I usted to work in this amazing place for two years as a CNA , my superiors Brian Doug and Ed are the most important part of this project, I really appreciate all the opportunities that I have there starting as a housekeeper , CNA and MedTech. This place work with high standards of Care, love ,ethic ,responsibility and respect to residents and crew staff. I'm moving out to my next professional step in my career and I never forget Quail Park of WS. Love this place.

My 90 year old mom moved to Quail Park during the pandemic - it was hard not to be able to be with her in person, to hold her hands and squeeze her shoulder, but the wonderful staff at QP did everything they could to make it possible for me to at least have window visits and technology visits. And while they were able to keep all the residents and staff safe from COVID, they still held my mom's hands and squeezed her shoulder. As soon as she arrived Mom's energy and ability to engage with people and activities improved tremendously. I saw how they didn't just take care of her, they loved her. Her family could call any time and speak with someone on staff who had interacted with and cared for our mom, they didn't have any staff turnover so we were able to know who we could ask for. I can't say enough good things about how professionally, carefully, and lovingly Quail Park cared for my mom. All my siblings agree, it was such a comfort during a difficult time. Mom died in April after a few months in hospice. With deepest gratitude to Quail Park staff and management.

We moved my Aunt from a facility in South Carolina to Quail Park in West Seattle, where we live. The experience we have had from Day One has been stellar. We had to bring her across Country, keep her dementia stable, and move her in to get acclimated. The staff are warm and wonderful and invaluable in coordinating everything. The food bring excitement to her days. The apartment she has is wonderful, and very light. No matter when I come to visit, my Aunt is clean and groomed, and almost always involved in an activity of some kind. Staff interactions with her, and all of the family members are warm (for her) and professional (for us.) Brian, the Director, sends messages to the families very regularly. QP offers a support group for the families and friends as we navigate the losses that come with changes in the capabilities of our loved ones. I have found the zoom sessions very helpful. It is hard to explain how wonderful it is to have a facility which specializes in memory care. All of the staff understand the manifestations of dementia and are always prepared to do the helpful things. The QP facility itself is beautiful and relatively new. From my first introduction to Edward, who coordinates with the families, I knew we had selected the right place. It is a premium care experience, but if your relative can afford it, QP is worth the investment.

My mother has been a resident for about 9 months. Everything about the move in process was so smooth. The people that work there truly care. I looked at eight places and QP was by far the best. I cant recommend enough.

During this time of utmost concern for vulnerable seniors with memory and health issues, I have been very impressed with the team and program at Quail Park. I rest well knowing they are taking good care of my 92-year-old father-in-law.

From my first phone call and visit, the staff at Quail Park have gone out of their way to answer a myriad of questions, and to take the time to help me understand the protocols of Quail Park. They truly care about the residents, their health and safety. With the current Covid 19 crisis, they cant be too cautious. There are monthly Zoom calls for family members and any question or suggestion are welcomed. I am very impressed with the quality of care and concern expressed for each resident and the weekly activities for the residents are well thought through and the smiles are a mile wide.

I am leaving this review after visiting the Quail Park community a couple of times. The memory care environment is impressive, and the residents seem very happy and active. Ed, their community relations Director, is professional and has a real passion for finding the right solution for you or your family member. I can genuinely say this memory care community and staff are genuinely dedicated and compassionate about helping seniors.

My 95-year-old mother lived with me for almost seven years after my father died. I wanted her to stay with me until the end but her Alzheimers progression made that impossible. I hired in-home caregiver for while I was at work and then hired another to stay overnight so I would be able to sleep through the night. Despite having wonderful caregivers, it just wasnt enough. My niece and I toured Quail Park in March 2020 and gathered information. After the tour, we were confident this was the best choice and mom moved in mid-April. Quail Park is set up for people with memory issues; there are so many extra touches to make things comfortable for the residents. I glanced at the posted menu during the tour expecting to see variations of Mystery Meat and dry potatoes and was happy to see a menu of foods that I would actually want to eat – a Mediterranean diet. The facility is beautiful and new and clean and fantastic. But the thing that really stands out to me is the people working there. I appreciate the kindness of the reception staff who greet us and who interact so sweetly with my mother. I appreciate the caregivers who help mom call me when she is having a tough day. I appreciate the caregiver who paints her nails and goes through her photo album with her. I appreciate the nursing staff who care for mom. She is doing so much better there in an environment created for someone just like her. I appreciate the administrative staff who make tough decisions about Covid restrictions and keep my mother and the other residents safe. Placing my mother was hard but it allows me to just be her daughter again and I have peace of mind knowing she is safe and well-cared-for.

