My mother and I chose The Weatherly Inn as her place of residence several years ago as she entered the latter phase of life. It was located near her neighborhood in Tacoma and she knew a couple other friends who resided there. Weatherly Inn is a family run business where the staff places emphasis on treating residents with dignity, quality of life, and care for them as individuals. The facility is well maintained and features dining rooms, activity areas, library, hair salon, nice landscaping with trees and flowering bushes, and more. Care providers and nursing staff are very attentive to residents, and keep extended family members and Guardians well informed on their being. Weatherly Inn has allowed my mother to progress in residency and care from assisted living to now memory care level within the same facility, providing continuity of life without disruption. While the pandemic period was very difficult for everyone, Weatherly Inn management, administrative, nursing, and care staff did an outstanding job supporting medical testing and working to keep residents and staff safe and healthy. If you or a loved one is contemplating a transition to assisted living and long-term care residency, I would highly recommend arranging a visit and tour of The Weatherly Inn or their sister sites.

Mom moved to the Weatherly after she could no longer fully take care of herself in independent living. At first she needed little help and enjoyed having some independence under the watchful eye of the caring staff. As her memory declined, and as she needed more and more care, she progressed from assisted living to memory care, the staff has continued to be very supportive and caring of her over the years. When COVID hit and I could visit less often, I felt with the utmost confidence that she was in good hands. Now she's 107 and continues to enjoy the best care possible for which we are most grateful. Before my aunt moved into the Weatherly, we toured nearly all the Assisted-Living places in and around Tacoma. We are so happy to have decided on the Weatherly! It’s important to compare not just the price but also compare what is included and excluded in the monthly fee. I feel that the Weatherly is very reasonably priced; especially for all the amenities that are included. The atmosphere is very home-like and does not have the feel, smell or look of an institution. They have many activities that seem to be very popular with the residents. The staff have been kind, cheerful, helpful and considerate to my aunt who is now 94 and has very limited vision. They address her by name and are helpful when they see that she appears to need assistance. The Weatherly is uniquely wonderful. My Aunt and I refer to the Weatherly as "The Resort" 🙂 I hope this review helps with your decision when looking for an Assisted Living home.

My Alzheimer's husband absolutely thrives at Weatherly Memory Care. He interacts with all the people, plays games, eats well all in all literally in love with the staff. He goes three days a week right now, but we know it will become a permanent thing soon and he will be ready already feeling at home. Guess the tale is Memory Care can help make a person feel alive again, and they have done that for my husband.

The Weatherly Inn has a nice boutique feel. The decor is comforting and stands out compared to other assisted living communities because of its unique antique design. Additionally having an on-site RN is unique to the Weatherly Inn. Monica gave me a tour when I visited and her knowledge and dynamic with the residents was genuine.

The Weatherly is a a beautiful place. It has a great location to start with. The neighborhood is quite which makes walking around the facility a pleasant activity to do, especially during spring time when all the flowers bloom. Residents and staff are great! They are always up to something fun and entertaining while offering the best health and mental care for the residents. There are many activities going on throughout the day with my favorite ones being the Outdoor Happy-Hours and the Live Music Socials!I highly recommend this place for your loved ones!

All the staff go above and beyond, everyone is extra accomodating, and their space is of the highest quality! How fortunate Ive been to spend 14 years working with residents and staff at Weatherly Inn prior to my retirement last year! Truly it is a wonderful environment where residents, their families, and staff share a warm sense of home and family. Longevity of staff - some with nearly 30 years of dedicated service - help provide a sense of stability and familiarity. Once residents come to Weatherly Inn everyone works to help them feel welcomed and appreciated. This continues through the final transition phase and even afterwards when celebration of their life is often held at Weatherly Inn.

The staff at the Weatherly Inn give top of the line quality care. Its not just coming in to a normal job each day but coming in with genuine concern for each resident who is like family to them. This is a wonderful place . . . the staff is so caring and dedicated. The facility itself is spotless and decorated beautifully with a comfy-homey feeling. But more importantly, the residents Ive spoken with over the past 8 years, are happy and enjoy their home. I only hope that Im lucky enough to call it home when the time comes.

I have worked here as a CNA and my experience has been most wonderful. The workload is very manageable, the residents are happy and pleasant to work with, your fellow employees are caring, trustworthy, and work as a team well. At the end of each day, I felt fulfilled about my work. I only wish I could have stayed here longer!

Absolutely love the Weatherly Inn and Staff. Extremely clean and well designed. My father and mother lived there since 2012 and the experience was compassionate, caring and genuine. When my father was experiencing his final days, the staff set up space for me in his room to stay 24, 7. I recommend the Weatherly Inn without reservation or concern.

Me and my husband have lived here for less than a year and this has been the most amazing place ever. From the staff, to the food, activities, and atmosphere, I couldnt think of a better place to be.
