My Mom, Momma Dee as she was known, was here for 8yrs or so. She passed away on April 12th. I can't give enough credit for her care while she was there. Was it perfect? No. We had our issues from time to time. Staff comes and goes, it's the nature of the beast but the core staff that knew and loved my Mom, from the nurses to the front office and maintenance and so many others, past and present. I would love to name them all individually but there's to many to mention. I'm going to respond to a previous review regarding Bonnie and Crystal, both of them have never been nothing but compassionate regarding my Mom. They've both dealt with my frustration from time to time but never hung up on me and would absolutely NEVER go to a resident and "yell" at them for payment. I love them both along with Kandi. Is Shelton Health and Rehab a perfect facility, no and no facility is, but if it was good enough for me to trust the well-being of my Mom for 8yrs....

My dad was a resident there after hip surgery, he absolutely loved it there . He didn't want to go home. The rehab department had him up and walking better than before surgery.

Shelton Health & Rehab is a great place to work! The facility has a family like feel and staff are team oriented. The facility is managed by EmpRes Healthcare. This company ensured that all facilities had and have all PPE needed. This was one less and very important aspect that made work life a bit easier during the COVID pandemic.

Shelton Health and Rehab has done a tremendous job for their residents, family members, and employees. SHR is a small but dedicated facility that makes all Shelton community members feel like family. They partner with local organizations and companies to bring in special events. They have an incredible leadership team, including their Administrator, Director of Nursing Services, Scheduling and Staffing Coordinator, Floor Nurses and RCMs. They have dedicated CNAs, cooking staff, and laundry team members. Who are responsible and caring. Anybody considering needing assistance with a family member can rest assured that they would be in good hands with the loving staff, nurses and administration at Shelton Health and Rehab. They will genuinely treat your loving family member as an extended part of their family. Truly, heroes, working day and night to provide the comfort, care, life affirming and health care needed for the people of Mason County.

The staff go out of their way to help the residents. The staff are caring and generous! The facility is clean and the residents all seem very happy and getting all their needs met in a timely manner. The food is delicious and the dining staff are really nice and fast in serving food. The kitchen smells wonderful and they too are kind and generous. I was very impressed with the personalized service that my family member received and I would tell anyone that this facility is the right one for your family members.
