I had recently come to the conclusion it was time to move my Dad into a Memory Care Unit. It was a tough decision but time to do so. I had toured several Memory Care Facilities in Portland/ Vancouver area and not 1 of them left me feeling good about trusting the Care of my Dad to. Then I stumbled upon The Hamptons and Ashley Inn. I called for an appt to get a tour and meet with them. Melody answered the phone, I briefly explained my needs. She asked me a couple questions. She cared about our situation you could hear it in her voice. She transferred me to Brianna Lamb - Director of Community Relations . Great Job Title I thought to myself. We made an appt and met the next day. She greeted us with a warm smile and handshake. We discussed everything for the next couple hours. Her confidence and ability to understand my situation. Then to have solutions for our every concern sold me. We signed up right there. It's been a month and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Brianna you are exactly what we were looking for. Update we are in month 7. Still very happy with our choice.

I am a volunteer at the Hampton & Ashley Inn and it is my first time working with memory care residents and I am so happy I decided to do this! Not only do I get great reward in visiting with each resident but I get to watch the staff interact with each person also. They sing with/to them, they find fun ways to get what they need in order to help the resident, they answer their many questions (over & over again) as though it were the first time answering, lots of hand holding, side hugs & talking face to face. Their kindness & patience is heartwarming. What a great family of individuals!

A great, clean facility with staff that truly care about their residents. It's clear to see that the people here are in it for the right reasons - to serve others. It takes special people to work with the daily ups and downs that come with dementia but the staff are well trained and patient. They provide excellent, quality care and I would trust them with my loved one.

My wife is a senior advisor and tours and highly encourages seniors that need assistance to consider this community. It has amazing staff, beautiful grounds and a ton of very interesting activities. The icing on the cake is definitely Brianna Lamb. She is very passionate about making sure seniors thrive in care. She is dedicated, knowledgable and very compassionate to the persons needing care and their loved ones. She helps provide a fresh prospective and has been in many different roles within their community to understand all aspects of senior memory care. If your loved one is needing more help this is the only memory care in Vancouver that we would have our family in.

Rather than a specific experience, I am writing to rave about the staff at this facility. I visit a number of times a week and I find interaction between caretaker, nurse and patient to be consistently kind, patient, gentle and caring. When I walk out the door, I know my husband will be cared for and treated well. I am grateful. In particular, I would like to rave about Tammy, Keeley, Sherry, Linda and Mona not only for doing their job but going far beyond what they have to do. When Tammy is at work, the entire atmosphere of the floor is happier. I know that both Tammy and Keeley care for each and every resident as if they were their own family. The Director of Nursing, Amber, is always available to listen and offer advice. She is an outstanding example of how to treat others the way you would like to be treated. Im grateful!

Our family member has been a resident at The Hampton Memory Care Community for 2-1, 2 years. During that time, we have found that your care and concern for our loved one has been phenomenal. You treat Dale like a member of your own families, and have gotten to know him so well that you are able to anticipate his needs. You comfort him and care about him. You know and respect his preferences. You wrap him in your collective arms and hold him, when we cant right now. Thank you so much. Placing a loved one with dementia away from family is heart wrenching. It is stressful for us, but you make it easier to bear. There is guilt, and self doubt, and it means so much that you also wrap your arms around your families, because we need you to do that. This community has helped the families of your residents come together and support each other. You encourage us to communicate together and with the community. That makes a difference that you cant imagine. Thank you for open communication, for care and concern, and for all that you do every day.

I have had my husband in the Hamptons care for almost a year. Prior to him being admitted he was there several times in respite care. I cant thank them enough for all they have done for him. The staff has been so supportive and so kind to him and to me and all of our family. I know that when I come to see him he is well cared for and in excellent hands.The staff gives me updates on his condition and I sincerely appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to Greg‘s daily needs. I must say that all of the staff have been so kind and professional. From the nursing staff to the administrators to maintenance and to everyone… I could not be more pleased. As difficult as a decision this is to placed my husband into care, I couldnt feel more confident in the fact he is cared for in love at the Hampton in Ashley in. I highly recommend the Hampton as a caring and highly professional caregiver facility.

My mother has been at Hampton and Ashley Inn for over five years. She started in assissted living and was moved to the memory care unit as her dementia became more progressed. I feel lucky to have found this place, because i have heard horror stories of other homes. The main thing that impresses me the most is that every employ acts like a caregiver. The people that clean, aides, and CNAs and nurses all are involved in the well being of the residents. The front desk people are always well informed and will help with any issue you must have. I realize that some of the residents can be very challenging but Hampton Inn handles it care and grace. Im very happy that my mother will spend her remaining time here.

