel all the time) at the Waterford, I went back to the memory care unit with my dad and when I walked in all the staff kept asking me if I could wait a minute they wanted so and so to be there to see her reaction. When I went in and finally seen her she recognized me. Needless to say I choked up. The Waterford not only treated my mom like family, but they treated me and dad the same way. They all treat the residents and their families like they would hope their family members or even themselves would be treated if the shoe was on the other foot. GOD BLESS ALL WATERFORD STAFF AND RESIDENTS!! Thanks for taking such GREAT CARE of my mom.

Our father was in Magnolia Trails at The Waterford. Kylee Kemp, Director, is absolutely amazing. Kylee is obviously there for her clients. She truly cares about what is best for them and she is their biggest cheerleader and advocate when family members are not there. My dad's main aide, Elizabeth was fantastic as well. The nurses were on top of things and cared well for all residents. It was evident the nurses cared. The staff not only talked the talk of caring for our father and advocating for him, but they also walked the walk. Any concern or question our family had, was not only answered within an appropriate amount of time, but the actions taken were in the very best interest of our father. When a concern arose, either my brother or I received a phone call immediately expressing their concern and or question. We never had to question his care. Our experiences with multiple facilities for our father and other family members were not positive ones. Magnolia Trails, Kylee Kemp and her staff enabled us to be confident of the quality of his care during the times we could not be there. Our father was happy, settled and enjoying his days there in Magnolia Trails. Facilities lose their reputations when they make promises of quality care yet do not advocate for their residents or actually follow through with quality care. Magnolia Trails kept their promise of quality care and advocating for our father's best interests.

They are so caring and patient with every one. They keep me informed on what is going on and any needed changes. It gives me piece of mind when I need to leave. It is hard when your loved one does not understand why they are there. I'm pleased with our choice. Of course I would rather have Dave at home, but it is not possible. I can not be on duty 24-7!

This is a wonderful supportive environment. I feel very grateful that my parents are able to live in this community. They have many thoughtful ways of helping the residents keep their individual freedoms but still giving them the assistance they personally require.

New resident: I will be moving in, in about a week. This place is the best of all the ones that I looked at. The most important thing that I noticed was that the people were very friendly and openly greeted me. Other places that I looked at, the people kind of peered at me. I am very excited to move in. It almost feels like Christmas. The place is beautifully decorated. It has the feel of an expensive New York hotel. The rooms have all the appliances including a four burner stove. The rooms are very large and well lit. They are also very affordable. I looked at others that cost more but offered much less. I want to give the staff caring for the residents and those maintaining the facility special recognition for their hard work and effort. I feel in general the staff at the waterford are caring and strive to make the lives of the residents as comfortable as possible. As far as the facility itself I think the flooring needs addressed. I am in hopes that they will change out the old carpets and replace with something more sanitary and durable considering the use that it gets. Overall I feel my concerns are always addressed and my experience is positive. Thank you again for all the hard work!

On our first visit with our friend who lives here, we found The Waterford at Mansfield to be a lovely, welcoming residence. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The lobby, dining room and activity room looked comfortable, nicely decorated and inviting.

So pleased with the care and compassion and involvement for my husband and that they keep me informed. The above is still true, but with the increase in residents, it is my opinion that they need to increase the staff. It is a long distance from one end to the other. There are some residents that need more attention than others and they do a great job with them, but it takes a lot of their time. It is just my observation by spending time with my husband. I do appreciate the care that he gets. Thanks for the fix on the door to the patio. So Magnolia residents can come in and out on their own. Much safer for them in my humble opinion.

Nothing is good during a pandemic, but the Waterford makes it bearable. You have an apartment you can decorate to your taste. The staff feeds you well and they take good care of us. We have weekly cleaning services. It doesnt get much better.

My father has been a resident of the Waterford for the past five years. The apartments here are larger than they are at most facilities, but still very easy for a Senior to maneuver around. The staff is very friendly and gets to know each resident personally. The dining hall is my fathers favorite. Its beautiful, and he orders off of a menu that changes daily.

Ive worked here at The Waterford for 5 months now. The residents are great, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is high quality, and there is a great team atmosphere. The staff here goes the extra mile on a consistent basis for each other and the residents here. Strong and supportive leadership, the facility is always clean, the residents rooms are always clean, and its a great place to work and for seniors to live.

My parents have lived there for 3 months now and are much happier than they were with their prior independent living arrangements. They continuously brag about the caring, kind staff and delicious food. They enjoy the daily interaction with staff and other residents, with whom theyve made several good friends. Knowing they are in such good hands has taken a load off my shoulders. My experience has been great too as all of the staff has been very helpful each time Ive called with questions. I would definitely recommend the Waterford to anyone looking for senior living.

As a resident here, they take good care of us. I especially appreciate the means they took to keep us safe from Covid, we had very low incidents. We didnt like being quarantined but understood it was necessary. The staff is always polite, friendly, and courteous to us.

The Waterford has recently had beneficial changes in the leadership team. I am the Wellness Director and have been back home for 1.5 years (I was the Care Coordinator from 15-17). I cannot imagine serving residents at any other community. I look forward to everyday with our residents and employee team. Our food is great! Our activities are great! Our residents are the BEST!

The Waterford at Mansfield is a beautiful community with the most caring and loving staff around. We absolutely loved the large apartments, the clean and bright halls and the amazing staff that were full of smiles. Activities were in abundance and the food was incredible. I would highly recommend this community to everyone around. There has been many change this past year and every single one has been for the positive. The staff is so kind and friendly and truly enjoy what they do. My family has been so pleased with this 5 star community.

My mother has lived at The Waterford for 2 1/2 years and we could not be more pleased. When it became apparent that it was time to move Mom from her home of 50+ years making the decision on an assisted living was one of the most difficult of our lives. The staff of The Waterford made everything about this transition so smooth and pleasant for Mom and us kids. Questions and concerns are addressed and resolved promptly and professionally. I truly see every day that the staff care for the residents as if caring for their own family.

Mom lived here from March 2015 until her death in July 2016. Like most seniors she'd rather have been living independently in her own home... She THRIVED here and I had the piece of mind knowing she was well taken care of. The nursing staff and aids treated her with respect and kindness -- always knowledgeable and responsive to my questions and her needs. I ate with her numerous times a month, the food and service were good. Overall, the management and staff were excellent and I highly recommend this facility to anyone.

My mother has lived here several years now and the food is going downhill.one recent visit they had split pea soup and it was a bowl of water with canned peas floating in it.their burgers used to be really good now they look like a paper thin sausage party.just today went down for Christmas lunch they had prime rib that sounded good but it was really think and tough as show leather could not eat it.the staff all seem really nice and friendly but they really need to improve the meals for as much as they charge the residents.these are our parents and grandparents living in these places and deserve to be treated better.
