My grandparents recently moved into Anita's Gardens after feeling reluctant to leave their home of decades, and my family and I couldn't be more thankful for the care given to them at Anita's Gardens! Chris and Celeste in specific have made the adjustment easier than we ever expected. We are so grateful for the attention given to them. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for assisted living for their aging loved ones!

My Grandpa has been a resident for about a half a year now and I cannot thank the staff enough for the kind care that they have provided him (especially Jenny)! Highly recommend a tour if you are looking for a home for your loved ones.

I'm the Activities Director here at Anita's Gardens and I've been employed here 7 years. We're definitely a 5 star facility. We work together as a team on a daily basis and we care for our residents and see their progress or natural decline. I believe it's fair to say we see what families don't see as some may come and go once a week or bi-weekly and visit their loved ones for a very short period of time and out the door they run. Our residents are given mugs with fresh ice cold water 3 times a day. They are never deprived water juices meals snacks or the good care that their families may not have been able to offer them. Our residents are toileted every 2 hours and more often if necessary. I've been a resident here in Grafton for 54 years and have been a local business owner here for 35 years. I'm proud to say I work at Anita's because our local residents know by word of mouth, that we are the best facility in Ozaukee County. People get upset when they witness their loved one declining. This is understandable but please keep in mind this isn't our fault. We are adequately staffed we have great cooks that make 3 delicious home cooked meals daily with dessert. We have superb management with the best executive administrator. Please keep in mind when your loved ones refuse to eat or drink we can't force them, all we can do is try to encourage them. It frustrates me reading 2 comments that I know are not true!

The activities director, Chris has been a family friend for quite a few years. She is incredibly dedicated to her job and is wonderful to each of the residents. Maria is one of the caregivers, she is incredibly kind, patient and caring. She treats the residents like family. She is a huge asset to the facility. Both Maria and Chris consistently go above and beyond and Anita's is lucky to have them both.

As a Certified Senior Advisor, I recently placed a client into this wonderful facility and she and her family are incredibly pleased with the staff and services provided. After researching many communities in this area, I found their records to be impeccable which has been demonstrated through the staff and services provided to my client.
