The recent addition of a memory care resident as my wife's roommate has yielded unfavorable results. It is evident that individuals requiring dementia and memory care should not share living spaces. The roommate's presence has adversely affected my wife's mental health and outlook. As Frontida's policy dictates shared accommodations, we are actively pursuing new placement alternatives.

I am so glad that I decided to leave this facility after the new management came in. It was a hard decision because I loved my residents but this group has no clue on how to care for the residents, the families or the staff. They are trying to force the residents to switch their doctors, the pharmacy etc. The nurse they have there, [name removed], just sits in her office all day and does nothing but cries, If I were you I would not put my loved one there with a nurse who is as mentally unstable as her. The so called executive director, [name removed], is all about his title and the money he is making. He puts his hand up and tells us staff to not talk to him, but to go the the house managers. They only have one, [name removed], he has no medical, nursing experience and was actually just being trained for Human Resources. They don't have the nurses on call, so hopefully nothing tragic happens to your loved one while living there. It is too bad the owners didn't realize what they had.

When we were searching for an assisted living facility for my mother, we would tour at meal time. We wanted to see if residents seemed happy and were conversing with each other. Allouez Parkside passed that test. My mother has been there for many months now and overall is pleased. She enjoys the meals. Most people will be open to conversations. Mostly, she likes the staff and when we visit and talk to the staff, the staff says that they like her. As with anything and anywhere, there is room for improvement, but I can solidly say that my over 95 year old mother is happy and content.

This is my wife's third facility and by far the best. The caregivers are second to none, the food and entertainment are top notch, the facility it self is the best around and they are always striving to improve. Highly recommend

I have been working with facilities in Green Bay and the Fox Valley for 8 years and APV is one I always recommend. We recently moved my grandpa to APV and now I have first hand experience with being on the other side of things. I can attest to the fact that the issues we have run into have been dealt with appropriately and timely. They have helped us navigate through this transition and they handle his needs with ease. Nobody will ever take care of him as well as gradma, but he gets the care he needs. As a family we can enjoy our time with him and that is what is most important. Professional side note: They have a great relationship with their outside agencies (e.g. home health, therapy, hospice).

My mother in law currently resides here. The staff are very caring and understanding of her medical needs. The food is also delicious. The atmosphere is always happy and upbeat. A few hiccups along the way but we are all human and the staff are always working hard to take care of everyone.

Update 6/6/23: Four years ago my Husband was diagnosed with dementia. This past January I had to make the decision to move him to a facility. I chose Allouez Parkside Village because I knew it was a well established home. A few years ago my Father resided there and I remembered how well he was treated. My husband has adjusted to his new surroundings very well and I know it had to do with the kind and caring caretakers they have employed. They treat him like family and not just a number. I would recommend this home to anyone. My dad was a resident of Allouez Parkside Village for approximately 4 months. This was the first time he was in any kind of facility, so he was a little nervous. After we got him settled in his apartment and he saw some of his personal furnishings there, he felt more comfortable. The staff that worked there were very caring. At the age of 92 you are pretty set in your ways, so he was a challenge, but they worked with him, got him back on his feet and he was able to go back home after about 4 months. We will be forever grateful for the care he received.

My Grandma has been living at Allouez Parkside Village for 2 months after moving there from another facility. She enjoys the food, especially the homemade desserts. The staff is responsive and comes in a timely manner when she presses her call button. They have bingo and volunteer singers and musicians who come in weekly to perform. While she has only lived there a short amount of time, the experience has been very positive so far and heads and shoulders above the previous assisted living facility she moved out of.

This is where you want your family to be should you need extra help. The staff consistently went above and beyond for my mom and our family. They are caring and dedicated professionals that treated my mom with such great respect and genuine kindness during her stay. Comfortable and homey guest rooms (or larger suites if preferred) all with privacy and call buttons for staff members to come in quickly as needed. Beautiful common areas with welcoming staff and the perfect amount of other residents about. Great room (Building One) overlooks a scenic marsh with turkeys, other birds, squirrels and bunnies that come to visit. Sunrises are gorgeous in this room. Everything just feels cozy. Great and diverse activities, always something for everyone. My mom loved attending the weekly musical events on Fridays and Tuesday Trivia. They have several gatherings and other events throughout the year (Christmas Party, Valentines Party, Summer Cookout/Carnival, etc.) that are really well put together, expense is not spared and family and friends can attend. Some of them are even open to the community and they're just nice, feel good events. It always made me so happy that my mom got to experience fun and warm events like that when she could no longer go out. Watching her sing along, laugh and interact with the staff and others was so great. I can't speak highly enough about the Allouez Parkside Village - Hillcrest Team. From the Executive Director, Amy Doolittle to Directors Ashley and Debbie to the nurses, the AMAZING caregivers, the cleaning crew, maintenance and so on. Every experience was pleasant and re-affirming that this property was the perfect place for my mom, her well-being and for my family's peace of mind. A sincere thank you to these people for making my mom's last years as special as they deserved to be.

My husband, Pat was admitted late April of 2018 with Lewy Body Demensia and was a handfull for sometime. The staff and the office personnel were great with him. Unfortunately Pat could not partake in any of the activities because his demensia had progressed so rapidly but they had so many activities and great music on Fridays. They made us always feel welcome and knew us by name right away. I ate several of my lunches with my husband Pat and the meals were always delicious. I also got to know several of the residents and their caregivers and that was helpful when you go thru this journey. My husband was only there for 4 and a half months before he passed away and hospice came on board a month before he passed. Hospice was also very caring and there for me. They walked me thru a lot of steps and Deacon John was so compassionate. If i had to go someplace if i got demensia i would definetly chose Allouez Parkside Village 2. I also felt if something was not right there that i could go into tbe office and talk about it and it was taken care of. It has been a little over 5 weeks since my husbands death and i have been back to Allouez Parkside Village three times to visit residents and to thank the staff and office personnel for everything they did for my dear husband Pat.

This is a great place to work! There are plenty of opportunities to grow with the company. The atmosphere is amazing and they are there for their employees as well as the residents. They have a lot of events that involve the residents, their families, the community, and the employees and their families! It also feels amazing to be there for the residents. Making this their home and making them feel comfortable! From having a short conversation with them as you pass by to fixing something in their room, the warm smile they give is amazing!

Our loved one moved into Allouez Parkside Village #2 one year ago. He has enjoyed the activities, people and good food. The staff are always caring and willing to do what is needed to make anyone living there happy. John likes his room and he sure keeps it in "perfect condition". He has agreed to living there and is happy with his decision. The variety of activities and music encourages him to participate in the beautiful great room. And the fireplace keeps it cozy and warm.

This facility will hire anyone off the street but then you look at them the wrong they love suspending people and watch out for drunk employees last week a drunk employee was working they sleep at night on the job they never can keep human resource people the one they got now is well not at all educated very nice inside but for employment run fast not worth the headache the management there is not good they choose their favorites and exclude all others

Jackie and her staff were so supportive during a time of crisis. She facilitated placement for my dad who has dementia the same day and came back in the evening to accept him. They know what they are doing and how to handle dementia behaviors. My mom will be joining my dad in a separate room for now, then, hopefully moving into the new building which is also memory care, but they have 1 bedroom apartments where we hope that they both can be together!
