St. Catherine's Commons- Assisted Living and Memory Care is a beautiful community near the shores of Lake Michigan. Their entire team goes above and beyond to provide compassionate care to their residents and families. I also love how St. Catherine's is involved with multiple events in Kenosha, WI (Annual Chili Cook Off, Pops Concerts by the lake, and so much more!)- it's such thoughtful way to keep their residents engaged and involved with the broader community. If you are looking for care for your loved one, I would recommend starting with St. Catherine's.

Everyone has been very helpful getting my mom moved to assisted living. She was previously in independent living. Now she has better care and help with life. Maria made a big impact on helping mom feel comfortable moving. Ann was an angel and helped mom in independent living. I can’t tell you how much better we feel knowing mom is safe. I believe she enjoys her neighbors and friends too.

Casa del Mare is a beautiful facility with a very friendly and caring staff. Communication is excellent with the nurses and Leah, the director. I moved my mom here from Chicago (2.5 years ago) where she had lived for 60 years in her home. Maria was so easy to work with as there were hiccups on my end with my mom along the way. Maria was so understanding! Of course it was an adjustment for her (and me), but she loves her apartment and enjoys sitting out on her balcony. Mom has made friends, participates in activities, or just likes to read a book from the onsite library in her apartment. They go shopping once a week so I feel this gives her a sense of “independence” and not needing to depend on me for everything. I know that my Mom is receiving excellent care here and I don’t need to worry about her living alone anymore. I highly recommend Casa del Mare.

We recently chose St. Catherine’s Commons in Kenosha as our mother’s new home, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the decision. The admissions process was smooth and easy, with excellent communication from start to finish. Our mother is not only very happy there but also loves the food and is making wonderful new friends. We feel confident in the quality of care she’s receiving and are grateful for the warm, welcoming community at St. Catherine’s Commons.

Very caring staff. My dad was in need of a respite stay while recuperating from surgery and Casa Del Mare was able to meet all of his needs. It is a very difficult decision to move a family member into a care facility especially during Covid when visitation is restricted. The professional staff at Casa Del Mare helped ease my mind and I am comfortable with my father being left in their care.

Casa Del Mare is an excellent place. My mom has been there since October 2018 and we have had NOTHING but GREAT things to say about it. The memory care floor is awesome. Abbey Boero went above and beyond her job for my mom recently. My mom broke her hip. She had surgery, then was released to a rehab facility. That place did not know what to do with her and put her on the long term care side in a filthy room. Abbey took it upon herself to make sure my mom was on the rehab side, her rehab plan was up to par and everything was fine with my dad, all in one day. She constantly goes above and beyond with the care of my mom and also my dad, answering any questions he has at any time. i am forever indebted to Abbey. She is AWESOME!!

My family was caught by surprise when our Mom was diagnosed with vascular dementia. We had to make difficult decisions quickly and needed to find a trustworthy, safe place for her to live. Rachel was amazing at helping us understand all of our options and was so patient when answering our seemingly endless list of questions and concerns. Our Mom lives on the memory care floor where she receives great care from everyone she comes in contact with. Abbey and the staff at Casa Del Mare are extremely compassionate and treat our Mom with the dignity and respect she deserves. They greet us with a smile every time we arrive, update us on how she has been doing that day and, most importantly, understand what her specific needs are. We are eternally grateful for everyone there!
October 2018
The staff here is not only extremely professional they are superbly compassionate. My father has been a resident for about 6 months now and he is showing major improvement in mobility and personality. They treat their residents as beloved family members. I was able to arrange for his care from 2000 miles away. Abbey and Rachel are the staff members whom I have worked with closely and both are so conscientious and helpful. They truly made a painful process very manageable. For that I am eternal grateful and wish Casa continued successes. 10/10 would recommend

My in-laws recently moved to Casa del Mare. The entire staff has gone out of their way to make them feel welcome and included in the Casa community. We had a medication issue and the issue was addressed quickly and resolved. The entire staff met with us to make sure we were satisfied. My in-laws say the food the excellent too! Having Michelle at the front desk is a huge plus. She is a valuable asset to Casa del Mare.

Great place! awesome staff, very easy to work with and take great care of their residents!
March 2018
I toured there with Heather about a month and a half ago, I've never seen such caring caregivers at any facility. They greeted my dad like he was already a part of their family. The nurses were extremely knowledgeable and were able to answer any immediate questions or concerns I had about my dad. Since my dad has been there I have felt 100% confident in the care my dad has received since the day I dropped him off.

March 2018
Casa Del Mare is such an amazing place! The staff is wonderful, very friendly, and extremely patient with the residents. They have a beautiful location that over looks the lake, while inside is warm and clean, with a very at home feel. I highly recommend Casa Del Mare to anyone looking for a safe, warm, welcoming place for their loved ones.

Casa del Mare is THE place for your parents. The caring, compassionate staff go over and beyond to make your parents feel comfortable, loved and respected. From the front receptionist, to the dining staff, maintenance, the caretakers and nurses: all are there for the residents. My mom was in memory care for 2 years, and my dad was in assisted living for 4 years. I can't say enough good things. When I wasn't there, I knew my parents were well taken care of.
February 2017
Well at first we were very happy to go in as a rehab patient. Eventually he we moved over as a temp resident. Its feel was not that of a nursing home and that was a huge plus. The food could be good but often it was who prepared it and if they cared. Its also CORPORATE run and that dictates to the kind and quality of food. You have great caregivers and then those with attitudes. Like they are doing us a favor for doing thier job. The higher you go the bigger the problem. The LPN, sure seems nice and helpful. But when errors constantly happen it makes you wonder about competency. My parent's doctor numerous times had called me in frustration that things were not addressed or handled correctly. Tons of documentation on the doctors side as well as mine. SEVERAL medication errors. They could have been life threatening and the last one may have contributed to the death of my loved one. I have told them, and after the dust settles I will look into the legalities of it! When you go to the administrators ESPECIALLY a new hire: Nick. Too much to go into specifics, lets make it clear he is not in the correct profession. No people skills. Comes across as arrogant, unprofessional and uncaring. It's obvious his only concern is to make a name for himself with corporate. How did I come to these conclusions? How he interacted or NOT interacted with my family, how I have seen him interact (at the front desk) with other families, what other residents family members have to say and finally how the staff feels about him. He WILL be a factor in them loosing residents!
