this is not the place if your loved one is autistic or has any kind of behavior problems. my son was abused by another client , slapped and bit my son on the back and nothing was done. i got a call saying he was discharged from the program at the end of the week for behavior problems. after my son had enough and finally fought back , the other client was never reprimanded, they said he was on a behavior modification program. no warning no calls and they said no one reported the incedent with the other client. this was after i called and left 3 messages that were never returned. the managment at this place leaves a lot to be desired.

My kids love it here. Staff is AMAZING. They have both flourished here because the staff and teachers show them so much love. Always going out of their way to make sure all of my kids needs are met while I am at work. Child care as a profession is under so many stresses in this country and the fact that they make my kids excited to go everyday is a miracle in itself. Please don't listen to the reviewers below who complained about staff with different beliefs. They are allowed to be their own people! It actually makes me feel secure knowing the people taking care of my children are genuine and not afraid to show their beliefs. That is how we foster inclusive communities!

This facility and the wonderful caring staff that supports it should be commended and held in high regard for the outstanding things they do. My Sister in law happens to be a patient of Dr Nausieda for her Parkinson's . He and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Caring exceptionally knowledgeable in the field. No doubt one of the best by far. We come from 80 miles away to seek his care as a testimonial to the care she receives from this group. Thank you for being so generous with your time and expertise.

It is hard to adequately explain the welcoming care and compassion that we experienced at St. Ann Center. My wife's dementia had progressed faster than expected, but the staff worked to give my wife a chance. Sadly, the St. Ann's staff determined they could not safely accommodate her in an unlocked unit. Once the Sheppard House memory unit reopens, we will hopefully return. We extensively researched to find the facility that would best meet my wife's needs and gladly drove 100 miles every day so she could attend St. Ann's. The St. Ann Center is treasure for those in need of care for a loved one.

Like many places, you'll find excellent employees here and some that are not so much. It's not too welcoming when you see the reactions of your loved ones when they see someone wearing a pentagram necklace. It's not so awesome when employees need to argue with you about their beliefs system. It's not great when someone says they are "a survivor of catholic schools". It's not so great. This place could really use a good house cleaning on employees.

I love the intergenerational aspect and the respite care. They were great with my mom and she loved hanging with the kids, playing with the dog and joining in on the sing alongs.
