The Discovery View offers independent living as the main focus in a complete package of senior care services.
Every unit has its own climate control, bathroom, as well as spacious closets that are great for storage. All residents have access to landscaped grounds and common areas. The staff is some of the best in Port Townsend, they're always available to help with any level of services our residents need. We can assist with medical reminders to designing exercise programs and scheduling entertainment events. We designed the dining area at Discovery View to be a cozy, home style setting for our residents and family members. Our specialty is customized menus that provide delicious, home cooked meals that meet the needs of all residents.

We offer seniors the latest amenities in comfort that they would enjoy in the comfort of their own homes. Vegetarian, Activities Offsite, Outdoor Common Areas, Activities Onsite, Devotional Services Offsite, Meals Provided, Indoor Common Areas, Beautician Onsite are available for all residents. I've lived at Discovery View for over 5 years. Even though there's been a skeleton staff since the Covid quarantine, the manager and staff have done a great job keeping the services running well and the property maintained. It's a nice place to live.

I’m so happy I got into this retirement community! It’s a wonderful place to live. They offer great meals and someone to help me with my housekeeping! The residents are wonderful and the staff is so kind and helpful!

I’m very happy with Discovery View. It’s a great place to live and the staff are wonderful. My apartment is the perfect size for one person and I feel very much “at home”. The added benefit of two meals a day and biweekly housekeeping makes me almost feel spoiled!! I couldn’t have asked for a place that better fits my needs. Having a small dog as my companion the private dog park at Discovery View is such a bonus! The grounds are lovely and everything is well kept. I highly recommend this as a perfect place to land.

The apartments are small but comfortable. The layout is is well done but could have used a breakfast bar. As for the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds, I give them a 5! They take terrific care of the building and the grounds and involve the community in gardening activities. The management is caring and kind. They work hard to please the tenants and to make it a safe, clean, and fun place to live. Thank you to the Management and Staff at Discovery View in Port Townsend, WA!
