If you’re thinking of moving your loved one to the View at Pine Ridge….run, and run away fast. My mother lived in the memory care wing for almost 7 years. I moved her to another facility for the last 2.5 months of her life so she could be properly cared for and not neglected. The first 5.5 years were wonderful, until a new administrator took over and the care became abysmal. She pretends to listen to concerns, but nothing is done to make improvements. Some of the staff has been very good (especially the day shift)…but, the majority of good ones have left…due to being way over worked, under staffed, let go and/or not appreciated by administration. The turnover of staff is ongoing…the aides, the nurses, cleaning staff, directors, etc. (Two recent directors both left after 3 weeks of being on the job…if that tells you something.) There is a lack of training and knowledge as to how to deal with residents with Alzheimers/dementia in the memory care unit. I am a family member who frequently observed the day-to-day happenings and was very involved with my mother’s care, as well as volunteering to help with activities. Cares were not consistently done, both morning and night, clothing was frequently lost, bed was not regularly changed, and the list goes on. On a positive note, the food is very good and the kitchen staff is wonderful!

I recently have had the opportunity to work with the staff at The View of Pine Ridge, and I am so impressed. Knowledgeable caregivers and RN's who really go above and beyond. The residents are always enjoying a fun activity and making new friends. It's definitely a place you should consider when looking to move your loved one.

Disgruntled employees should not be allowed to write reviews. In my experience, the View at Pine Ridge is a beautiful, caring, like home atmosphere. I can only hope to be fortunate enough to live out my golden years in a great place like this.

Locally owned and operated with a family feel you can't get better than this. Two big reasons this is my favorite place to work. Number one the staff. The team here is phenomenal. It's like a big family and we all know families have their ups and downs, but these care practioners, nurses, and administration staff really care about the people that live and work here. I pinch myself every morning wondering if I really get to be this lucky to be associated with such wonderful people! Number two locally owned and operated. There are no corporate ladders to climb. No tiers of management to oblige. No wait times to make things happen. When a family or staff member needs an answer they get it. When a family or staff member has feedback (good or bad) we are transparent in addressing it and working together to put solutions in place. When we need to do the right thing in the best interest of a resident or employee, we have the ability to do the right thing. The owner is generous with time and money, supporting the greater community. Being privately owned makes us accountable to our residents and staff, not to mention the increased productivity and innovation we achieve as small, local business. I feel blessed to the an employee. I am proud and honored to represent The View at Pine Ridge assisted living and memory care.

The Veiw at Pine Ridge is an outstanding place to call home for loved ones with memory and or assisted living help. My grandparents have recently moved in and they have never had so much socialization before they came here. They are very active with participating in activities and making new friends.
