Lovely facility, but unfortunately the management meddle in the private affairs of their residents. My dear friend requested a copy of his own power of attorney and was refused! I guess they want him to stay against his will. Not very professional. That's not the kind of help we need!

I love this place. it's amazing they make great grilled cheese sandwiches and tater tot's. And the receptionist is very kind specially Emily. And another employee Alexis she is very caring and kind.Last but definitely not least the Ed (executive director) she is AMAZING my favorite employee of all she's very kind nice and caring. But the place overall great!

My sister was in memory care until 12/14/22. Staff was great and took good care of her. The care that she received was great and the staff was professional and took very good care of her and for the the amount of money that we paid I feel that it was worth it for her to be taking care of so good when I checked on her daily or every other day or whatever it was that I was able to come up to see her thank you

Spent Easter Sunday here with my grandma. The staff were very friendly. The highlight was the staff putting on costumes and passing out Easter candy!

Let's start with the good stuff. The current care staff really seem to care about the residents. Staff are friendly and offer their time and attention to the residents. Staff do quit with some frequency. Offering a higher wage would attract and keep employees there. Corporate office balked at the suggestion. Makes you wonder if employees matter. There should be more staff at night. Staffing is too low, typically only a total of 2-3 staff collectively in Assisted and Independent living. The Management team are friendly and in my experience respond to our needs. However, they are also overworked. Assistant positions seem to lack the authority to take care of issues. The building is nice, new and clean. There are lots of activities. Food is usually quite good. Now the bad: Dining room serving staff are ridiculously slow. Inept. Complaints to management yield no results. Jean is slow. If you ask for anything she barks at you. Rude and unacceptable. Younger servers are just as slow. For the price residents pay you should expect and receive top notch service, but you don't.

I would like to give a shout out to Jerry at Bonaventure in Puyallup. He was so great to us and my parents. It's a beautiful place and the people were so kind. They went out of there way to make my parents comfortable. We haven't made a decision yet for a move but will definitely keep this place as a possibility. Thank you Jerry for all the work you did to make my parents feel comfortable.

I chose Bonaventure of Puyallup to rid myself of the obligation of home maintenance and extra stress. There was not another location that offered cottages; especially with the quality of the ones they are offering. I am not ready to give up my independence, and I feel like the cottages that they offer will allow me to remain as independent as possible. Yet, still have amazing amenities. I do not normally get out much to socialize, but have attended many of their events that have given me so much opportunity to meet people & learn about the company. There was not another location that offered as many amenities as they do. The staff have been very personable and knowledgeable concerning what's available, what a person needs, and able to really narrow down what a person wants. There is a special feeling when you walk in to their office, which I did not get at any other location. I would definitely refer others to Bonaventure of Puyallup.

This is going to be an amazing place to live ! I just love Cheryl the director . She is so organized and on top on everything . She is putting on wonderful events for those interested in signing up for a new residence ! Everyone I have meet here have such warm hearts and beautiful smiles . I love to visit them all. Narrisa, Denise and Nicole are also there to help you with any of your needs ! What more can you ask for ! A beautiful place to live with such caring people surrounding you !!!

When my parent was ready to move onto retirement living we were blessed to have the opportunity to move her into a Bonaventure Property. Always a friendly and kind feeling from the staff. Events that are fun and exciting going on a regular basis keeping you as busy as you want while living here. Great food, transportation services and the list goes on. Excited to see the completion of the new Puyallup property!

I've been a Californian most of my adult life but sadly the state has become increasingly expensive and frustratingly congested 24/7. I'm also now at a point in my life where I want to be close to family. I have a daughter in Tacoma and my California-born and raised son moved to the East Coast a few years ago. While visiting the Silver Creek location last March I learned of the plans for the new Bonaventure in Puyallup. All of the plans I have seen depict what I believe will be an active and vibrant community. From my first meeting with Nerissa and a follow up meeting with her assistant, Cheryl, I have been impressed with the genuinely warm reception. I admit to having had some trepidation initially but all that has faded due to the ongoing communication and consistent efforts to maintain a comfortable dialog. I now look forward with eager anticipation to move in to my cottage and meet all the friends I am sure to find at my new home.

Their professionalism and positive attitude is always refreshing to be around. It is easy to see their excitement about their new facility. The team at Bonaventure Puyallup (Nerissa, Cheryl, Denise) are enthusiastic and committed to the community they serve. The options for retirement living at this location are broad with lots of options. I've toured the different options for family members and impressed with the amenities.
