We were very happy with everything that the Waterford did for use concerning our father. He had dementia and passed recently. The staff was very helpful and caring. Our dad started in the assisted living building but then had to be moved to the memory care building. They had lots of activities and outings to do in both buildings and encouraged the residents to be involved. Our dad loved going on the outings. When he was moved to memory care, he wasn't able to go on as many outings because his mobility was suffering. The staff kept him involved in as many things as he would like to participate in. When we had any questions regarding his care, they were prompt and helpful. They would also make us aware of any concerns that would arise. It was stressful to pick a hospice group, but Josefina helped us get through it much easier. ALL of the staff were wonderful, and we wouldn't have any second thoughts to have them care for any of our family members.

My parents chose to live in Independent Living and I am very glad they found this safe, comfortable community. Staff has been amazing and they all seem to love their job, which I think is telling about how they will interact with the tenants. Waterford also does not use agency staffing, for which I am grateful. The room sizes are larger than other places we visited. Their pricing is minimally competitive and in some circumstances vastly better than other comparable places. Seems to have undergone some management changes, which has brought about positive change. I do wish they allowed pets, but I understand the rationale in choosing not to do so. I recommend families check this place out before making any final decisions.

I reached out to The Waterford just over a week ago looking for long term care for my mother who just recently had a stroke. There aren't adequate words to express the level of commitment they showed upon learning of my mother's situation. They went above and beyond any normal expectations to be able to accommodate my mother's transfer as quickly as possible. Every staff member we met with was kind, compassionate and extremely supportive. The facility is beautiful and I know my mother will now be in a safe and caring environment. I am beyond thankful for all of the advice given to our family and the care and support shown by Jami and Noah at The Waterford. My family is grateful for their help and my mother is looking forward to enjoying her life at The Waterford.

Waterford is a life line for my hubby Ken. I get to visit daily and I am lucky to do that as some people have no-one to visit them. He enjoys the meals he gets and most of the activities. His caregivers are good to him and he really enjoys talking with them. Sometimes I think he thinks that he is their grandfather. Any way if ever in need of a place for a loved one who needs a little extra help please check out Waterford at 2586 Valley Road, Plymouth. Very well kept place.
