Worked here as a contractor. 3rd day, offered free lunch by the head chef- one of the best briskets I've ever tasted. The management and medical teams here were all very polite and professional. Residents were cheerful and well looked-after. Everything is clean and bright. So many fun activities going on here, almost makes me wish I was old enough to retire. Thanks to everyone here!

I have been working with Fred Lind Manor for a number of years but had my first opportunity to visit earlier this month for their 80th anniversary celebration. I was so impressed with the interaction of staff and residents and how they incorporated the residents into the program. Also, their facility, being in a neighborhood is special. Having recently had a family member at a different senior community, I can tell that they really do care at Fred Lind. The care team respects the residents, and it really does show in how much the residents love it there.

At Fred Lind Manor's recent 80th Anniversary Celebration party, I very much enjoyed the wonderful hors d'oerves and drinks as well as the interesting and informative presentations. However, the piece de resistance was a one-bedroom apartment I got to see during the following tour! It would be absolutely perfect, IF I were ready to move. Wisely or unwisely, I'm not ready yet, so someone who is will be extremely fortunate to get the apartment that's right next to the short hall leading to the garden area and right around the corner from the dining room. I hope you enjoy it as much as I would!

I love this community! The staff is always kind and helpful and the vibe is happy. Their salon is adorable and my company comes there for some in home healthcare. Asa is a reliable, thoughtful and get-things-done kind of leader. I recommend this community if you are looking for a nice independent living place to be with good, kind people surrounding you.

The Executive director is very kind and professional. Her husband is the head chef and is one of those people that can make anyone feel comfortable. Great place but has limited parking.

Fred Lind is a pleasant part of the neighborhood but a little like a mystery. This changed when they offered a dog celebration out on their cool (especially on a hot day) patio for all the neighbor dogs and respective owners to stop by to say hi and partake in party events. Really great to meet some of the residents and staff making such a sweet effort to connect with the community.

I am a Senior Housing Advisor and work with most all of the senior retirement communities in King and Snohomish counties. At Fred Lind Manor, I have experienced excellent and consistent communication and care regarding my clients over many years. When bringing my clients to Fred Lind, I feel confident that they will be treated with respect and given a full and thorough tour. This is so important when making the very big decision to move to retirement and assisted living communities.

Oops, I rewrote this because my previous review disappeared for a while and I LOVE this community! Truly feels like a warm, welcoming family. Small yet all the amenities with the beautiful new remodel! Most importantly is the caliber and commitment of the care staff. Definite 5 star.

My mother is a resident at Fred Lind Manor. They take wonderful care of her. I visit from Pittsburgh often and I stay with her for an approx week. Everything she needs is provided. I would recommend Fred Lind Manor to anyone who needs their care. The staff and nurses are available as needed. The food is not that bad. Mom and I especially love the salad bar. Her appartment is lovely. I'm excited to visit in July for her birthday again. We spend quality time together. Thank you for reading my comment. Jan

Depressing environment. Food is repetitive and unimaginative. Building has no character and is disintegrating. Residents need a lot of assistance but nursing staff is sparse. Dining room is choked with wheelchairs and walkers. Elevators are antiques. They are unresponsive and scarey.

I and my sisters are totally preoccupied with our jobs, so we decided to place Mom in a nursing home. It was really heartbreaking, but we don't have the choice. Glad that I found this Assisted Living Fred Lind Manor online. It was way better than nursing homes! We went to Fred Lind Manor to check out the place. Well it was ok. It's wonderful, but I cannot be happy that time, because I know my Mom hates us for leaving her.After a couple of weeks, my Mom told me that Fred Lind Manor is a huge family; they are all well taken care of. So that's it. It was a relief for me and my sisters knowing that my Mom is happy!
