Well I just moved here from the San Francisco bay area and so far so good very nice place they keep it clean they have a lots of amenities that I like and enjoy the staff is really friendly great place for seniors I recommend I also Distance to museums shops and near a waterfront couldn't of picked a better plac

Harbor View Manor has a huge liability accountability because both elevators seem very unstable and unreliable when in use!!! Residential Safety should be a priority and those elevators need work quickly!!!

It advertises "Stadium District," but its proximity to Hilltop is a little too close for comfort. That was my only negative experience in checking out this site for my ailing and disabled mom. The decore is nice, as are the amenities. The staff and the tenants we met were all friendly and helpful. It's not an assisted living facility, offering no room care, nursing care, or included meals, though its lobby does feature a simple diner offering meals for around $5.

My step mother lives here and it's a nice enough place. Parking is a nightmare if you don't pay for a spot and for a place dedicated to the elderly they have very limited space for handicapped parking. And getting a wheelchair around outside is very difficult. Same with the units themselves. There are a lot of tight corners which can be difficult to navigate. The area is okay. It's across from a park but it's still in downtown Tacoma so take that for what it's worth. They frequently have issues with the elevators, which is obviously a problem when many of the residents cannot use the stairs. They have a nice little cafe type setup in the lobby and the woman who usually runs it is very nice (it's probably my favourite feature). The units are pet friendly, though I've only seen small animals so I'm not sure if there's a size restriction. The front desk people seem friendly with residents but seem to barely speak a word to guests. Overall it's a good option if you need something at a reasonable price but it's not 100% perfect.
