Visited this facility with my mother and even spoke with a woman on sight, named Danielle, who seemed to be a "director" or at least involved in the process to get things started. She gave us a tour and gave us forms to fill out forms allowing them to access my families health records, which my mother completed and returned. We never received a call back, so a few days later we went back to the facility and asked to speak with Danielle but she was occupied. The man at the front desk said he would have her call us to verify that she received the completed forms and at least let my mother know if they were an appropriate fit for this facility, or not. That was almost 2 weeks ago and my mother NEVER heard a word back from them. That is why they are getting a 1 star rating. If you don't even have enough courtesy to call a potential resident back and tell them yes or no, I can't imagine what it must be like to live there. If the caregiving, nursing, accounting dept, etc all operate in the same way, it would be a nightmare to do business with this establishment. Communication is absolutely essential!

Englewood heights is by far the best Assisted Living Community I have seen here in the Yakima Valley. The staff are genuine and caring. You are always greeted with a smile when you walk in the front door and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. The Residents look happy and content and will sure tell you so if given the chance. The staff definitely strive to provide excellent care to all Residents and their families!

Avamere at Englewood is a loving, grace-filled environment providing safety and loving care for my mother. It is an intimate setting, with gardens and porches like home. Family Member My mom has lived in this community for two years. These have been some of the best years of her life! She has the freedom to enjoy the company of her little dog, and to be independent in her daily activities, knowing that help is just the push of a button away. My mom is able to participate in a wide range of activities fit to her liking and that of the other residents. She loves the food, but also we appreciate the full size fridge for keeping extra snacks in the room for her. Mom has grown close to the staff, which is very comforting to myself and my siblings. The care staff and med techs provide sincere, compassionate, and knowledgeable care and services, and for that we are especially thankful. Robin R.

A year ago we moved our parents to Avamere. Whatever challenges they faced from health concerns and moving from the home they loved were helped along by individual members of the staff, care aids and the amazing med tech team. We like the size of the two bedroom apartment. Not cramped at all. Large master bedroom. We observed something very important to our family, how the care aids and med techs speak and treat our parents. All very kind, patient and sincere. I can hear them often when I am on the phone with my mom. Never rushed. If something comes up that needs attention they alert the family. Or if we have a question we are able to communicate and are assured they will do whats possible to assist us to our satisfaction and the benefit of our parents. We are pleased we made the right choice.

I recommended Englewood Heights for my grandparents, and wouldn't change it for a second. The staff have always been very tuned into any health changes that occur, and are always quick to act. My grandparents love the food, activities, staff, and other residents. I always know my grandma's health needs are always being taken care of.

They have been taking excellent care of my dad and hes quite happy there. When I visit I always find the staff to be very friendly and the food is pretty good too.
