Aegis Living Marymoor is exceptional! My mother was 92 when she moved to Aegis and we so wish she would have moved there years ago. At home, she was just sitting in front of her TV most of the day, not getting excercise and feeling lonely. At Aegis, she immediately pepped up as the staff is wonderful, so loving and caring. The caregivers are amazing - Milia is my favorite, but they are all excellent. Mom is now active again, eating delicious healthly meals with good company at her table. She attends the many social activites such as sing-a-long, bingo, movie night and so many more. Check out their monthly calendar, it's filled with so many choices of things to do! I have only good things to say about Aegis Living Marymoor. The manager, Michelle Vercruysse is excellent (caring, organized, super responsive to our needs). The entire team deserves 5 Stars! Special kudos for Julie Hay who is the first person you talk to when you want to move there, and Kady Douglas the Life Enrichment director and the lady that makes all the fun happen! I am grateful to each of you for all you've done to keep mom happy and healthly in her new home.

Aegis Living Marymoor is wonderful! I recently had to find an Assisted Living Community for my 90 year old Dad on short notice. I had no prior experience with this and it was so daunting. From day one, the Marketing Director Marissa was outstanding. She guided me through the fog that I was feeling with compassion and empathy. She was patient and kind during a difficult time. She is amazing and Aegis is blessed to have her! She was willing to accommodate every single request I had and she accomplished it all very quickly. The community is warm and cozy and the biggest difference I saw from the other communities I visited (4 others!) was that the residents were out of their rooms and socializing. Lots of smiles. The staff is wonderful, Roger the manager obviously cares deeply for his residents and is very protective of them. It’s a lovely community and the residents are so fortunate to live there!

My rating is a 4.5 star. The staff at Marymoor is outstanding. They all work hard to meet the needs of my Dad. Upon returning from a 2 week vacation, I found him to be doing so well. He looked clean, neat and well-cared for. From the nursing staff to the care-givers who work hard to keep residents safe, clean and cared for, I thank you. The staff members in management responsible for resident well-being, I thank you too.Why the 1, 2 star rating you ask? It boils down to cost increases. I understand and totally support the care-givers cost increase. I so appreciate all they have to do for the residents. It is NOT an easy job! But building costs for Dads room increases every year. This includes room cleaning each week, laundry 3 times, week and food. My food bill goes up too but the increase seems out of proportion, when the cost is considered per day. I also saw a surprise charge for alcohol consumed at the Christmas dinner and was told it was the law to charge for that. I was unaware of that new charge which may have been in part my own ignorance. Yet, the cost of the dinner remained the same. We were told last year of the cost increase for the holiday celebrations were to include the alcohol.Marymoor does so much for their residents through care, activities inside and outside the building and a higher quality in food. They have always done that. Maybe thats what sets them apart of other facilities. I am trusting that they are doing the best with their funds in order to maintain the facility.

Went to tour this community...fantastic! Love the location, and the entrance is very welcoming. You get this warm, cozy...home feeling when you walk in. The rooms are very nice, I love the Theater and the Man Cave. Everyone has options for their taste of relaxation. I even was able to have lunch...that day the chef was welcoming a Hungarian gentleman that had moved over from the East Coast with Goulash! It was fantastic...not only the food but the fact that Aegis was welcoming a new resident in such a manner. This is must to tour and a great community to be a part of.
