At Homestead Living our focus in providing memory care that is safe and worry free in a home like atmosphere that our residents enjoy.
Our senior residents have a variety of choices when it comes to apartments. Our community offers studio, private and semi-private units. Each one has a living area, and private bath. Our staff works hard to maintain our principles and preserve the dignity of our senior residents from Waunakee. We encourage independence and celebrate the independence of our residents. Homestead Living meal plans that are prepared with fresh ingredients daily from specially designed menus. We also offer snacks between meal times. Private dining, family style, cookouts, picnics are all available for every style of meal that could be desired. We can accommodate for nearly every type of diet.

Horrible place, abusive, rude and reporting [name removed] the RN to have her license revoked. Wrongful death lawsuit pending, under investigation by the state, known for hiring drug addicts and claiming has difficultly hiring good people. I have see patients pushed down and yelled at the facility. Owners could care less its all about the money. I have seen items stolen from patients and employees smoking weed in the parking lot. No medical facilities nearby the building is in a business park. They will deny your religious beliefs and you can expect neglect abuse, theft, and financial explotation. Homestead living was where our mom was for a the last year of her life. They provided phenomenal care, love and support for mom and our family. Words can not describe the level of kindness, love, compassion and understanding all of the employees showed every day! Jenni and her staff are exceptional and the food is fantastic. We highly recommend Homestead Living for the care of your loved one.

Homestead Living is small 16-bed Memory Care Facility in Waunakee with all the comforts of home. Staff members are well trained, compassionate and engage with the residents. Staff are also respectful, caring and work as a team. The Activity Director, Carol interacts well with the residents and has a warm smile and friendly personality. She takes the time to discover each resident's interests and finds engaging and creative activities to keep them engaged. Homestead Living provides delicious homemade meals that look appealing and are served warm and fresh. Family members are welcome to join their loved ones for a meal in the dining room where the residents eat together. Although the resident's rooms are small, they are adequate and can be decorated and arranged comfortably to suit the personality and interests of each resident.

What homestead living is so vital and kind. Their work with hospice and attention on their patients is so loving and I will always be grateful to them for what they do.

Homestead runs like a family should run and my mother is treated like a family member. Homestead provides loving care for my mother and I know that the staff really loves my mother the way I love her. They see beyond her dementia and see her as the person she is inside. The staff has the patience and understanding needed to work with dementia and they do a much better job than I would. In fact, I have learned more about dementia just by watching how they work with my mother and the other residents. Would I recommend Homestead Living? Yes, most heartily. I can go about my life, my work and activities, knowing that Homestead is taking care of my mothers life and her needs. They are providing the daily care that she deserves.

My mother is safe and very well cared for. The staff is very caring. The facility is small and home-like. There is a lot of one on one attention. The backyard is very nice. We are always very welcome when we visit.
