The staff is always helpful, watching out for all the seniors living here. They really do care, and do their best to help out with all the conundrums of modern day to day life. Whether it be a maintenance call to help with the noisy refrigerator or bringing concerns about a neighbor in the building, nothing is to big or small to bring to them, and there is always a prompt response no matter the concern. I know al the front office staff by name as well as all the people on maintenance and vice versa. I like them all! They are A+

I moved to (510) Boardwalk apartments about 1 year ago because it was affordable and the location. I enjoy being able to safely walk to so many wonderful places such as Farmer's Market, the Percival Landing waterfront, Swantown, the Capitol and so much more. Options to the many restaurants who offer Happy Hour menus is a bonus. But, most meaningful to me is our staff, from office to maintenance. They are professional, friendly, happy, kind and always take the time to listen. We have a monthly calendar that is full of so many fun activities and gatherings which help to give us the quality and healthy lives we deserve as seniors.

I enjoy living in my apartment on the corner of Building B. I can see people continually heading to the farmers market which is about a block or so away. There is A LOT of wildlife that live in the tall evergreen trees across the street such as herons , eagles and other types of birds that love the waterfront. I have noticed there are always a variety of activities to choose from in both buildings A and B. You just sign up depending on what you feel like doing I’m slowly getting into a rhythm here and It seems I meet someone new in the elevator each week. The office staff for both buildings are Cyndi, Ana and Darien. They are so helpful and very kind. Ana was very instrumental in helping me with the application process when I moved in here. I’ve just recently had more interaction with the maintenance staff which consists of Dave, Brenin and Randall. They are also kind, respectful and very busy! I can see that it takes this great team working together to keep things running smoothly around here. The most important aspect that stands out to me is that ALL of the staff really seem to enjoy their jobs here. I have witnessed the respectful interactions with the residents on several occasions and you can tell the residents trust the staff. I’m comfortable here and enjoy being close to all of the great restaurants and venues I enjoy. One negative thing the price you pay for being close to the waterfront and that’s SEAGULL DROPPINGS!!!!! Otherwise it looks like a good summer ahead!

I have lived here four wonderful years. Yes the location is fabulous, apartments well designed but what really makes this a great place to live is the caring staff. Bar none, they all rock. On a daily basis they are professional, consistently service oriented and focused on making our life here the best it can be. Recently our lobby and common area were upgraded into a brighter, vibrant more welcoming space. Staff meticulously chose paint colors and made sure the flooring compliments that choice. They did the work with care, giving us plenty of warning that the common space would be off limits for a few days. The result is an enjoyable space for gatherings and activities. Seriously, they are wonderful and appreciated greatly by the residents.

My dad lived here. Prime location to shops and restaurants, close to a beautiful clean park and waterfront, friendly neighbors in the building, great staff and a calendar of activities for the residents. The negative window maintenance would be lovely, they are cloudy and uninviting, the homeless shelter is across the street so there are always homeless people outside and on the sidewalks. Updates to the apartments would be wonderful as they are very dated. Overall my dad enjoyed it here and made some great friends.

My best friend just moved here with her husband. Place is small but doable. I can only speak for bldg A of the two and the ground floor: security door- difficult access to strangers, relative ease for guests; limited off street parking and metered parking 9-5 M-F; 75/hr; parking not unattainable for being 1 block off 4th or State St in downtown Oly; nearby parks, Marina, dining, groceries, entertainment all within 1 block; neighbors in bldg quiet and friendly; pets welcome as residents; all tenants front doors on inner hallway with bldg exterior windows; central courtyard with raised bed pea patch coming soon; onsite laundry, mailboxes, sm. library & community center with TV, PC, games and full kitchen. 2 trolleys at entrance to transport groceries, etc to your door; elevator to reach the other floors; lockboxes at door of each residence for use by emergency response teams to access ppl in need. Residents gather for Bible studies, potlucks and other events. I think I covered almost everything I observed on my 4 visits since I helped move her in... Enjoy your visit/ stay’

I love living here. I thought I wouldn't be comfortable in a senior community, but I was wrong. Everyone is so friendly and warm. And it's very secure. I feel very safe.

Lack of management in Bldg A. Homeless are a problem in this Bldg. No fire escape for limited mobility residents if elevator’s are shut down we on the upper floors are dead meat because we cannot use the stairs wit walkers and electric wheelchairs-very scary ! ! !

Building B is a nicer bunch of residents building A is across from the homeless shelter and they don't like any homeless people at all and they are very rude to anyone coming into the building my mom lives there and they will not let me in if my mom can't find her phone to buzz me in and I get her on Alexa dot and they can hear her struggling to breath and trying to figure out how to let me in they will go in and pull the door closed behind them or just stand on inside of door waiting for me to leave or get buzzed in before they open the door and they all know my mom has been there going on two years and I am her only car giver I go every day. And sadly when she can't find her phone or is too sick . I have to go back home because they will not let anyone else have a key even a care giver even though my mom is bed ridden . So do not go to the building by the storage place choose the other building it's like night and day. They even write extra notss on posted notices . Like the laundry room doors they circle the hours and if you have clothes even in the dryer after 8 pm they open the dryer so your clothes don't dry. They are very rude. But the other building B had an anti bullying group meeting and they have activities they do together in the group room. But the matinence are great .

Not what it used to be. 5 years ago it was a clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. They cared about the tenants. Now they don’t care much and the place is always dirty. Spiderwebs everywhere, floors are dirty and rarely vacuumed, and it smells. Elevator and access doors do not always work and ants in apartments. Not to mention homeless who live outside the doors and adjacent streets. It’s not safe.

If I had but one complaint it would be the parking. There is not enough parking for the tenants let alone visitors. If They could do something about the parking this would be a fantastic place.

Apart from the issue with my windows leaking, and current outside work on my side of the building including ongoing window replacement work, I am happy with my apartment home so far. I understand the windows leaking issue is beyond the staff control and they have been quick about addressing it. The job isn't done but I understand the window replacement and subsequent work of any repairs needed to the inside wall to address the high moisture levels is in progress.

My longtime friend just moved here and the building is very clean and modern with nice seating area outside both entrances and exits landscaping is very well maintained. My only problem...minding that it's a senior living place...is is that some residents are way too nosey and profile obsessive. Be blessed everyone
