Visited in December for my mom who is moving from Texas. We arranged a tour with Julia just before holidays. The lobby was decorated with a big gorgeous Christmas tree and throughout the building was decor for the season. We are not easily pleased and really were worried about the process of getting into just the right place. Knowing that no place is going to be perfect, we ultimately decided on Bonaventure and aren’t disappointed in the least. The apt was recently painted and new carpeting installed. Everything seems clean and maintenance was working to install new closet shelves. We like that everything we wanted was included in the price of monthly rent. If mom needs to convert to assisted living, she can stay in same apt and services will be upgraded at a higher cost but at least she’ll be in same place. Everyone we encountered was friendly and said they liked living there and had made good friends in short time. Julia was our tour guide and showed us a lounge area where they have happy hours, sewing room complete with drawers of fabrics, tv room for watching on big screens with popcorn machine, game/puzzle room, crafting room, library, private dining rooms plus beautiful back patio. The restaurant or cafe treated everyone like fine dining restaurant. Busy during bfast & dinner but it’s my understanding that can take either meal in her room as she chooses. We are almost ready to move mom into her new place and she’s very excited. Julia has gone above and beyond by returning the many texts and questions, she is very cheerful and genuinely seems to care about the residents. We have had a very positive experience so far. If there are any glaring concerns I feel like we’d know quickly. Everyone we met is very open and willing to share their experiences. If mom wants to cocoon in her place that is fine too. No pressure at all to participate in activities but they have them daily. Will take pics and post before and after move-in.

I stopped by one day to set up a tour for my mom and became part of the family. Julia gave us a tour the same day. My mom moved in 3 weeks later and it’s been the greatest experience ever. My mom is happy here and she’s made friends!!

My uncle Teddy brought his mom, Thelma here this past summer. When I came to visit I was blown away at how friendly the staff was and how delicious the food is. Brent the server was fantastic in his diligence for making sure her tomato juice was never empty. Christina who runs it was very attentive and detail oriented at getting Thelma moved in and comfortable. Whenever I go in there I feel like she is everywhere at once! Thelma got a perm at the in-house beauty salon, probably her best ever. ???

My aunt lives at Park Vista. My family and myself visit her frequently and I can honestly say we are so happy we chose this community. When you walk in everyone is so nice and friendly and welcoming. My aunt is getting the care she needs and has made so many friends its so nice to see her so happy. My family and I attended an event they had a Harvest festival and it was so fun and all the residents were having a good time! I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for assisted living for there family.

Wanted to take a moment say that this place is amazing. We recently moved my father into the Assisted Living side of Park Vista in Port Orchard. From the first day, the entire staff embraced him. Whats unique, is that everyone takes the time to develop their own special relationship with each of the residents. My father is a tough cookie to please, and he loves everyone here. The management team really goes above and beyond by consistently keeping me updated with any particular needs or requests that I may have. Thanks to park Vista for taking exceptional care of my loved ones!

Friendly energenic...its great to walk into a building and feel welcome and see so much interaction between the staff and residents ...that is what interested me in applying for employment with park vista ...I walked in employed threw a private company careing for someone who resided at park vista but lived independently ...when I walked in everyone smiled and greeted me . I saw and felt the enjoyment from being there just for a few hours and was curious to be involved ...absolutly satisfied that I did and proud of the courage of applying to be included in such a amazing company and what they do .I am proud to be apart of This community here ! Park Vista by Bonaventure in Port Orchard, Washington is an amazing facility. The staff is eager to assist. I would like to specifically acknowledge the memory care department. Debbie, Aubrey and the entire staff have been exceptional in the way they take care of my mother. My mother, who has dementia, was at another facility, and was rapidly decreasing mentally and physically. My family was in a constant state of worry. Since we moved her to Park Vista, she has made a dramatic turn for the better. Debbie and her staff offer a unique environment that caters to the specific needs of each resident. We are extremely thankful for the job they do.

I have had the pleasure of working at Park Vista for 2 years now, starting out as a receptionist then moving into the most exciting job Ive ever had - an Activity Director. Ive learned a lot from the administrators-staff around me and truly feel like we are one big family. As an employee there is SO much opportunity for growth within the company, Bonaventure prides themselves on bettering the education and lives of us all, making it easy to keep up with this ever changing industry. When it comes to the residents, the are all quite happy and at home. The staff know every residents name, pay attention to their needs and are always finding ways to make them smile. This place couldnt be successful without the genuine love and attention the care staff provide these residents. Im proud to be a part of the Park Vista Family.

Mom loves it here. We looked at 6 communities in the surrounding areas and it is worth the drive for us to come from Bremerton to see her. She is happy, the staff is friendly and I will say that we recommend this community to everyone. When they told us it was a cruise ship on land, they were not joking. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place.
