Our mother moved to Aegis in Kent after 3 years at an assisted living facility. She is happy and has new friends. Though her dementia is slowly progressing, her overall well-being has improved through increased daily interaction and stimulation. Even during COVID lockdowns, the staff kept the residents busy and engaged. We had frequent virtual visits which was a great comfort when real hugs were on hold. The staff's attention to details, even mid-morning smoothies for hydration, is greatly appreciated by our family. Thanks, Aegis of Kent!

We have just relocated my 96year old dad to the delightful Aegis Living of Kent. There are so many emotions with a move of this nature and the staff at Aegis in Kent has been so good, so kind and so personal with every aspect of this transition.... while they have a great awareness of what the families of their residents are going through, they also have such a heart for the people in their charge. As we looked at various memory care places across the country, we decided on Aegis of Kent because as a stand-alone memory care facility everyone who works in the building know all the challenges and gifts of dementia. And from the director and marketing manager, to the care workers and health specialists I can see that they actually care about my dad and his comfort and safety. They are so good at accepting each person as they are and redirecting their residents if change is needed in the moment! They have a daily activity calendar that offers options every day and the people who lead them are also filled with energy, patience, humor and heart. As a family member I am always made to feel welcome at any hour and for any length of time. I could go on, but I will close by saying how happy my family is with our decision to entrust Aegis Living of Kent with our beloved patriarch.

My Dad had a stroke in May 2020. We had to place him in a memory care facility that we could not tour due to Covid. We moved Dad in but soon found him struggling due to no, or little stimulation or interaction. The head of nursing was a very caring person and when she moved to Aegis we happily moved our Dad too!Not only has Dads quality of life improved 200%, his care level even decreased because he is thriving in his new community. We have found a real family at Aegis of Kent! They have a staff that goes above and beyond anything we could have expected. If you want high quality care, innovative approaches, great communication and support, you should consider Aegis of Kent for your loved one! It has changed our life, and more importantly the life of our Dad!

A year ago I had to make the most heartbreaking and heart wrenching decision of my life and that was to place my dear husband in a memory care facility. I had done my research six months prior and visited several different facilities. When I went on the tour at Aegis in Kent I was immediately impressed with the staff and how clean the facility was and how much it felt like a warm and loving home. What truly touched my heart was at the end of the tour I broke down in uncontrollable tears within seconds there were four of the staff members surrounding me with warm embraces and tender words of comfort.The depth of love ,understanding ,comfort and words of encouragement are more then the human heart can possibly comprehend. I know without a doubt that my husband is loved ,honored and respected .He is taken care of with such love, compassion and dignity for the wonderful man he is. He is well kept in his appearance and grooming and you can truly feel the love when you walk in the door ,what more could we ask for knowing our loved one is loved by all the staff.? I would highly recommend Aegis in Kent, they have given me peace of mind knowing my love one is cherished as I cherish him. Jennie Moser

If anyone needs to place a family member in a care facility I recommend Aegis of Kent very highly. Our family friend was there for 3 years. The staff was there through every step of this journey. They are the kindest people I have encountered in this setting. The way they treated our friend was a beautiful thing to watch.....love, friendship, dignity and so much more. I am so happy that we found Aegis for my Mom. The staff is very supportive of the family, and so kind, respectful, and caring for my Mom. There are many different activities and as well as gardens and relaxation spaces.

My sister-in-law lived at Kent Aegis about a year. Aegis was her extended family. When her husband died (my brother), she had no one close to visit her. The staff knew our situation and just took over being her main family day-to day. I and my sister would visit her as often as we could get there. But we trusted in Aegis to care for her and about her. What a great feeling that is! Thank you for all you do every day!!
