We helped my mom settle in this November. Christopher Hicks, the marketing director, was helpful and thoughtful. The staff is warm, friendly, caring and responsive. Solstice has a community feel to it. The staff and residents take care of each other. I highly recommend them.

We moved my 86-year old mother to Solstice Normandy Park from TN in October 2023. The Director of Sales and Marketing, Chris Hicks, has been extremely responsive to both my inquiries and requests as a family member, and to my mother as a resident. He is warm and charming and a great fit for working with elders. In fact, the staff in general has been very attentive and positive. The concierge team, Sakarleen & Elijah, are great as well. They recognized me after only a few days and started greeting me by name when I came to visit. Elijah made a point to ensure my mom had a place to sit with other residents at mealtimes, and Sakarleen helped get her signed up for one of their vaccine clinics. My mother's studio unit is quite large and has good storage space (2 closets). I would have said the facility design was a bit dated, but it is currently undergoing a refresh/remodel (new paint/flooring) which will be completed before the end of the year and is sprucing things up quite a bit. Solstice is a smaller facility which means the residents get to know each other and the staff. My mother has described the food as reasonably good and has started snubbing us upon occasion in order to eat with her social group, which I take as a positive sign she is fitting in. There is also a very concerted effort to engage residents socially with holiday celebrations and ongoing activities. As much as you hear negative things about living facilities for seniors, I would not hesitate to have a loved one here (heck, I would be happy to live here myself!).

$2,295 and Up? Rents. Seniors Living our Golden Yrs. And SSI don't pay enough. Most of these Seniors here have Rich Families. Sad. I been here Visit many times and Dining Good but Rents Should be $500 to $1000 a month 2023 Pricing. Mike

Great place for seniors, great management and clean hygienic place with alot of spaces and many daily programs social and sport that seniors need to participate in, all meals served daily with healthy delicious recipes that fit seniors. I spent very good time visiting this senior housing and listening to the details given to me by the management representative....my name is Faez and a senior citizen in Washington state.

Ask for detailed examples regarding the amenities promised and advertised in this place before you move here or send your loved ones here. The things I was told as I shopped around ended up being highly exaggerated or down right lies. "Leave the driving to us" actually means they will get you to your doctors appointments or pick up medications only on 2 specific days of the week, too bad if your doctor isn't available on those days. "Light housekeeping" I've been in motels that took cleaning more seriously. The outside of the facility "activities " are only shopping trips, I was told there would be community trips and access to nature.

We wanted to be very careful when choosing a place for my sister and ultimately she would make the decision when she came to town. We looked at so many Senior Living facilities in the area for her. They all offered something different and prices varied from place to place. She chose Solstice because it was a warm and friendly place and the people that lived there seemed to really like it. My sister has lived there for years now and calls it home.The apartments are nice and the staff is great! The activities are fun and engaging and there is always a little something for everyone. The food is really good too. Carla is in the office and is supportive of the people that live there and her staff, but also takes time if I have questions. She seems to really care about the people that live there and her staff. They all greet me with a smile and friendly hello. I would highly recommend Solstice in Normandy Park.

The residents are so warm and welcoming. The grounds are clean and tidy. The restaurant serves fresh bread, salads, soups each day on top of entree. The value for the location cant be beat. The amenities make this truly a community.

Devine, the care provider service at Solstice Senior Living, is really great. I particularly appreciate Vicky and all her help. She is quick to respond to my needs and has worked with me to make sure i get what i need. I would recommend some providers Devine when you need some extra care. I need to add that while i was there my lift chair came unplugged. Instead of helping me, Samantha made me call 911 just to get my chair plugged back in. I couldnt believe it. The director of Solstice did not bother to check on me.

This is a happy place for seniors to live. There are good meals and services for people who are capable of independent living. People who need assisted living need to select other arrangements.

This is the community we selected to live in. Its well located to shopping and has a bus to take you to doctor appointments. The food is well prepared and served. Its an Independent Retirement Community that can well suit your needs with friends youre going to make quickly and staff that is knowledgeable and helpful. There are activities to entertain, and tours to abundant activities and sites abounding. Should you need medical help its a button push away with a major paramedic equipped fire station just blocks away. The CHI Hospital and medical center is located about two miles north on 1st Ave S, so whether its a routine appointment or inpatient help, its only minutes away. If you are looking for a pet friendly, positive, healthy lifestyle, physical and occupational therapy services on site along with beautiful greens and flowers in season, this is a location you need to check out. I am sure you will be pleased and well served by stopping by and checking out. Guest accommodations are available by appointment so you can experience the full range of activities of this beautiful facility that is very likely to become your new home. One that will serve you well for years to come.
