Spring Haven is an exceptional place. When I first went into the facility to talk with them about an apartment for my wife, I was taken aback by every single person I either met or observed. Regardless of their position, everyone working there treats each resident as if they are the most important person they know. It was heartwarming to watch all the interactions between residents and the staff. I knew immediately that this would be THE place for my wife, and she agreed. The residents have a wonderful selection of activities in which they can join. And the food… all I can say is it is outstanding.

My Nana lives here and I'm beyond pleased with the in's and out's of it. Every single staff member I've interacted with is exceptionally polite and thorough. Kindness and patience are in excess here and the whole place is very clean. Honorable mention is the maintenance employee Felix; exceptionally polite, competent, and reliable. I live over an hour away from my Nana and I feel so much better knowing there are accountable people involved in her care and apartment maintenance.

Emergency pulls work but staff are NOT responsive. Over an hour waiting still no response. If you complain your loved one will be threatened with eviction. I instead purchased the safety monitor; a fall detector with GPS monitoring with a two way communication devise, to assure my mothers safety.

My brother lived here for 5 years before he passed away 2 mos ago. I was comforted knowing he was supremely happy there. I have never experienced such caring staff and happy residents in the many senior living establishments I've visited over the years.

Nice place good care but, terrible management , been trying to talk to billing for a month now, No phone calls returned. Bank has now closed my mothers checking account for insufficient funds due to home taking out a thousand more then suppose too!! If only someone would return my calls!!!!

As usual, the check-in desk personnel were pleasant...I enjoy them. I noticed the drive in was better today, as some of the potholes have been repaired for the time being. I just hope that the Residents' Dining Room will soon be back up and running. My cousin never came down for all meals...but he did go down for some. He was just starting to meet some people...now until that issue is solved...his socialization has been severely curtailed...and this particular challenge has been going on since IAN...he's only been a resident since August. Unfortunately, I cannot be there regularly, more than once a week, as I have also have demands on my time that I cannot neglect. The POTHOLES were a very good start, though!

My Mother and I visited Spring Haven in September looking for a place for mom to move to. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the apparent satisfaction of the residents. We had a lunch tour and mom really enjoyed the food. We are looking forward to mom moving in soon. I would love to give them five stars once Mom moves in and is able to thoroughly enjoy the facilities.

I was positively impressed with the staff at SH. That worked well under pressure through Hurricane Ian, keeping the safety and best interests of the residents in mind. If I were to change anything, it would involve the age and condition of the building. Thank you for providing a comfortable and safe place for my parents to live and receive care.

When I walked in receptionist had his mask protecting his chin, and 4 residence sitting just inside the door none had mask on. If it states on the door mandatory mask make it mandatory otherwise take the sign down. My mother and I are mask wearers but you cannot, as a healthcare facility say mandatory and not hold all accountable.

We have a loved one in Spring Haven and I so have to sing the praises of Sherry the activities director for the assisted living . Sherry is such a caring compassionate kind person. The last year has been very hard on the residents and Sherry made their days without family a whole lot brighter. .we can not thank her enough..she is such a special lady...

My sister and I took a lunch tour of the Memory Unit at Spring Lake. The setting on the lake with the pool and hot tub were very nice. Some residents even have families that take them on boat rides on the lake. Food was delicious and upscale not the typical institutional food served. Totally unexpected but the best part of the tour was visiting the Memory Care Unit. The large staff in the unit are amazing. We could not believe that there was a cap of 30 residents allowing so much individual attention. Activities were appropriate and residents were busy participating in them both inside and outside. The staff is bubbly and love their jobs. It is a very happy environment. Unbelievable, actually. We have visited other Memory Units in the area with a much smaller staff, unpleasant odors and large numbers of sad looking patients in a large room, unengaged, just sitting and staring while an aid stands in the corner watching over them with her arms folded. This is totally opposite to what you will find at the Memory Unit at Spring Haven. Residents are loved and thrive. Even though the building is a little older, the caring staff, delicious food, pretty location, reasonable prices and well-run programs make it a great place.
