I've only been here a month. It has been a good choice in life. My two sons were on my case of living in the home we had lived in. This last time they informed me that I wouldn't have to go find a firm or someone to take care of the lawn work and the laundry unit was down in the basement so I couldn't just run up and down the steps as I did before. I worked with a social worker at the senior facility in Oregon and they provided transportation to medical appointments. It was homey at the Senior Center, just like it is at Huntington. When I see people our age, I always recommend that they make Huntington their next home because it does feel like a home and it's not as rumbuntious like it was living with three brothers.

Thank you to Amber G, Deb, and Jayden for their exceptional care of my parents, Amber went out of her way to support my Mother and my family while she was on hospice care. She continues to care for my Dad in the memory care unit with respect and compassion. Deb and Jayden are also very kind. Huntington is a modern, attractive facility, and the food is quite good. All of that is secondary. What matters most is staff that shows kindness, patience, and attentive care to its most vulnerable clients These three people excel in their work.

We moved our parents into Independent Living 6 years ago. We wanted them to be in a safe environment and socialization. It definitely was a great experience. They had their independence without the burdens of their home. During COVID, Huntington did the best they could to keep residents safe. My parents made many great friends and enjoyed living there. After looking at several other places in Janesville, we just moved my mother to Assisted Living because of a medical condition. At AL, she is safe, well taken care of, and yet has a lot of independence, which is important to her emotional and mental well being. There are plenty of activities, meals served 3x a day, housekeeping, and old and new friends. The facilities are well kept. The staff and management are great. Highly recommend it.

My mom has very much enjoyed respite stays at Huntington this year. The staff is attentive to her. She loves the restaurant style dining room. Her one bedroom apartment has a terrific floor plan that she navigates easily with her walker. Their rep Zach has been a tremendous help in navigating the admission process. Happy mom...happy daughter!

Huntington Place has not only an amazing community, but they have amazing staff as well. They truly care for my aunt as their own family. I also LOVE the food thereI would recommend Huntington place to anyone in need of independent or assisted living.
