My Grandma Mary Teel lived here. She loved her little apartment and staff!! Everyone there was so nice and friendly. My only regret is that we didn't talk My grandma into living there sooner! She would have loved going out socializing with other residents. She lived to be 97 and I have nothing but good things to say about your facility!!! Much love to SS assisted living!!

I have worked with Sunnyside Assisted Living in a professional role as well as a personal role, and would recommend them as a place to live if someone was needing assistance. The care they provide has been wonderful. There have been some changes over the past few years, all of them positive! Nurses Melissa and Norma have really made such a difference.

Such caring staff, I love all the fun activities the residents have and my family also participated in the Easter egg hunt which was a blast. The staff celebrates all holidays and birthdays and I can see how precious these moments are for their residents and it melts my heart knowing they are in good hands.

Two years ago we began our search for a home for my dad. After 2 falls we knew that he needed a smaller facility where he could get more one on one care. Sunnyside Assisted Living was recommended to us by a family friend. The minute we walked through the doors and met the friendly staff we knew we were in the right place. The level of care and safety measures that are in place allow us to have peace of mind knowing that dad is safe and happy. Sunnyside Assisted Living has been a godsend to our family!!

My mother has been at Sunnyside Assisted Living for two years. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place. The staff is kind, caring, and has a truly loving attitude toward the residents. The staff lives their mission of serving others. The facility is beautiful - the furnishings, the woodwork, the living rooms, are lovely. The housekeeping staff does an amazing job of keeping everything clean. Every day there are activities for residents. My mom loves the bingo, happy hours, and the movies, but there are many more. The biggest endorsement is that my mom is happy there. I am forever grateful for this lovely place.

I was so pleased with the involvement Sunnyside Assisted Living has with their residents. They encourage the community to join in on celebrations and holiday fun. The residents seem very happy and the staff is genuinely sincere and caring towards the residents. My Mom Louise Cox... has been there atSSAL for more than 8 years. She is 84 years old. She has MS since ..she was 37. And ..Dementia I have just recently spoken to Cecilia (I have spoken to her in the past quite a few times as well) Our conversation was very nice as usual. She took the time to explain what is going on with mom and how she is mentally. Cecelia expressed her compassion for the things she does.. She has personally helped my mother.. as has others ....through moms time there. Including.. Rose ...the bus driver. She makes mom laugh I know..ive been it the bus with mom.. She makes sure there is counrty music on for mom .... on the way to her Doc Appts when I cant be there ! Just wanna say.... Kudos to the WHOLE team and their never ending concern for MY mother and all the patients. Sincerely Kimm Paden

Our experience with Sunnyside Assisted Living has been very good. We have a friend who is a resident there. Every time we visit we encounter friendly staff and positive attitudes. Since Covid restrictions have prevented us from visiting this year, we have been very impressed with how accommodating the staff has been at getting every little thing we drop off immediately to our friend. They have been amazing at checking in with her and keeping family informed. When our friend was sick, the staff was amazing! Melissa, the director, went above and beyond in making sure our friend was well taken care of. This included numerous calls and constant communication, even on her own time. She is a truly caring and compassionate person, and we are all so fortunate to have her in this position. It doesnt matter what time of day, or day of week ; everyone we have interacted with has been outstanding.

My brother Jack, has lived at Sun Terrace for 4-5 years and he just loves it. All the staff are so caring, and you just become one of the family. Until Covid hit us the activity director Rosie, had something for them to do all the time. Out to lunch, for rides in the counrty, and going to watch them feed the elk. And Valerie has some really wonderful meals. My brother was in a facility for rehab, and i was talking to him and he said i have to work real hard so i can get back to Sun Terrace, so i can have some of Vals good food..

I have them on Facebook and I love how the staff interact with all the residents. The residents always have a smile on there face and are enjoying themselves. I told my kids when Im ready to be in an Assisted living facility, this is where I would like to be.

I have a personal and professional connection to Sunnyside Assisted Living. It it one of the greatest ALF I have been to and worked with. The entire staff, from administrative to maintenance, care deeply for their residents, provide dignity, love, and respect and give the residents the opportunity to Live Life to the Fullest. I love seeing the interactions between staff and residents as it is always personalized, meaningful, and compassionate. ❤

I can not say enough good things about Sunnyside Assisted Living. The facility itself is always clean, well maintained, and very well managed. The residents are happy and welcoming to new comers. We have recently moved my mother-in-law into Sunnyside Assisted Living, and she has been met with the warmth of old friends. It has been such a joy to see how quickly she has settled in. Even behind masked faces you can see sincere smiles. The staff is absolutely amazing! These are the most caring, compassionate, and competent individuals. On a daily basis I am touched with actions that go far beyond their job requirements. The efforts during this pandemic, to bring some degree of normalcy to their residents has been truly heroic! I speak daily with my mother-in-law and hear how her day has been, who she met in the hall while doing laps, who has popped in just say hi, or bring treats, or celebrate her Birthday with cake, balloons, cards from staff and residents alike. I knew that we were all making a sound decision when choosing Sunnyside Assisted Living, I just didnt understand what an amazing family we were actually joining. I am so excited to reach this next phase in freeing up activities in our new norm as my mother-in-law is very active, and I can already see such a wonderful impact this place and these special people have had in improving her life through their care. I am very thankful.

As the family member of a current resident, I would highly recommend Sunnyside Assisted Living if you have a loved one in need of an assisted living facility. The staff has been caring and has shown great compassion in their daily dealings with my folks. This past year has been a challenge for everyone but these people have worked endlessly to provide quality care to their residents.

My mom lived there for five years until her Parkinsons started making her a fall risk. The staff is kind and professional, but they have a hard time keeping an RN on staff as head nurse. They should probably raise the salary on that position so they can recruit and retain a good person.

My mom was at Sun Terrace in Sunnyside, Wa. for 2 1/2 years. She received excellent care. The staff was very loving to my mom. I never had to worry about her or if she was being taken care of. They have many staff at Sun Terrace that has been there a very long time. I truly reccommend Sun Terrace in Sunnyside.

My mom has her own apartment at Sun Terrace. She's in assisted living and it's been working out well for her. The facility is a nice place. They have very nice staff that takes care of my mom's medication and food. My mom does arts and craft, go on a lot of outings, and participates in other social activities.
