I love living here! The facility is well cared for and the staff are great! The grounds are gorgeous! There are so many activities to engage in internally, including exercise classes, chorus, sing-alongs, book discussion, knitting, card playing, teas and social hours, and in the community, including restaurants, theater, and tours. We are close to grocery stores, bookstores, restaurants, Froedtert Hospital, and parks. I urge people to move in when they are young enough to enjoy it all.

I have worked at Harwood Place for nearly 12 years and am constantly blown away by the compassion and dedication of my co-workers. We earned the honor of being a Journal Sentinel Top Work Place this year, and our dining staff created these amazing cupcakes to celebrate. They are so talented! What has kept me here all these years are the relationships with staff and residents (although cupcakes are in the top 5!). At Harwood we have the luxury of getting to know one another, the residents, and their families. Where you find happy employees, you find happy residents. Harwood is a happy place indeed. You dont need to take my word for it.

Harwood Place was a nice community that we toured. I liked the inside and how it was laid out. I did not like the outside and the nearby surroundings. The staff was friendly and they gave a nice presentation of their community. It was clean and a nice facility.

My dad has lived at Harwood Place for 6 years. He moved up from Florida, and he hates the cold weather in Wisconsin. But he loves Harwood. He rates it a "10 out of 10". We think it's a terrific place to live. It's clean and nice, and the staff treats everyone professionally and warmly.
