I had both my father, who required dementia care, and my mother, who went from assisted living to independent living, at Harmony at Southridge Center. It is a beautiful facility. While there is room for improvement, I found many wonderful staff members and caregivers there who genuinely care for the residents. They made my father's stay and subsequent passing more bearable, and I am grateful for the care he received.

What a great experience we’ve had so far with Harmony at Southridge. My mom and dad, ages 89 and 91, recently decided it was time to move into an independent living community, and the entire process has been much easier than we expected. Trina has been absolutely incredible throughout the process. She has been patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and never made us feel pressured. She truly understands what families are going through when making such an important life decision, and that has meant a great deal to us. The community itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with friendly residents and staff. It has the appearance and feel of a beautiful hotel, making it a place where you immediately feel comfortable and at home. We’ll be moving my parents in this week, and based on everything we’ve experienced so far, we couldn’t be happier with our decision. If you’re considering independent living for a loved one, I highly recommend Harmony at Southridge. Their caring approach, outstanding staff, and low-pressure process have made what could have been a stressful transition into a very positive experience.

My mom has been at Harmony of Southridge for a year. Recently her oven wasn’t working like it should. After having someone to check it twice they decided to get her a new one. A few days ago they delivered and installed a filthy used stove which took me 2 hrs to clean. I have complained and asked 3 different times to speak with someone. They messaged the maintenance supervisor to speak with me but he never came to the apartment. Also, I would say that the carpet in her apartment is the original and cheap because when I run her sweeper the only thing coming up is a canister full of carpet fibers. I was also disappointed that they didn’t keep the sidewalks cleaned during the snow and ice storm this year which was very dangerous for my mom to walk on when she would take her dog out the use the bathroom (yard is always disgusting of dog poop even though everyone is supposed to clean up after their dogs). These are just a few recent problems. I feel that they don’t mind taking your rent money (which raises too much every yr) but they don’t want to spend money on fixing things and maintaining the apartments and the facility.

Every time we are there to visit it is clean, welcoming, and the staff is wonderful. The new changes in management have made a WORLD of difference...quickly! The new chef has turned the food around completely. Now meals are wonderful, and they listen to the resident requests for meals. BIG difference. New nurse manager has worked to get really good nurses in the building, and alot of wonderful aides. I don't have much information about the memory care unit, but I have heard them talking about replacing the carpet and redoing the outdoor area, so that is great. New director seems to have elevated the level of expectation overall back where it should be, and we have seen a huge positive impact. The bar is set where it belongs, and they are meeting and exceeding!

My Aunt Carol and I toured Harmony on 2/17/2025. The drive and secluded location of the facility is beautiful. Upon arriving to the facility, it was observed to be well aesthetically designed and well maintained. We immediately met with Brandon, Director of Sales and Marketing. He was very personable, professional and very knowledgeable regarding the facility and admitting process. All areas we toured were beautiful. My Aunt Carol and I love the facility and hope to have her in an apartment very soon.

I moved to Harmony in March 2025, and I am so glad I did. I feel right at home here. The residents have been so friendly and helpful. The Maintenace fellow, Tyler has been so helpful in hanging pictures, etc. The front desk has been helping me with all my questions. (Janet and Christy). Trina and Brandon are so helpful too! I'm glad my sons suggested we look at Harmony, I am very happy at Harmony.

I cannot express how happy my father is moving into Harmony at southridge he is only been there a few weeks but everything seems to be working out very good. I have to give a special thank you and in recommendation to Tammy who's in charge of the medical department we had a few special needs for my father that had to be worked out she went over and above trying to help my family. I was in our office at about 4:30 p.m. and we were trying to get a prescription from his doctor and I said well I guess Will be leaving we will have to do it tomorrow and she looked at me replied no honey we're going to get everything done today before I leave we were there for another hour getting things organized so he could come to his new home Tomorrow she went over and above and stay till almost 6:00 I was already in the room straightening things up and she brought down the needed paper I said thank you very much for staying and helping and she replied I'm passionate about all guest here in Harmony at Southridge. I've had a few little other things to get worked out and went to Tammy and helped me 100% I can say the rest of the nursing faculty that she helps manage go over and above all the needs of their guest. My father wanted something as a toothpick and one of the workers went and found him one how much more can you say about a facility and a nursing director that has her workers to help like that. Tammy cut my stress level 75% with her help I live in my father in also it's just about the time of the terrible floods in North Carolina they're actually isn't Harmony assisted living and that area This sustain some damage but no injuries she was on the phone talking to the director saying is there anything I can do to help you That's what kind of thing person you are dealing with trying to help somebody 250 miles down the road and doing her job here at Harmony ay Southridge would recommend the facility for anybody that needs a parent or loved one for assisted living.

