My mom lived her best life at Peachtree and felt loved and cared for. My father always talked about how they had the best biscuits and gravy he ever had and he was very picky and judgmental when it came to food. My mother loved the activities and was involved in the community there. She loved her apartment and the rent was reasonably priced. The food was great and there were always activities that were interesting and fun. She loved her life there and made so many friends that ended up being family. It’s not just a place to live it’s a place to thrive.

As a social worker I have assisted people with living here. The director, Barbara is a very present director. The staff are kind and they all work with the residents to assist them as best as possible. it is a very friendly and caring atmosphere.

I absolutely love this place!!! My mom lives there and is a difficult , stubborn senior citizen to say the least . The staff and residents have gone above and beyond to help my mom.They are the nicest faculty we have ever been too. They are very clean . They interact with everybody and keep in touch with their family for any concerns. Their affordable. This is a place my mom calls home!! She loves it there .

Never thought I would have to look into retirement placement for my father however when inquiring with Barbara Zeigler concerning the possibility, she made the experience very comfortable. Even though we were able to provide home care for my father, the idea of having a wonderful secondary option gave our family peace of mind. I would recommend Peach Tree Retirement Home Center as a really good option.

Peach Tree Retirement Center is one of the best places I have ever been. They are so caring and someone is there at all times for your needs. We have fun activities, great food with awesome deserts served three times a day. Fruit trees and a garden. Pet friendly and absolutely NO STAIRS . I telephoned to inquire about sending a resident a Christmas card. The Peach Tree employee was very professional and safeguarded the residence all the time assuring me that the card would be delivered by addressing it to the retirement center. I eas happy the apartment number was not given out .

Every aspect of Peachtree is phenomenal! It all starts with the Manger Barbara. She and the staff go above and beyond for there tenants. Peachtree is safe, clean and full of smiling faces. A true gem!

When I first stepped in Peach Tree Retirement Center it was such a welcoming experience. Th staff welcomed me and offered me cookies and milk Just like being at a grandmas home. I have come to know many of the staff and residents in a short time and they continue to exude the kindness that is in the hearts. You should really check this place out.

My Dad LOVED being part of the Peach Tree community! He enjoyed being part of a fun group of residents that lived there and raved about how delicious the meals were each day. Barbara and her team were above all I have seen or experienced with senior living for my Dad. I appreciated the caring support and positive staff that works there. It wasn't fake, they really do care about the individuals who live there, not just their rent. The facility is older than some, but the maintenance and housekeeping teams have kept the rooms and building in really good condition. They may not have all the extras that the more upscale senior living facilities have, but what they lack is made up in activities and more person-to-person relationships. I appreciated that whenever I visited there was always a staff person that would acknowledge my presence and say Hello. My Dad was happy and his only regret is that he didn't move there sooner. I will always be grateful that he lived there.

This place is amazing, my parents live there, The staff is amazing. My parents look so happy, relaxed and enjoying life. They brag how wonderful the meals are, how well their treated from the staff, they also enjoy all the activities. It's nice for the families if your parent or parents do not drive, they have a shuttle bus on site, that do weekly in town runs. Barbara, the manager will go out of her way to help you getting them set up to move in and keeps in touch if anything is needed. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere for retirement age to live. Christy Meluskey

I love this place for my adopted mother. She has participated in some community service projects they offered here. I came along to help and enjoyed it so well that I suggested other projects they did to help Yakima. I have joined them in 3 different card games and now call the gals that play "my group". We really are good friends and I am blessed for the connections I found. The management even let me offer a Bible Study that is attended by about 8 regular residents. Some day I'll love here, but for now, coming to hand out with my friends 3 times a week is just fine.

Peach tree retirement center regularly hosts events for their residents and I have been invited to participate. The staff always goes above and beyond what I expected. The cooks make visually stunning food that always tastes scrumptious. If your looking for a safe and caring place give Peach tree your consideration. I can definitely recommend them and I can't wait for the next event.

Very nice place to live. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They are quick to address any issues that arrive. Everything is kept clean and in place. They make big efforts to decorate the building inside and out to celebrate holidays and events. We have felt that it was like blending into a large supportive family when we moved here. There is a plethora of residents with interesting past and present lives to interact with. In short it is a nice place with nice people so we recommend it.

I visit peachtree from time to time the staff and residents are always happy and welcoming! It's like one big family! staff always seem like there having fun singing dancing having a good time 🙂 management always has something fun in the works so stop by you will be glad you did!

