Communication with executive staff extremely difficult. They kept saying they would keep me informed on a financial issue but routinely have not. Seems to me they something to hide.

My wife & I have lived here for several months. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always anxious to be of service. This is an all-inclusive organization, so we are offered healthy meals and light housekeeping. Meals are well-planned with a good variety of quality food. Since the main building was not originally designed to have crutches, motorized scooters, or wheelchairs, if the elevator is not functioning (like in a fire or earthquake), some residents on the upper floor could have mobility problems (and those residents should consider moving to a lower floor). We would recommend Solstice without reservation.

Wonderful assisted living. The only bad part is there is only ONE elevator. If it were to ever break.. the residents would have no way going from floor to floor except the stairs.

If I could give this place a hundred stars I would. The attention to detail is amazing. This place is very clean, the food is great, there is a shuttle to take resident's out into the community, they have organized activities, every home includes a housekeeper, and they work with a company that will provide affordable in-home assistance to residents. They have thought of everything, and the staff is wonderful!!! They take such good care of my loved one that it frees me up to have a relationship with him that isn’t consumed by care taking duties. I love this place!

I lived at Solstice from April to mid November. The staff and residents embraced me like family. The amenities are top notch. The food is delicious, menus offering a variety of tasty, delightful dishes. Housekeepers are consistently efficient and very attentive to detail. The office administration is warm, friendly and highly proficient and professional. I was proud to be part of the Solstice family. The experience made me a better friend and neighbor overall.

Nice visit with Emilee.... very courteous, met several friendly people. Beautiful facility. Saw a cottage apartment, not quite what I want to have due to small kitchen.... I like to entertain. But obvious relationship with residents , visited in dining room with some ladies who seem to love it there!

Older, but nice building. Staff are friendly and very nice. They seemed to care about the residents. The menu looked good. Very impressed with the honor given Veterans living there. Activity calendar was full. Apartments didn't work for my needs due to paralysis.

I took a tour there with my father, and they made a very, very good impression! When we got there we were greeted with a sign at the front door that said "Welcome (our names)" This truly did make my nervous father feel very welcome to be there, right as we entered the door. As we walked through the halls it was very clear that the staff had a GENUINELY good relationship with the residents. It was clean, and I really got the sense that staff truly cared about their work and the happiness of those that reside there. Giving 4 stars because my experience only consisted of an hour. I can't say what it's like to live there.

I love working for this community. We recently had over a foot of snow in the Tacoma area, which is very unusual. I was so proud of the team members as everyone single person made it in to serve our residents! The associates truly give a 100 % to the work that they do and I could not ask for a better team.

Solstice is a great place for active seniors. They have a fun staff and they do a lot of fun activities for the community. At Solstice seniors have a community around them so they dont feel so lonely. Their pricing is affordable and theyve newly remodeled so the apartments are up to date and modern.

Helpful, friendly They offer a nice senior living situation. Includes lots of services. Their prices is in line with other full service senior housing. As an out of state retiree, we need to learn more about the area traffic patterns. Otherwise, its a great location by the park. And a short walk to the ferry and water side businesses.

Staff was very nice. I helped a couple elderly people move their king size mattress into their new room and it was really nice talking to everyone along the way. The hallways are very large so that made it even easier.

Only saw pictures on line and then Emily I believe called and then I received calls frequently it seemed likeI actually found Solstice due to one of the employees that used to work where my Mom lives.From the photos and computer tour I found it to be Beautiful and friendly!!It wasnt until I Advised the person calling last time, how much Mom is paying and my Husband and I being retired and I with medical issues couldnt pay the extra, that was pretty much it.Sorry, but I appreciated the time.

This place is awesome. The residents are so kind and loving. Most of the employees are nice especially Vanessa the enrichment coordinator shes great at what she does, the residents adore her, she truly cares about them and works hard to keep them busy with activities. Great place for retired people to live!