My experience with my loved ones care at the Ashley has been very positive. I want to thank Angie and Cheryl for being open and honest about all decisions and care related issues. I want to commend the nursing staff & caregivers for the exceptional patience and effort they put out during these very trying times. As family members we are dependent on knowing our loved one is getting the care they need when we as a family have limited access to them. A special thank you to the quality caregivers that our loved ones quality of life depends on everyday: Michelle, Mona, Ksang, Tammy, Alli, Rebecca and Christie, Jessica, Joy, Rachel and the many others that I may have not personally have come in contact with. I am very thankful for the staff at The Hampton and Ashley Inn...they took my mom in on an emergency basis right at the start of COVID and have made her feel welcome every step of the way. My mom is staying there permanently and she seems to be doing better now then when she first went there. Grateful for the routine she has and the care they give. Cheryl (my moms nurse there) seems very knowledgeable about Dementia, so this has been extremely helpful since we didnt learn of the diagnosis until very late. Truly thankful and blessed...

I have worked in several assisted living homes, and Hampton and Ashley Inn provide such a feel of home to their residents. They care for each of them as though they are family. Staff is often going above the requirements of there work to ensure the residents feel loved. During this time of Covid when many have not seen family, the staff here,I believe, gives each resident a sense of family a feel of home.

My dad was there for 2 years. The employees do care about the residents but they are always under staffed. They should treat there employees better from what I saw being there multiple times a week visiting. I have more but this might not be a good place to dump on the managers.

In January of this year we placed my mother in the memory care unit of the Hampton and Ashley Inn. We could not be more pleased with the facilities and level of care mom is receiving. The nursing team is attentive to moms needs and the support staff is like family. They have planned activities every day and wonderful prepared meals. Nazreen and staff have worked closely with our family physician and other treatment teams to make sure mom is receiving the medical and memory care she needs. This gives us tremendous peace of mind that mom is in the right place!

This is a new placement for my mom, but early indications have been very positive. Let me qualify my comments by saying that we are very familiar with memory care facilities across the county, having toured and experienced many of them as either actual or potential residents. Though we are relatively early in the transition process, weve been so pleased with The Hampton, Ashley Inn. The staff are excellent. They are more mature and experienced than many of the other staffs weve worked with. Theres a nice homey feel to the place. Its set up well for monitoring the needs of a wide range of residents requiring a variety of care on the memory care continuum. The grounds are pleasant and relaxing. The food is good and nutritious. What I most appreciate from my end, compared to our previous placement, is that the organization runs with a less corporate feel. Theres a sense to me that theres more to this place than the bottom line, and theyve actually demonstrated that to me, too. Much more sensible option than other facilities weve had my mom in and toured. Double thumbs up so far for the Hampton, Ashley Inn.

My mom has severe vascular dementia, and I had to put her in a memory-care home in April 2015. I visited several sites. The Ashley, Hampton Inn easily stood out. Mom clicked with residents and staff immediately--theyre genuinely nice and not in an icky PR way. The home has several graduated options as a residents dementia worsens, and thats critical for care. They also have a pay-down option, after which Medicaid kicks in, and not all of the nicer homes offer this. Rates are comparable to similar facilities in the region. But what stands out most is the extreme attention to detail and care. Nothing important gets past the staff. Theyre consummate professionals, and I credit director Nazreen Jones for this. Shes smart and accessible and compassionate. I dont live in Vancouver, but Id move in here in a heartbeat if I needed care.

Nazreen was very helpful getting us through all the paper work and finding the perfect room for my father in-law. He loves it at the Hampton Inn he can eat when ever he wants and has many activities to do and lots of people to talk to.

My mother, who has Alzheimers, has adjusted well and been very happy the past 16 months at the Hamptons. She participates in the activities and has many friends. As her power of attorney, I have found the staff very helpful in dealing with her dementia. When I visit, I am always invited to join in the activities and stay for a meal. The Hampton community, both staff and residents, are her family now, and I know that she is getting the best possible care. Choosing the Hamptons was the best decision I made.

I am a private caregiver at the Hampton Ashley Inn. I would like to just say that the quality of care there is unsurpassed. The workers are selfless hard working people. They work together to give the highest quality and level of care. I have wittnessed on many occasions great acts of kindness. The staff is wonderful about getting the residents out on many outings as possible and providing stellar entertainment for the people of the Hampton. I would never hesitate to put one of my loved ones in their care!!
