They make promises they cannot keep. The office staff is slow to respond to inquiries and often does not even attempt to return calls or emails. They have violated the Medicaid billing guidelines and then decided to kick my mother out during her laast months of life. I do not recommend this facility at all

Staff are friendly and pleasant. Kind to the residents. We enjoyed a lovely holiday dinner with my brother who lives at Brookdale. Excellent food.

My mom has been here about a year. If she had not come to Brookdale Park Place I am not sure she would still be with us. They provide great care and a nice environment. She loves the food and the community here.

Brookdale Park Place has created a comfortable, safe, secure environment where staff members interact in friendly, kind, and respectful ways with all the residents. In short, they care. They care the residents are happy, healthy and socially connected. They encourage laughter and fun, joy and fulfillment for all. They are responsive to the unique health and safety needs of our loved one. Family is welcome and community engagement is a priority for the management team. I would highly recommend.

My Mom has lived at Brookdale park place now for over a year. I can only say positive things about the Staff and the residence. All the staff have been amazing, Management staff: Sandy, Karen, Sandy and Gary at the front desk, The nursing staff, Todd, and Anne and everyone else that works with my mom have been fantastic. Brookdale does so many activities with the residents, from adventure bus Mondays, Dances once a month, games, trivia, bingo, cards, uno, Exercise class, Skype with friends and so much more.Some reviews talk about disorganization I walked in to visit my mom randomly and there was some smoke coming from the kitchen area. The staff were on the radios, very organized , the fire alarm was buzzing they proceeded to evacuate the residents to the lawn area. The kitchen staff then brought out snacks and water for all the residents, and the nurses brought out blankets. I stood next to Sandy and let her know how impressed with how smooth everything went, and I was glad I witnessed this. it was not an emergency the fire department arrived with in minutes of the alarm going off. In an actual emergency I feel confident that my mom would be in good hands.I visited 6 other residential facilities including 2 other Brookdales in town. Brookdale Park place is by far the best because of these factors:1) Staff - my mom is in assisted living due to some short term memory issues. The staff really care about her, I have seen them interact many times, and these are not put on for a show, these are real people who care.2) the property is very large and beautiful, my mom likes to walk and its a 12 acre property. The dishman trails are right behind the property. a great place to take your family member for a hike.3) they have 3 levels of care on the same property, independent living, assisted living and Alzheimer care. This makes the transition from one area to another easier on your family membern closing Brookdale has been a blessing, I dont have to worry about my mom being by herself, she LOVES the people both staff and other residents. In her own words this has been such a good move for me, life couldnt be any better After a year of my mom living there I can highly recommend Brookdale.

As a professional in the field, a large amount of my time is spent at senior communities in the greater Spokane area. I can honestly say that when it comes to Retirement Communities Brookdale Park Place is the absolute best! Even though it is a larger property which includes independent living, assisted living, and memory care, it has a friendly small-town flair from the moment you arrive! It seems like no matter what the weather, when you arrive you are greeted by smiling faces socializing in their beautiful courtyard and the friendliness continues once inside. Upon entering, I am always greeted by a smile and the staffs dedication and overall commitment to providing each resident with the best service is obvious. I have attended several Brookdale activities and events and the thing I appreciate the most about Brookdales employees is their special way of engaging all residents and families through use of humor and compassion. There is always fun to be had! I truly appreciate the Community they have created and the service they provide.

We couldnt disagree more with Larry Gs review, but believe that Oras Vs review is spot on. My husbands mom has been at Brookdale Park Place for a couple of years now, and we couldnt be more pleased with the dedicated, committed staff, beginning at the top and going all the way through. We have even stayed for a week at a time (3X now) in the Lilac Room guest suite and have personally experienced the care and attention to detail that is exemplified by the Park Place staff. A big debt of gratitude is owed to all of them!

Its such a great feeling to enjoy going to work. Life enrichment is our goal for the seniors in our care, but my life has been enriched by my seniors as well. My coworkers are a dedicated bunch and are great to work with. There is a lot of laughter and joy that would not be there without them. Life is much to short to dread your work life. Viva la Clare Bridge! (Thats the extent of my French... not even certain its correct)

There is nothing better than loving the idea of going to work every day. This is so much more than a job and taking care of people. It is a blessing of an extended family that you get to spend your days with.
