My father-in-law is a new resident here at The Village. The staff here have gone above and beyond to welcome him warmly and help him feel accustomed to his new home. Upon her discharge from the hospital, it was clear our mother needed more care, and due to both the state of her home and finances, remaining home was not an option. We needed to act quickly, and within three weeks of meeting Chris, the director, we were able to assess my mom, finalize the necessary paperwork, and get her moved into a lovely one bedroom apartment. Chris and his team are amazing! Responsive, caring, and solution focused, with this team, we can rest assured that The Village is the right place for our Mom.

We just moved my dad into this facility and he is absolutely loving it! The entire process was made very easy thanks to Chris and Thomas who went over every detail and answered every question. The facility is very clean, has great food, and the entire staff is so personable!

As a registered nurse and, more importantly, a daughter, I am grateful for the care the Village Assisted Living gave my mother in her final years. From the very first day, the staff welcomed her with warmth and treated her like family. They cared for her not only physically but emotionally, showing her love, patience, and dignity every single day. Ann Marie would sing with her, Eric calmed her when she was fearful of falling and Blanca touched my mom's heart by sharing life stories. These are only a few of the wonderful staff my mother raved about. I was deeply touched by the way they celebrated her good days and gently supported her through the difficult ones. Knowing she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her gave me peace during a time that could have been overwhelming. I will always be grateful for the compassion and kindness they showed to both my mother and our family.

The staff is amazing. Chris was a joy to work with. This is a very different decision for people and they made you feel welcome. Dawn and Thomas also helped make the process seamless with all of the paperwork. From the moment we walked in it had a feeling of happiness and not just because we were new! After a few weeks now that same feeling is present. Great job.

My mother in law has been living here for 6 months now, and she regularly tells me that she’s the happiest she’s been, since losing her husband 12 years ago. The facility is always clean, there are lots of activities, outings, errand runs and get together for residents. There’s a great chef here, and we regularly come in to enjoy meals with her at no extra charge. The kitchen is very accommodating to each persons preferences. The only downside I see here is that there’s a lot of turnover of employees, and the main doors lock from the outside at 6pm and they do not provide keys, so getting back in after that can take a long time.

Very sloppy work in there. No one takes responsibility for anything. Care is sub par, as rooms are dirty, I mean really dirty, communication from staff is non existent. Makes me wonder how my family member is being taken care of. If your family member has special needs because of dementia or alzheimers...do not go here. They will just be left on their own.

I learned about The Village when my client of 20 years moved there for assisted living. At first their Life Enrichment Coordinator would drive her to my salon. Soon after I provided salon services for her and other residents onsite at the community. The receptionist has always been informative and safe with all COVID screening. The caregivers and nurses are helpful with getting residents to appointments and communicating safety tips with each person. Working with Lincoln to help bring salon services to those who can not get out has been a great joy in my life. Staff an residents are always friendly and smiling. Seeing my friend and client well taken care of, I would recommend The Village to families looking for quality care.

The Village Senior Living is a great option for Senior Living in Tacoma, WA. Judy the Marketing Director takes the time to listen to the residents needs and wants and helps make sure that the move to The Village is seamless and the residents feels at home. My grandma moved to this while experiencing cancer. She was legally blind. In the middle of the night my grandma called for help, one of the staff was really rude and yelled at her. My grandma was so upset terrifed she never had this experience any place or people. She moved out this place right 2 months later and the manager did nothing to this staff member i reported