I have a good friend who is now at Quail Park of West Seattle. I am so glad he is in such a warm and kind place. The staff are all wonderful (especially now during the pandemic). All of his friends and family are really glad and know he is getting the best possible care and much more social interaction than he was getting at his last place.

Our family could not be happier having our father reside at Quail Park! The building is beautiful and essentially in brand new condition; the staff is very caring and engaged; and perhaps the most important part is the dedication to building community among the residents. Those connections and relationships are more important than ever.

My dad recently moved into Quail Park, and it has been a very positive experience for him and for our entire family. Beautiful new facilities, a lovely apartment with a sweeping view of the Cascades, caring and friendly staff, outstanding meals and activities, and conveniently located just a few short blocks to the Alaska Junction with all its restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

Quail Park of West Seattle is led by an amazing team of caring professionals. Their Executive Director Brian who is also a licensed nurse will go above and beyond for his residents and his employees. The setting and atmosphere is perfect for Memory Care and the design is very home-like. Residents get a lot of one-on-one time with the Life Engagement programming led by Nicole who is passionate about providing meaningful experiences. Their nursing director Dana is thorough and detailed. She is always smiling and very funny. Even their Plant Operations Director Doug spends time with the residents and cares very much for their well-being. He takes time every day to be with them and help anyway he can. Mandy heads up the dining program and is a talented Chef. She also cares about the residents beyond just great food. This community is worth taking the time to see and is a better alternative than an Adult Family Home with high school and elementary school visits, music therapy, virtual reality, art therapy, pet therapy, and tons of live music and performers. If you need Dementia, Parkinsons or Alzheimers care in Seattle I highly recommend Quail Park Memory Care of West Seattle. Go to one of their support groups for Parkinsons or Dementia!

My mother lives in Quail Park West Seattle, along with her little dog. The care staff are kind and helpful, led by Brian, who seems on top of everything all the time. He is practical and realistic. The food is excellent and the Chef Mandy is thoughtful. (Mom is vegetarian.) Family members are welcome to join for meals (with a little notice appreciated). The facility is an intimate space, human scale. That is so important for the all-memory care residents. They can find and access their apartments and the common spaces independently. Quail Park is a secure place, but in an understated way that mostly flies under the residents radar. The activities schedule is fun and mixes low-key with bigger events. Family members are welcome to join the visits from Henry the Therapy Dog, or the Drumming Circle, or whatever. Each week has an outing or two outside Quail Park, too. Tina, the Activities Director, rocks! Thoughtful touches are everywhere at Quail Park, including small things like closet lights that turn on automatically when you walk in. A key item for my mom, is that she has her own room and has her own mini-split, so her room is at her preferred temperature. And, because she has her own room, her small dog has been able to join her. The leadership staff are a pleasure to work with, helpful with information and problem-solving. Heres a shout out to Michael, Elizabeth, and Doug! Overall, despite some minor hiccups that all new facilities have, Quail Park has been a blessing for my family and for my mom. I visit almost daily, and I have grown fond of the other residents, also. They are a friendly, enjoyable group. And now Ro-Ro the Husky has joined the family. Everyones dog. Dementia runs on one side of my family, so we have had close contact with a variety of memory care options, over many years. I have never experienced a facility that ticks all the boxes like Quail Park does. Is it perfect? - Of course not. Is it the best Ive ever experienced? - Absolutely yes.

My mother came to Quail Park-West Seattle in the late summer, 2018. After 50 years in our family home here in West Seattle and after losing her husband, my dad, after 62 years of marriage she was very much in need of a place that could address her physical, medical, emotional and social needs. Quail Park has done all of that with the utmost professionalism and compassion. The care, food, activities and surroundings are all excellent. My mom adjusted immediately to her new home. That says a lot as she was a geriatric RN in a West Seattle retirement community for 25 years. I highly recommend Quail Park-West Seattle.
