Hallways and common areas are heated to 77+ in winter. Schedule adhered to. Ok food according to my mother. Good parking. 10 out of the 14 Apts rented. When needed, maintenance was on the ball, and quick.

My loved one was here for a short while. During the time I was in the facility I saw the staff working well together to make sure every resident was taken care of. The call lights were on steady, and the CNA's answered them as fast as they came on. The Nurses/CNA's worked well together. The activities department was always so bubbly and cheerful. The kitchen staff was also pleasant to work with. I would recommend this facility to anyone who has someone in their life that needs more help that what you can provide.

All departments within the facility have a huge part in getting you where you need to be physically and mentally in order for you to go home safely and confidently. I have been visiting with my therapy dogs for about 10 years. The staff is friendly and patient with the residents. My mom was a resident there for 2 years. They answered my questions and concerns about how best to help Mom, and me. I have visited several nursing facilities with my therapy dogs and the activities at Meadowbrook are far superior to many of them.

I dont have much personal experience with this facility; however, I know many people who have been cared for here. I have a pretty large outreach to members of the Barron County community and I've heard some great things about this facility. There are some great staff members and they really put their patients first. The families really appreciate this place as loved ones are tended for with respect and dignity.

My brother Joe was a resident at Meadowbrook for about the last 5-6 years. Staff caring, friendly, very patient as he could be difficult at times. Activities department is super helpful does alot for the residents and families. No place is like home, no one cooks like you do, but I would recommend Meadowbrook.

These Assisted living apartments were great when it was Pelican Place. Since Meadowbrook took over care is sliding down hill; letting smokers live here should not be allowed in a "Healthcare facility. My parents lived here several years ago with much better care. I moved in December 2022 & am hoping to find another place to live soon.

My experience at Meadowbrook prepared me to be able to go home. The OT and PT people were excellent. I can't shout their praises enough. It was hard work but it sure paid off. I couldn't have had a better roommate. What one couldn't remember the other one of us did. She always said two heads are better than one. The CNA gals offered us grateful assistance when we needed it. Now my roommate and I are back in our own homes and doing very well. Thank you Meadowbrook.

My former mom-in-law is here. This was formerly known as Knapp Haven. It seems very clean, friendly staff, and the rooms vary from a hospital-type of room to hotel-like to some that you can tell is that resident's home. The activities room has a large wall cage with finches and the dining room looked very nice as well.