My mother unfortunately fell last January at home and began her recovery at Good Samaritan. After completing her care there she was still not able to return to her home.Wanting her independence but still needing assistance we chose Peach Tree. It offered all mom needed three delicious meals served in a community dining area with snacks and drinks available 24/7.The center has Church services each week and a variety of monthly events occur , with exercise equipment and a huge yard available. I feel God blessed us with the perfect spot for mom to continue to recover. I know she is safe, yet still independent and she has meet some wonderful new friends. I highly recommend Peach Tree Retirement Center.

I was recently tasked with finding my Dad a new home here in Yakima. He is 65 years young and suffered a stroke four years ago, causing slight paralysis and short term memory loss; the time had come to move him closer to myself, my brother and our families. A move 175 miles away from his home in a lush mountain canyon surrounded by acres of grass trees shrubs and wildlife was going to be no easy task. My search began in Yakima a few weeks ago at assisted living facilities, and adult family homes. They were terrible and my heart sank. How could I place my Dad in a place like this with much older residents crammed in like sardines, two to three persons per bedroom, no privacy and nothing nice to look at out the window. And many were multiple stories with stairs or elevators. Many required an appointment to go and tour-as if they had something to hide. Cost was also an issue as my Dad has a limited income. These homes were expensive, but also provided more nursing care. Dad is still mobile and can take care of himself, just needed more well rounded meals provided and a reminder to take his medicine. I felt as if I would never find him a place that met his needs where he would feel comfortable. On a whim I called Peach Tree Retirement Center and was warmly greeted by the activities director Dave. He would happily give me a tour even though the Director Barbara was out on some errands. My five year old son and I zipped on over and I knew immediately when I parked my car that this was the home I was looking for! I'm not kidding, the clouds parted and a light shined down on these beautiful grounds of grass, trees, flowers, chirping birds and smiling old ladies sitting on the front stoop. The 4 acres of property reminded me so much of where my Dad has lived for the last 30 years! I knew in my heart he would be comfortable here, and it was only a mile away from my home. Dave made a balloon animal for my son and gave us a tour, allowed me to take photos to share with my family, and even offered us snacks. I loved the community dining room, commercial kitchen, mini store, barber shop, exercise room, vegetable garden, game room, and individual resident rooms. Very ample in space, everything is wheelchair accessible (if needed) and the whole facility is on one level. And the views from the windows! I absolutely loved it! And the staff!! We met many of the staff on our first visit. Ernie, one of the cooks even hunted us down on the property and gave us some freshly made cookies! Everyone looked happy and smiling, residents went out of their way to tell me how much they enjoyed living here. My mind was made up, this was the place! I thanked Dave for taking time to show us around unannounced, and headed for the car. I couldn't wait to show my family the photos and tell them all about Peach Tree. As we were leaving, we ran into Barbara the Executive Director. What a sweet lady! She put down her shopping errands and invited us into her office. We talked about my Dad and his needs, about finances, and a potential move-in date. Barbara provided me with phone numbers of additional agencies in Yakima to reach out to for support. She was so helpful and especially kind to my son, who I must say was getting rather bored of all this "grandparent home" shopping. Over the following week I must have called Barbara a hundred times at all hours of the day with more questions/concerns. Each time she happily spoke to me as if we were old school friends and assured me I was not bothering her in the least. She even allowed me to place some recently purchased furniture for my Dad in his room before his move-in date. What a treat Peach Tree has turned out to be! I am happy to report my Dad has moved in and is happy as a clam. He reports the food is tasty, but he might have to quit eating or he'll get too fat, there is so much food! I personally cannot say enough good things about Barbara and her staff. Thank you for making this move so easy for our family!! Give Peach Tree Retirement Center a visit...you'll love it!

This is the most beautiful, well-thought out layout for a retirement center. Being on one level has absolutely benefitted my grandma. There are no stairs to climb! She loves the activities that happen almost daily, like bingo. She also loves the fact that there is a juice bar, coffee, and fresh fruit and snacks available 24/7. With three hot meals served daily, there is pretty much no need to keep food in her apartment. Every day she gets her hot meals plus a choice of fruit, salad, cottage cheese, jello, etc. Her favorite part? The DESSERT! The cooks at Peach Tree are always whipping up something she likes. I have eaten with her many times and the food has always been delicious. They make GREAT cookies!! Even if you're not ready to move in, or your loved one isn't ready, take the time to call and schedule a tour. They have recently remodeled, as well. When I'm ready to retire, this will be my first choice! The place is so family oriented and the staff are wonderful. You can't walk out without making a new friend! One last note, you will not find a more sweet, caring, loving, friendly director/manager than the one Peach Tree has. She is honest and trustworthy and everyone who lives there is in great hands.
