Big shout-out to Savanna & Carrie leading this wonderful community! The hospitality and family like atmosphere they've created here is top notch. The layout of the community and how everything flows was amazing to see and experience from our tour. You can tell everyone working there is very passionate about what they do and serving the community in Kent. Highly recommend!

Aegis Living staff have been tremendous very positive very helpful and instrumental in ingesting my parents into their facility separately at different times. They know all the things to do they know all the boxes to check and they've been through this before and they made us feel very comfortable. It's been a very good experience so far!

This is a beautiful memory care community. There is a family of wild bunnies in the garden the residents love to watch. The health and wellness nurse Ruby has been here for YEARS which is almost unheard of in Senior Care communities.

Aegis Living Kent exceeded my expectations. I toured this community and not only where the staff friendly and knowledgeable but they cared about their residents. Their thoughtfulness was very evident and each resident gets their care plan followed to a T. I am very impressed with Aegis Living Kent and know that they will be able to care for people who not only have dementia but other tough behaviors as well. Great work!

Aegis Living is a good and quite place if you are looking for a facility of a loved one who need special care in aging and transitioning The place is clean and attractive. The staffs from the Executive play their roles with dignity and respect showing love to all residents not minding the challenges that come along with this noble career. 5/19/25 We had a family member stay 30days for respite care. The whole team is wonderful and work hard to keep residents entertained, comfortable, healthy, and happy! They are compassionate and understanding and do their best not to just support the person staying, but they want to support the whole family. Not just cookie cutter support. They worked hard to understand our family. They have creative actives to occupy residents throughout the day. They try to make them feel like they are home. They never made us feel bad for reaching out. We couldn’t visit since we would be the ride home and didn’t want to cause confusion or agitation. The bad: medication/ medication supply. We got our medication back thrown in a clear garbage bag and a lot of what was left was unusable, not sure how the medication was crumbled unless they tossed it around - expensive mistake on our part. We also got a surprise bill from their pharmacy for diabetic supplies. We were never contacted about that. We were told we did not have to use their pharmacy. We also got a call two days before insulin would run out. Blamed us for not using their pharmacy when I asked why we didn’t get a call sooner to have more time to take it up. They insisted they did - they did not since I was up that way for errands a few days before and would have taken it then. We also made sure he would have enough for the entire stay and then were told we do not do it correctly Rushed it to them so he would not run out. On pick up, no surprise, an entire pen of insulin plus a little from the other was left, no apology, just: I guess you were right. We were going to do day stay with them but put a pause on that. The surprise bill we we were told would not happen but did left us a little sour about this experience, and a little concerned they just ordered those supplies from their pharmacy without letting us know when we took all diabetic supplies as they requested. All that said, if we could afford it, we would move him in. I’m sure using their pharmacy would clear up all the issues we had with medication/medical supply stuff.

Our mother moved to Aegis in Kent after 3 years at an assisted living facility. She is happy and has new friends. Though her dementia is slowly progressing, her overall well-being has improved through increased daily interaction and stimulation. Even during COVID lockdowns, the staff kept the residents busy and engaged. We had frequent virtual visits which was a great comfort when real hugs were on hold. The staff's attention to details, even mid-morning smoothies for hydration, is greatly appreciated by our family. Thanks, Aegis of Kent!

We have just relocated my 96year old dad to the delightful Aegis Living of Kent. There are so many emotions with a move of this nature and the staff at Aegis in Kent has been so good, so kind and so personal with every aspect of this transition.... while they have a great awareness of what the families of their residents are going through, they also have such a heart for the people in their charge. As we looked at various memory care places across the country, we decided on Aegis of Kent because as a stand-alone memory care facility everyone who works in the building know all the challenges and gifts of dementia. And from the director and marketing manager, to the care workers and health specialists I can see that they actually care about my dad and his comfort and safety. They are so good at accepting each person as they are and redirecting their residents if change is needed in the moment! They have a daily activity calendar that offers options every day and the people who lead them are also filled with energy, patience, humor and heart. As a family member I am always made to feel welcome at any hour and for any length of time. I could go on, but I will close by saying how happy my family is with our decision to entrust Aegis Living of Kent with our beloved patriarch.

My Dad had a stroke in May 2020. We had to place him in a memory care facility that we could not tour due to Covid. We moved Dad in but soon found him struggling due to no, or little stimulation or interaction. The head of nursing was a very caring person and when she moved to Aegis we happily moved our Dad too! Not only has Dads quality of life improved 200%, his care level even decreased because he is thriving in his new community. We have found a real family at Aegis of Kent! They have a staff that goes above and beyond anything we could have expected. If you want high quality care, innovative approaches, great communication and support, you should consider Aegis of Kent for your loved one! It has changed our life, and more importantly the life of our Dad!

If anyone needs to place a family member in a care facility I recommend Aegis of Kent very highly. Our family friend was there for 3 years. The staff was there through every step of this journey. They are the kindest people I have encountered in this setting. The way they treated our friend was a beautiful thing to watch.....love, friendship, dignity and so much more. My sister-in-law lived at Kent Aegis about a year. Aegis was her extended family. When her husband died (my brother), she had no one close to visit her. The staff knew our situation and just took over being her main family day-to day. I and my sister would visit her as often as we could get there. But we trusted in Aegis to care for her and about her. What a great feeling that is! Thank you for all you do every day!!