My mom is in the memory care unit & almost all the staff are very helpful, they care for the residents. But...there is an administrative problem. There seems to be no communication & this concerns me with the ratings I have read on this page. It seems I'm not the only one who isn't pleased with the memory care unit.

I am continually amazed and impressed by the tenderness, love and sincere affection all of you have shown my father. It is constant, consistent and unwavering. Since coming here, He have been more active than ever before. All the usual advice from the experts’ that He never followed: eat well, sleep well, exercise regularly, socialize and keep active. This advice, that He never took before, He now follows with ease. The staff, everyone from housekeeping to the dining room, the nurse and the care staff have been top notch. They are very good and always willing to help. After receiving an amazing initial tour the admissions process was enjoyable, exciting and simple. We were deciding between three facilities. The other two facilities did not even compare to Harmony at Southridge. I’m so happy with our decision.

My name is Norma and I am a resident at Harmony at Southridge. I love living here without the worries of taking care of a home. I love all of the new friends that I have met here and enjoy the opportunities for exercise, church services and the many other activities we do. I am very blessed! Some of the things I enjoy most are Wednesday evening dinner buffets especially Taco night and the Lasagna is definitely a favorite of mine. Being able to access therapy services onsite has been a great benefit when I injured my shoulder. The staff are doing a great job from the housekeepers to activities staff and the Directors. Highly recommend!

I believe my mother is receiving good care, however, as I am out of state it is very difficult to reach anyone in memory care to see how she is doing or to receive updates. We had great help and communication until the day she moved inthen it was like a black hole. No responses to calls or emails, nurses not having her chart to even know she shouldn’t have sugar, etc. The issues seem to be administrative and not with the nurses or caregivers, as they have been wonderful so far. Would love to give a 5 star review but can’t until those issues are resolved.

Our mother has been a resident of Harmony at Southridge since June of 2021. While her previous facility met some of her basic needs, Harmony programs and staff are over the top! Dad would be so pleased in how well mom is being cared for and enjoying her new friends. I only wish he could have been with her to enjoy the fun! Thanks Harmony. You all are the best!!!!

My mother has been a resident at Harmony Square for four months and has adapted as well as can be expected. The office staff and Harmony Square staff have been very helpful to her with the changes in her life. She is kept busy with activities, crafts, exercise, as well as time to reminisce. We, as a family feel welcome to visit at any time. As with anything, nothing is perfect, but when made aware of any issues the Harmony staff tries to react as soon as they can. I feel comfortable with my mother being a resident at Harmony at Southridge.

My mother has been a resident in Harmony Square for almost four months. I feel she has adjusted as well as can be expected in this situation. She participates and enjoys the activities they offer. Our family is welcome to visit at any time. The office staff as well as the Harmony Square staff are friendly and seem to watch out for the residents safety as best as they can. I don't think any place is perfect, but I do feel that the staff at Harmony is working hard to make their residents their priority. While the decision was difficult to place her, I am comfortable with her being there.

My Mom sold her home and moved in at the beginning of January. The facility and people are wonderful. However, the food is unacceptable. Dinner is included daily with the rent. The chef is horrible and they don't have adequate wait staff. Dinner is a 2 hour ordeal every night. If you get what you ordered, you're lucky. It's alwaus colx! Theres just got to be a mote efficient way.

I was a resident for 5 months. I liked my apartment. All the people there were very helpful, friendly and nice. After being there for a little over a month I give them a required 90 day notice that I was moving out. Why? The food was terrible. It has improved but not nearly enough. I don’t think it will improve to a satisfactory level until they hire a chef that knows how to cook. I would recommend you discuss the situation with present residents before committing. They require you to give a 90 day notice before you can move out. I found there are much better places available at less cost.
