Our daughter attended Lutheran Home Child Care Center from 12 weeks — 2 years and we absolutely adored the center. We only took her out because we moved out of state and we wish we could have brought the daycare with us! Teachers and admin truly care about the children and provide such a nurturing, stimulating environment for them. Thank you, LHCC! We miss you!!!

I was extremely impressed with all of the staff of The Lutheran Home from the receptionists to the nurses, physiotherapists, and even the accounts department. They are genuinely dedicated to caring. My father received excellent nursing and the family were consistently treated with kindness and compassion during a very difficult and stressful time. I would highly recommend this facility.

I cannot stress enough that this care facility is probably THE best in the Milwaukee County Area! And I only say probably because there were a few I wasnt able to visit. My father is recieving wonderful care in his final days. Lutheran home not only cares for the patient. they care for the caregivers, family members and friends. Our family loves the Shepards Flock at Lutheran Home. The staff is extremely kind and professional. Our son started when he was six weeks old and each time hes moved to a different room the transition has been smooth. They offer an amazing curriculum as well as extracurricular activities like soccer and stretch and grow. Their outdoor play area is unparalleled. The intergenerational program is one of the best perks in my opinion. Our son loves all the grandpas and grandmas and its clear the feeling is mutual.

There is no intergenerational programming like the Lutheran Home. Five days a week of Childcare partnering with Memory Care, Adult Day, and Skilled Nursing, co-mingling in events of movies, music entertainment and art - you cant put a price tag on this kind of meaningful engagement and personal growth for a loved one.

I found the facility clean and staffed by people who were friendly and professional. The common areas, where families gather, were comfortable and home-like and the cafe was a nice addition to the regular dining options.

We moved my mom into Mable Rose last fall. We couldn't be more pleased! We were apprehensive about moving mom out of her home. We thought that she would hate "down sizing" to assisted living. She loves it. The staff at MR is absolutely amazing. The care and respect that they show the residents is exceptional. I would give a "shout out" to specific folks who help my mom, but there too many exceptional ones to be able to mention them all. The food is outstanding and the activities are wonderful.

The Lutheran Home is one of the rare organizations that understand the importance of continuum of care. There are multiple services available which allow seniors to age in place. Additionally, there is a fantastic Child Day Care facility which brings meaningful intergenerational activities each day. Being able to witness the power of play between two generations is quite amazing. I couldn't recommend a better facility.

My mother was at Lutheran Home after a bad fall and hospitalization. I can't say enough about how fantastic her care was. The staff was great and the food was much better than other facilities she stayed in. The rehab center is getting a little shabby and, yes, they have shared bathrooms but, all in all, it was a positive experience and I highly recommend them.

I have both a professional and personal relationship with Southview assisted living. Its always a pleasure working with Jenny and Jamie in admissions/liaison. I am confident that my Grandmother is taken care of at Southview. Its always fun visiting her with my son, he gets all the attention from the residents. Such a wonderful place to bring your loved one. Their sister facility Crestview is also a great place.

I am an employee of the Lutheran Home and Harwood Place. As a new employee in the health care setting, I have come to know a few aspects (care, support, services, food, social events, etc.) of being an excellent long-term care facility. Here, it's all really about our residents and then our employees. We take such great pride in providing the utmost care to our residents. I would not hesitate to place a loved one here at the Lutheran Home and Harwood Place.

The Gardens at Barry Road has been an answer to prayer for my family. My mother-in-law relocated to Kansas City after a fall-related injury. She experienced a major transition as she left her home, friends, and everything familiar...literally 1200 miles away! The Gardens was a shining light in that difficult time. The staff are friendly, and they genuinely care for the residents. The transition has been challenging for my family as well as we learn to care for an aging parent. The Gardens has helped us so much through services they offer, but even more so through the wonderful people who have truly become our friends. We are very thankful!

I used the Lutheran Home My Rehab facility. The facility is modern and very nice. The individual rooms for patients are perfect! The staff are all knowledgeable and very pleasant to be with. The food is extremely tasty. The rehab gym equipment were great and staff members are knowledgeable and were very helpful in my recovery for total knee replacement surgery.

My grandmother has been here for rehab 3 times. Twice in the rehab wing, once in the nursing home wing (because they didnt have room in rehab) and our experience has been great each time. Food always looks great in rehab, not quite as good in the nursing home, but still decent. The facility looks and smells clean. She receives the care she needs and the staff always seems friendly. They return my phone calls and follow my requests without complaint. She has never had a problem there. Shared bathrooms in the single unit rooms of the nursing home floor. Small rooms.
