Recently placed my mother in the care of Cascade Inn and the care and attention she has received could not have been better. I can see the difference in her demeanor, health and happiness on a consistent basis. Her caregivers and all who support the staff and residents are just wonderful.

Our 97 year old mom has been living at Cascade Inn since December, she has a nice little room of her own and the staff has been very supportive and helpful, there’s a wonderful dining room there with great meal choices, a little movie theater, an in house beauty salon and lots of activities. She also has a friend that she has known since the 1950’s that lives there and she has made several new friends as well. If or when mom has any issues or concerns the nursing staff is very good about calling us and keeping us informed about anything going on with her, there’s even transportation available that we’ve used to get her to doctor appointments, very convenient and helpful! It’s very comforting to know that our dear mother is in such a pleasant place and being well cared for. Many thanks to all the helpful friendly staff who work there, their thoughtful care and kindness is greatly appreciated!

Eric came by today, pretty much to see how we are doing in our new digs. He saw a loose faucet in the kitchen, and had exactly the right tool ot fix it easily. He also showed us some neat shower heads that were purchased that have a much more flexible hose, unlike the kind you see in motel 6, more like a high end Radisson. He helped us replace ours.

The Staff at Cascade Inn genuinely cares for each resident. I've seen kindnesses all around during Mom's stay here from looking for foods Mom will eat... Thank you Natalya! My wife and I dine with my mother a few times each week and I wanted to comment on a wait person named Natalie. She has been very kind always with a smile. Natalie has served us with a real caring for our experience. If she could except a gratuity I would have been generous pleased to show our appreciation. Every business is measured by their staff and you have a real gem of an employee in her.

I have house keeping once a week, they do my laundry and serve me 3 good meals a day and there are nurses around the clock that manage my prescriptions for me, what is not to like, oh I am on the bean bag baseball team and I have turned into a dime bingo addict. I have been here for 7 years and this December it will be 8! Great place to live

Wonderful facility that really took the unique needs and situation with my father-in-law into account when we needed to move him from another assisted living facility. At a certain point in your life kindness means everything. This is what you will find at Cascade Inn. From your initial orientation (Hanna, Debbie), to 24 hour skilled nursing (Tay, Deanna, Jaymie and so many others), care givers (Kyle and so many more), Grace and Chris so helpful at front desk, to even all the dining servers and amazing maintenance folks (Logan). EVERYONE has a heart for this population and is so patient, kind and respectful. It is quite remarkable. This alone would be enough but there is so much more. My parents have been here 6 months now and I can’t imagine them being anywhere else. They have complicated meds and need daily nursing assessments to manage them. Having 24 hour nursing administering the meds is critical. I also love that it is one big communityno separation of independent vs assisted vs memory care. You don’t change as a person just because you need more help. So many places force residents to move to another apartment if they need additional assistance. I feel this is so inhumane and it’s not how a real society works. At Cascade Inn you never have to move and it fosters a real sense of community within the residents. If you have a loved one that needs help and a sense of belonging, support, kindness and respect then look no further than Cascade Inn.

If you are looking for an Independent or Assisted Livings situation, I recommend that you start with The Cascade Inn. You may not want to bother looking further. UPDATE: June 16. I was able to move my sister into Cascade. They were very helpful with the move-in, which I appreciated, since I was under time pressure to make it happen. She was moved into their fully-furnished Respite apartment for a 30 day stay. That gave me time to attend to personal issues and arrange for my sister's furniture to be moved in at the end of the 30 day stay. When the time came to move her into a permanent apartment, again they were helpful, but there were delays in getting answers to my questions. For example, one would expect a room layout diagram to verify furniture placement. There was none and I had to create a layout on my own. On the day that the furniture was to arrive, I had difficulty getting into the room. The first set of keys, clearly marked with the apt number, did not work. They found the correct keys. Move-in was completed but no one from the facility could tell me when the bed would be made and my sister moved. Not a huge issue, but I was beginning to feel that now that my sister is in and the lodging fees paid, I was relegated to a less important client status. The most surprising discovery was that a large block of apt numbers (including my sister's) is not registered with the Postal Service. The impact of this is profound. Your mailing address is a key to establishing financial and retail accounts. Mail forwarding to my home will work for awhile but at some point it is essential that Cascade register these "ghost" apt numbers with the USPS. I still think Cascade is a place to consider but my first five star review was based on the "sales" side of my experience. In my experience, this is not untypical of most commercial interactions: before the sale, the customer is "king" after the sale they are just another customer.

Recently went and got a tour of this facility, and couldn’t have been more pleased with how they treated the residents. Everyone was so friendly and inviting, and I really enjoyed the wide variety of activities they provide. I personally think this is going to be a great fit for my mother!

When visiting the facility I couldn't help but notice how friendly the staff is. They truly went above and beyond my expectations from the smiles and conversations that made you feel right at home. The marketing team was absolutely amazing and willing to answer any and all questions I could come up with. If for any reason they could not answer a question they made sure to find out the answer and get back to me in a timly manor. Which if I am completely honest only happened once because their knowledge was above parr. I highly recommend if your looking for a loving, caring facility that your loved ones are treated like family, that you check this place out.

My name is Carolyn Magura and I am proud to say that I have been a very happy and proud resident here at the Cascade Inn Independent and Assisted Living Community for 8 years. I daily live with the symptom impairments from Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and a Covid-related stroke leaving my entire right side paralyzed. I was living in a totally Independent place when I fell and broke my left foot. There were no caregivers or nurses. AND, if you moved from Independent to Assisted the price more than doubled. I went online to find a facility that had 24 hour caregivers and nurses, and where the resident could go from independent to assisted and stay in the same apartment. I found Cascade Inn, and I absolutely love living here. We consider ourselves a large family, and we foster great communications. I am confident that if you or someone from your family decides to move into Cascade Inn, you or your relative will benefit from that move also.

The staff are friendly and very responsive. The community is large. There is always something going on. You can tell everyone truly cares about the best interest of the residents here. They also just started onsite Outpatient Therapy Services, so residents do not have to go offsite to get PT!

I love love love the staff at Cascade! I've worked with Nicole and team for a couple of years, and they are professional, compassionate, and put families and residents first. Our apartment is generally well planned for seniors except of course for the tall cabinets and clothes pole that are a problem for wheelchair users. The food is healthy and well served-but not inspired. The care givers are very supportive and friendly but a bit rushed. The place is kept very clean and the air is fresh. The gardens are lovely and well tended, and attract birds and squirrels. The pet policy is reasonable and we have our cat and dog with us and walking the dog is easy with quiet streets very near. We are enjoying the activities despite the Covid restrictions, as the activities directors are quite creative.

Very receptive to requests for helping my father. My dad is not really happy with the food as there are a lot of chicken dishes and also a good deal of pasta and he doesn’t care for pasta so he doesn’t always eat as he should. We have purchased TV dinners for his use when he doesn’t get enough that he can eat at meals provided. The facility is clean, the nurses are good with my 103 year old father and we are thankful for them.

Our mother is at Cascade Inn and has been there over 6 years. She was in a singing group called the Marshallaires before going into Cascade and with them she went to a lot of assisted living facilities to perform. So she knew where she wanted to go. Is it perfect? No. But it has been very good for her and us.
