Lidia’s is an Adult Family Home of the highest standards. My mother received wonderful, compassionate care here for the last year and a half of her life. Lidia is very experienced with eldercare and quickly responds to residents’ health care needs, especially as health issues change near the end of life. Mom was always, well-dressed, well-groomed, warm, comfortable, and clearly well-cared for. The home itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. Individual bedrooms are attractively furnished, each with an attached bathroom. As others have said, meals are wonderful. Lidia is a great cook and meals are well-rounded, healthy, appealing, incorporate seasonal foods, and also tailored to residents’ needs. Celebrations of birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions make residents feel honored and part of the family. Lidia’s caregivers are excellent and very conscientious about their work. I highly recommend Lidia’s if you are looking for an adult family home for your loved one.

My mother, Trudie Yarbrough, lived and was cared for, at Lidias Adult Family Home, LLC, from January 27, 2017 until she died on January 15, 2019. My mother received excellent, very personal and loving care from Lidia and all the staff. Lidia and her staff are quite knowledgeable of elder care. They are kind, compassionate, always treating the residents with exceptional respect and care. Lidias AFH is equipped with all the necessary equipment needed to care for her residents including hospital bed, wheeled tables, alarms, specialty chair and accessible bathroom facilities. Additionally, Lidia contracts with a local pharmacy to provide medication needed for each person and has nurse delegation status. Lidia and her staff provide delicious and nutritious cuisine, which is prepared and served according to each residents needs. Meal times are scheduled and residents (if able) gather together for meals and socialization three times daily. Caregivers assist people with eating if needed.

My mother was a resident of Lidias Adult Family Home for about two years. I cant say enough about how kind and caring Lidia and her staff were to my mom. The home and grounds are immaculate. The home made meals were nutritious and tasty. This is a place I wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone.

My mom spent her final 6 years in this most beautiful and loving home. Lidia and her staff cared for and, I believe, loved my mom. My mom was always immaculate and relaxed, fed incredible homemade food and recognized for the stellar person she had been. As she descended deeper into Alzheimers Lidia helped my mom maintain her dignity and kept her as active as possible. In every way, I am extremely happy that we found Lidia and were accepted into her care. She creates the sweetest and safest home when it doesnt work in your own home. If youre navigating this path for a loved one know that, without reservation, we highly recommend Lidias. We feel so lucky we found her.

I placed my mother with Lidia in Nov 2019, after time in a nursing home. It was such a wonderful improvement in care from the skilled nursing facility she came from. Lidias staff is wonderful, it is a beautiful and welcoming home, the food is excellent and the treatment is first class. Lidia celebrates birthdays and holidays with her residents and invites the families to participate. Lidia provides activities for her residents, my Mom used to really enjoy their activity days. The residents have privacy with attached bathrooms and the staff is very attentive. I see some negative reviews here and I caution people that online reviews are not the most trusted source of information. If you are interested in Lidias, I recommend you stop by for a visit - my first visit convinced me right away that it was the place for our loved one. Lidia will also show you a notebook with dozens of letters of recommendation highly praising her and her wonderful home.

My mother was a resident of Lidia's Adult Family Home on the west side of Olympia for about two years. My mother had the best care possible. Lidia and her staff were capable and caring and always made sure my mother was clean and comfortable. The home and grounds were immaculate. The home made meals were nutritious and delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone looking for a loving place for their parent.
